I was thinking that he was buying flowers to decorate a grave every Saturday morning. Could be a veteran's grave that he realize goes unnoticed every year, or maybe his parents. Depends on how angsty we should have this...
Perhaps in the RP? I'll probably find a face claim for a roleplay profile.
My guy in mind is the giant redhead, kind of flirty, but fighting a lot of inner demons. He covers up insecurities with a larger than life attitude, and is really a big softie. He's a sucker for happy endings, and a hopeless romantic, unbeknownst to most people who encounter him.

Okay, I dig I dig
Mine is a Korean American. He’s tall and slender. He’s looks like Vernon from Seventeen. He’s a happy, bubbly guy, kind of awkward, but in a charming way
I have his stuff already typed out so I’ll just post it here. You don’t gotta worry about doing that if you don’t want to

Jayden "Jay" Choi - Male - 19 - Gay
Face claim: Vernon from Seventeen
He's a Korean American (dad= American (he's dead), mom=Korean). He stands at 5'11" with the build of a string bean. He is lean, but he doesn't have a lot of bulk to him. He has pale, well taken care of skin. It typically has a healthy, milky glow. He is really hardcore about his skin care. He has a diamond-esque face. It's more square at the top and then becomes angular as you get to his jawline and chin. He has very prominent, round cheeks, smallish lips (which are typically chapped), and a set of monolidded, dark brown eyes framed by round, thickish eyebrows. His smile is like a beam of sunshine, it's one of his most charming features. He rocks an undercut, with the longer top bit of his hair typically parted and hanging toward his forehead. Sometimes he goes for a side part, other times he goes for a middle part. His hair is a nice, almost dirty blonde-brown (see pic with the navy and red hoodie). For his size, he has small hands. He often dresses in baggy shirts and skinny jeans.
As for Jay's personality, he's a pretty bubbly guy. He's upbeat, friendly, genuine, and down to earth. He's basically a giant ray of sunshine. He's not the best with social skills. He's very bad at reading people and situations (a lot of sarcasm goes right over his head), but the fact that he tries really helps him connect with people. He's not a very complex boy. You can tell if something is wrong. He will, however try to hide it so he won't burden you with it. He's an awful liar though. He's very big on putting other people before him. He goes out of his way to help others. He's very pure. He likes just about everything- people, animals, and plants. He has a sort of charm about him, but not in a flirtatious way. He's really bad at flirting, and noticing when people are flirting. He's very naive in that sense. He has a sort of 'young-at-heart' sort of mentality. He's so unforgivably himself, he won't even notice if someone doesn't like him.

Not at all! It won’t be up for a while though, I’m about to go out with my sister and I won’t be back until later. Is that okay?

I'm going to run to the gym, and then I'll probably go out with family, so I'll have to catch you later.

(btw, any talking in italics is in korean and i posted his appearance in the post with his personality just cause. Imma pm you a picture of him real quick since Vernon has so many looks, I wanna make sure you get the right picture in mind and sorry it's not my best starter. I hope this is what you had in mind. If not, I can tweak it a bit!)
It was about 6pm on a chilly, Friday evening. Jay was hunched over the counter inside the Choi family flower shop - Happy Flowers. He was idly tapping his fingers. They were slender and moved gracefully in a manner that would be odd to the onlooker, but made sense to him. He was pretending to play the piano. His oddly small, feminine hands were beasts on the piano. Jay typically did this. He had been playing piano for as long as he could reach the keys. His brown eyes were distant. He was completely inside of his head, not really in the world at the moment. He jumped when he heard his mother shout something from the back. "Huh?" he called over his shoulder. His mother, 5'2" marched out with a bouquet in her hand, and a scolding look on her face. Jay carefully took the flowers from her, his small hands delicately holding it as he listened to his mother. "Go put those out there on display too." She scurried off in the back, already talking to her sisters before she even got completely back there.
Jay gave a small huff before setting them in an empty vase on the shelves with the rest of the bouquets. He trailed back behind the counter, brushing his hands over the apron he had tied over his oversized sweater. "It's been a long day Mimi," he stated. He glanced down at his feet. An old Collie lay on a dog bed behind the counter. That was Mimi, she was the family dog. They had gotten her when he was about 10 years old. She was pretty old nowadays, but she still had some spunk in her. She was just a little white-faced and stiff legged.
Jay smiled and crouched down to pet her. He only got about two pets in before he heard the chime of the door opening. He shot up behind the counter. "Hi, I'm Jay, welcome to Happy Flowers!" he called instinctively.
He recognized this man. He had been coming in for just about every Friday evening of this month. He always bought a bouquet of flowers. Heck, Jay should probably start giving him a discount. He should also probably learn his name sometime here in the near future too.
Soon, the ginger man had approached the counter. Jay offered him a bright smile, "How are you doing today?" he questioned. He looked down at the bouquet he had set on the counter, eyeing over it for a moment. His warm gaze returned to the man, "That will be ten dollars," he stated. It had been $15 last week, and all the weeks before that, Hopefully, he'd realize.
