Welcome to GlaciemClan! This is a literate and advanced/semi-advanced rp
Here's the directory to the Clan page:

Intro Post #2
You climb down a rocky ledge near a large waterfall, pausing every now and then to gaze at its awing beauty. Your paws ache from the tedious trek through the mountains behind you. You had heard that the land on the other side was lush and full of prey, and had come to look for yourself. Of course, you had also heard of the group of fierce cats with strange crystals around their necks resided here also, but you roll your eyes at the thought. That's just an old tale for kits. Your paws touch soft grass as you reach the bottom of the ridged slope, and you can't help but let out a loud purr. The sounds of prey scuffling in the grass hit your ears, making your mouth water. You begin to tread excitedly through the fragrant pine trees. The stories were right! This place was gorgeous. You finally found a home that suits you best. "Stop right there!" a voice snarls. You freeze in your tracks. "What are you doing in our territory, loner?" the voice hisses again. Spinning around on your paws, you face the unknown speaker. In front of you is a lean, angry looking tortoiseshell she-cat. Next to her is a broad-shouldered dark grey tabby tom. "Now, Maplebreeze, calm yourself," says the tom. Maplebreeze flicks her tail to the side, and mutters, "Yes Ashenstar." "Who are you? And what are you doing here?" By now you notice your whiskers are trembling. You shake your head and state your name, and tell them you've come here to live. "Live here, you say? You do know this is GlaciemClan territory. No outsiders allowed," Ashenstar tells you. You look down, disappointed. "Of course, you do look formidable. Perhaps... You could join our ranks-" "What?!" gasps Maplebreeze. The tom raised his tail for silence. "If... The Stones of Vitrum Cave accept you. What do you say?"

Rules Post #2
Note to me: Change, form old forums
Literacy: This Clan is a literate and advanced role-play. This means you must have proper grammar and spelling when you role-play and have at least 4 or more complete sentences. There will be no "Examplecat picked up a mouse and ate it. Then he licked his whiskers." Turn it into a few sentences, be more detailed. If you are unable to do this, you may not be accepted.
Activity: You must be active. Be on at least 2-3 times a week. I know sometimes people are busy. If you are for some reason unable to be on, just pm me and let me know. I want this Clan to be active and strong, and I will not tolerate inactive members. If you
Realism: Your characters are not perfect. Nobody is. So please, no Gary/Mary sues, power-playing, God-moding, spotlighting, etc. These WILL NOT be tolerated. You have three warnings when it comes to these. If you break all three, you will be forced out of the Clan. Sorry. Also, don' go making your cat purple. That isn't realistic. Don't make your characters over the top in colors or attributes. The only colors different for eyes I will accept is brown, a deep violet, and grey. Nothing else.
Gender/Gem Color Ratio: I would like to keep the Clan evenly balanced. So please, for every she-cat you make, try to make a tom. And vice versa. With Spirit Stones, please try to keep High-shades and Low-shades even. Again, for every High-shade you make, try to make a Low-shades
Plot Lines: If there are any major plots going on, please make an effort to follow them. Don't just ignore every event that goes on, it kills the purpose, and makes it less fun for everyone else.
Forum Rules: Forum Rules are my rules.
The cats of crystal have not always lived below the mountains. Many seasons ago, the Clan of GlaciemClan did not exist. It instead was a small group of cats who lived farther north than the familiar mountains, in a Taiga biome. These cats lived in peace in their snowy home, and prey was plentiful. But soon a pack of wolves had moved in, and posed a great threat. The cats were being attacked and killed. They had no choice but to leave and travel farther south. Because of this, GlaciemClan refers to them as the Nomads. When the Nomads came upon the mountains, they settled temporarily for a few days. A few of the cats, who became known as the Fateful Six, loved the area, with all of its beauties and wonders. When it was time to move on, these Six refused. They demanded that the Nomads stay, and settle here. The other cats did not share the same love for the mountains as the Six. The Nomads ended up splitting up, leaving the Fateful Six behind. The Six began to explore their new home and stumbled upon Vitrum Cave, which lead to the discovery of Spirit Stones. They settled their camp at the base of the mountains, which is now GlaciemClan's camp.
