Hi I have a lot of poems I have but I would love to share them. It's my first time showing them to people that aren't close friends so I hope you like them.
How Lonely is the Girl
How Lonely is the Girl
How lonely is the girl
Who knows only of words.
Words of hate and sadness
Of darkness and regret
That fall from her own lips
After hearing them from others
How lonely is the girl
Who knows only of the reality inside.
A reality created to offer a home
Where she is surrounded by others
Who will never cast her out
And there she feels she belongs
How lonely is the girl
Who knows only of giving up.
She quits when told to by others
Saying it will help her in the end
And though they promised her no pain
The regret and hurt is more than she can bear
How lonely is the girl
Who knows only of hiding.
Invisible walls and smiling masks
Fool the ones watching with blind eyes
And as hard as she tries to let someone in
The masks hide her tears and the walls won't fall
How lonely is the girl
Who knows only of despair.
A pretty girl who thinks otherwise
Wants to be someone she isn't
To please the society she lives in
So that she might finally fit in
How lonely is the girl
Who knows only of tears.
She won't let anyone see them
Out of fear they'll think she's weak
But invisible tears roll down her cheeks
Making her eyes turn the color of Spring fields
The Reality of Clouds
I believe in a different reality
That can be found in the sky
With brief lives and long ties
This is the reality of clouds
War and tears reach this world
Considered as rain and thunder
Castles hidden in white forts
Home to giants and angels
And in the wars between the two
The angels' arrows shine bright
And with the fire of the giants
Together they create the sun
The sky deceives the ones below
By concealing sacred secrets
Shapes of clouds hold ancients
Afraid of humanity's destruction
Wise are the old beings above
For they know to fear the humans
The stars remind them every night
Of what war and humanity brings
Day and Night, Sun and Moon
Opposite in meaning yet alike
The Sun a starry wolf born from war
The Moon a skeletal fox with a soul
Life and Death, Wolf and Fox
These are the rulers of clouds
Under the wolf, war rages
Under the fox, the dead shine
There is a different reality in the clouds
In which war kills giants and angels
The stars are the fallen that died young
And the sacred secrets hide in white
Dear Child,
There are moments in which everything is laid bare
And you are given more to handle than what’s fair.
Sure you have done things you lament
And yet they won’t let you repent
So all you do is look down to the ground
Wishing that soon love will surround
With walls of light and smile bright
Yet all that follows you is blight
Remove the toxins from your soul
And take back the hope they stole
Don’t you let them see you cry
Instead turn your gaze to the sky
Walk away and leave the past
And let yourself be happy at last
The Strings of Fate
Follow your heart, darling,
It will never ever fail you.
If it is true and pure, my love,
Know it will always guide you.
Have passion in your words
And let emotions be clear.
Leave your masks behind you
They confuse the Strings of Fate.
And, beloved, show the truth
You have always hidden inside.
If the world scorns you don't cry
Your tears will grow black roses.
Take your heart out of the cage
And save it from the sea of despair.
Leave your black roses behind
They tangle the Strings of Fate.
My dear, listen to your heart.
To the whispers and giggles,
To the screams and pleas.
Ignore the fear of rejection
Simply risk it all for once.
There is no fun in security.
Listen to me for once, my darling love,
Before this String of Fate is forever severed.