The northern and eastern parts of the land in rough mountain terrain. The tree line reaches to about halfway up the mountain, then it is bare of almost all vegetation, aside from a few randomly scattered trees and brush in occasional places. The peaks are covered in snow and ice almost the entire year, but during Leaf-bare the conditions are exceptionally worse and far more dangerous. Quite a few predatorial birds live here, in addition to rams, mountain cats, and other mountain biome animals. At the base of the mountain is a lush pine forest, which is also covered in a harsh snow during Leaf-bare. There is a river running through the forest the runs from a waterfall that tumbles down the mountains in the north and flows down towards the south end of the border. It then branches off into a small lake and a separate river before disappearing out of sight.
Stella Grotto: The Stella Grotto is on the left of the Asper Rock Falls in the northwestern area of the territory. It is sheltered from the thundering waterfall by large, flat stones, which also conceal its entrance. Inside, there is a narrow, mossy trail that leads to a small cave behind the waterfall. In the middle of this cave is a small, crystal clear pool called the Stella Pool and eerie glowing moss that fills the cave's walls. When the moonlight is just right, the light will shine through the waterfalls shimmering curtain and fall into the Stella Pool, causing it to glisten with silvery light. This where the medicine cat and leader come to speak with StarClan.
Asper Rock Falls: The Asper Rock Falls is a staggeringly tall waterfall, that crashes down from the towering mountains in the northwestern part of the territory. It is the source of the river that flows through GlaciemClan's territory. At the bottom of these thundering waters, is large, rough stones that litter the water below. These stone cause the water to turn white and mist when it hits the bottom. If a cat were to fall in at this point, they would be ripped to shreds by these boulders. Surviving a fall from the top is a chance of 1/1000000. When the light catches on the mist from the waterfall, it sometimes creates a rainbow. On the left of the Asper Rock Falls underneath more stones is the Stella Grotto, which lies behind the waterfall.
Crystal Tree: The Crystal Tree is an enormous, oddly shaped pine tree in the southwestern area of the territory, not too far from the Training Grounds. It has strange vine hanging down from its ancient branches. When it is cold enough, the dew freezes on the branches and vines, making it look like the tree is made of crystal. It sparkles in the sunlight when it is frozen. When the wind is blowing, the ice makes a beautiful chingling sound, like a natural wind chime
Training Grounds: The Training Grounds is a clearing in the southwestern area of the territory. There are a few loose branches and stump, which are great for obstacles when training. The ground is filled with soft, short meadow grass. This is where mentors and apprentices come to train.
White Water Drop: Water Drop= is a smaller waterfall than Asper Rock Falls, but it is far more dangerous. It is near the middle of the territory before the split of the river and Stagnum Lake. This waterfall lies in a small gorge, and carries the name of White Water because of the dangerous whitewater chaos that lies at the bottom. Any cat who falls into this is never seen again. If they are, it is usually only the tattered body that remains. Rocks and logs scatter the bottom of the gorge which makes it even more of an obstacle. It is a place to avoid, especially for young cats.
Stagnum Lake: The Stagnum Lake is a small lake on the southeastern corner of the territory. The river that flows through the territory splits off and feeds into this lake. There are some larger fish than in the river that live in this lake, though they are harder to catch. In the middle of Leaf-bare, the lake freezes solid. The river, though, has only frozen once in GlaciemClan history. In Green-leaf, the lake is a great spot to cool off and relax. The sand surrounding the lake is soft and smooth, and holds a light silky brown color.
Vitrum Cave: Vitrum Cave lies in the icy mountains in the northern part of the territory. This is the cave that apprentices journey to on their Spirit Quest to find their Spirit Stones. The outside is hard to spot. It is a small entrance cover nearly completely in snow. It is made easier to find by the dead tree that lies a few feet to the left. Once you enter, it opens up to an enormous cave filled with gemstones of all colors, sizes, and shapes. Questing cats must find their Spirit Stone in this cave, and return to GlaciemClan camp safely.

In GlaciemClan, each cat possesses a gem unique to them called a Spirit Stone, in which they wear around their neck on a silver collar like chain. The chains are made by the elders, but of course, if there are none, this duty falls upon the senior warriors. A cat gets their Spirit Stone when they are about to a warrior. Below is the descriptions of the gems themselves, and the means in which a cat receives one.
Spirit Quest: When an apprentice is ready to become a warrior, they must make a dangerous journey up the snowy mountains to Vitrum Cave. This is called the Spirit Quest. Inside this eerie cave, there are many different gemstones of all colors, shapes, and sizes in the walls and floor. The questing cat must find the stone that is connected to their soul in the cavern. They will know in their heart what gem was meant for them when they see it, as they will feel drawn to it. This is called a Spirit Stone. As soon as the apprentice touches it, the gem will give off a bright glow that lasts for a few moment, as their own. After they find it, they must carry the gem back down the mountain and take it to the medicine cat. The medicine cat not only heals and speaks with StarClan, but also helps cats to determine the type of the gem, and what it means.
Spirit Stones: A Spirit Stone is a gem that defines a cat by its color and type. The color places one in a rank in the Clan, like a caste system. Each rank is called a Shade. The "higher" the Shade, the higher the rank and more respected you are, but the higher Shades are rarer than the low. There is still no known reason to why the caste system was put into place. It is much like royalty and commoners. Cats from the same Shade are more likely to get along. The type of stone represents one's personality. You get the type in which you have the most traits in common with. The type of the stone is just as important as the color because it represents who the cat is.
When choosing a gem color and type, it does not matter if the gem cannot be a certain color (ex. Emerald be yellow). In this Clan, stones can be any color you choose. Just pick a color and a type of your choice.
Low-Shades are the lower ranked cats in the Clan. These cats rarely are given charge of patrols and are likely to have the more laborious jobs. It is rare when a Low-Shade becomes Leader or deputy. These are more common than the High-Shades.
Pink ;;< Pink varies from a soft petal pink to deep fuchsia color. It is the lowest Shade.
Red ;; Red can vary from a pale red to a blood-colored crimson red. Second lowest Shade.
Orange ;; Orange varies from a soft morning orange to a dark, burnt amber color. It is the second highest Low-Shade.
Yellow ;; Yellow often varies from a gentle, faint marigold, to an eerie, dark gold. It is the highest of the Low-Shades.
Mid-Shades are reserved only for medicine cats. They are in the middle of the Shade levels, as they stand for both sides of the Shades, and represent both High and Low. But still hold high power in the Clan, as they do in normal Clans, and are always to be respected. There are two types of Shades a medicine cat can receive, but they are considered the same level.
NOTE- Medicine cat apprentices must also make the journey to Virtum Cave.
Green ;; Green varies from a faint olive green to a dark emerald green. This color is reserved for medicine cats only. Medicine cats who have a green Shade tend to be better with herbs
White/Silver ;; White is it's own color. Silver tends to vary from a ghostly silvery grey, to a deep steel colored silver. These two colors are considered the same Shade and are reserved for medicine cats only. Medicine cats who have a white or silver Shade tend to have a closer connection to StarClan, and are better with omens.
High-Shades are the higher ranked cats in the Clan, and tend to be the ones to lead patrols and have other higher priority duties. Leaders and deputies also are more likely to have High-Shade gems. These are rarer than the Low-Shades.
Teal ;; Teal is a blue-green color, and can vary from light to dark. It is the lowest of the High-Shades.<
Blue ;; Blue varies from a light sky-blue to a cool water blue. It is one level up from teal.
Indigo ;; Indigo is a deep, dark colored blue. It varies from dark blue to midnight blue. Seconded highest High-Shade.
Purple ;; Purple can vary from a light lavender to a deep royal purple. It is the highest and most rare Shade.
Gem Types ;;
These are the types of gems and the possible personalities each one possesses. Cats don't necessarily have all the traits that come with the gem types, but they share many in common.
❋ IMPORTANT ;; You do NOT have to take all the traits, or make a cat to match these! They could just have one. Just pick a stone type that you think would match your cats' personality the best. I know some of these stones cannot be some of the colors available. But you can choose any stone you want, along with any color. This is not going to be realistic when it comes to this issue.
Amethyst ;; Amethysts tend to be very calm and focused. They seem to have pleasant thoughts and dreams, though they tend not to share them. Amethysts are one of the kinder gemstones, and are good at comforting others, whether they be in pain, fear, or sad. They like to help others sort out their emotional problems. They tend to give out advice and are very wise about it.
Aquamarine ;; Aquamarines are bubbly and peppy. They don't like to be yelled at, though they do themselves have quite the strange temper. Aquamarines love water, rain, and even snow. They tend to like the taste of fish from the river rather than the woodland creatures. Aquamarines are very playful, but they tend to get distracted a lot. But when things get serious, Aquamarines are one of the first to jump into action.
Bismuth ;; Bismuths are very strange, and have an interesting personality. Their mood can change in just an instant. They're very colorful and have a lot of different perspectives on things. They tend to like to solve problems and create strategies. Bismuths tend to think a lot about things, and sometimes overthink on subjects. They tend to get stressed very easily.
Celestite ;; Celestites tend to be very aware of their surroundings, and are very uplifting. They bring joy to almost any situation and are very gentle. They are very kind and selfless. They are quick on their paws and move quite fast. Celesitites tend to be very fast learners. Though they do lack patience, at times.
Crystal Quartz ;; Crystal Quartzs tend to be very cold and mean towards others. They have a bad attitude and have a short temper. They hold grudges for very long times and don't forgive easily. They sometimes have a soft spot for young kits, but they don't let this show. Crystal Quartzs tend to be very skilled in climbing, and love to be in higher places.
Diamond ;; Diamonds tend to be innocent, and down to earth. Though they may look soft, and easy to mess with, they are extremely tough and durable. They are usually good at arguing, and always put up a good fight in battle. They tend to be very dependable and very protective of others or themselves. Diamonds can sometimes have a quick temper, but only on rare occasions. They tend to avoid thinking about negative things as much as they can.
Emeralds ;; Emeralds tend to be very loving. They tend to be very wise and have hope and faith in a lot of things. Emeralds are one of the calmer gemstones and are usually in a good mood. They tend to be very organized, and want things to go their way. They love to be out in the forest on sunny days. When Emeralds are angry, you want to watch what you say, because they lash out. This gem type tends to be medicine cats, but there are occasions where it is not.
Halite ;; Halites tend to be very hyper and bubbly. When they get excited about something, it's hard to calm them down. Halites also like to but into other cats' business. They are very curious and tend to ask a lot of questions. Halites sometimes talk quite a bit and daydream a lot. They are very dedicated to their friends and can be very fierce if you mess with them.
Iolite ;; Iolites tend to be timid and quiet. They don't do well when trying to express themselves and aren't very confident in themselves. They are very shy and are sometimes seen as weak. Iolites like often to be alone to try and think and enjoy the quiet. They are hard to gain trust from. Iolites can be frightened easily. Underneath, they are very kind and compassionate. Once they trust someone, they are a lot more open towards them.
Jade ;; Jade tend to be protective, and motherly/fatherly like towards others. They have a very loving nature and are very defensive. They tend to think of others before themselves. Jades hate to see others in pain and will defend their Clanmates or territory with their life if need be. These tend to be medicine cats, but it can be others as well.
Morganite ;; Morganites are very power hungry and determined. They try to impress others to try and get approval or prove things. Morganites are usually the first into battle and have a very fierce stature. They can have sour attitudes. Sometimes they are arrogant and tease others. Morganites can be very snobby, and self-centered. They are very competitive and will do anything to be better than others.
Opal ;; Opals tend to be stern. They always feel as if they must do better in what they do, and try to always sort out their mistakes. They have a good sense of humor and can be very sweet and caring. They try to think of the consequences of their actions before they do something. Opals tend to be relaxed and clam most of the time.
Quartz ;; Quartzs have two types of personalities. They can be very spunky and outgoing. And also very playful. They tend to get into trouble a lot because of curiosity and lack of foresight. Or they can be very dark and brooding, the complete opposite. They always find a negative side to something and are very lazy. They like to sleep a lot, but they still get stuff done when forced. Both sides can be a bit of a pawful at times.
Ruby ;; Rubies can be very confident and self-involved. At times, they can think they are invincible, and that they can do anything. They are very determined and always worry about the little things. Rubies are very respectful of others and are very loyal. They tend to be very courageous and often bite off more than they can chew. They are very good at talking others into things.
Sapphire ;; Sapphires tend to be calm and collected. They are good at following and giving orders and often have a clear mind. Sapphires sometimes don't have much of a sense of humor, since they usually are serious most of the time. They tend to focus on the current task at hand, but always have a plan of action for the next step ahead. They don't like to "wing it," and they have a hard time relaxing.
Topaz ;; Topazs tend to be very noble and humble. They try no to show their emotion and are very confident in their actions. They like to encourage others to do their best. They don't get nervous often. Topazs have compassion towards others and tend to be very understanding. They try not to let their temper get the best of them, but they can sometimes slip.
