OakClan Rules-
1. Follow forum rules and be kind to your fellow Clanmates. This should be a given.
2. No unrealistic pelt colors. We don't want purple-pelted and fuchsia-furred warriors. However, if you have a very rare but possible cat (I.e. a male tortoiseshell or an all-black cat with blue eyes), post here or PM me to ask if they can join or not. Usually, my answer depends on how many other cats have that same rare mutation- if there's already a male tortie in OakClan, I might not let another in, but if there isn't, I might let one in.
3. You can roleplay as many characters as you'd like (just check out how many I have!) but remember that you must roleplay them all evenly.
4. Try to keep your characters at a somewhat even gender ratio. Don't enter three mollies, for example; try two mollies and a tom.
5. Please don't join with only kit characters. There are only three ways to RP a kit in OakClan- you RP a queen (so if you enter a kit and a queen in you will be accepted), the kit is dead, or the kit is of someone else's (or your own) character and they've agreed to let you have it.
6. LGBT characters are allowed! (honestly this should be a given as well) Homophobes are not welcome here in OakClan. you have no idea how angry I get at RPs who don’t accept gay cats
7. OakClan uses the traditional naming system. This basically means that the names are similar to those used in the first six books, and every suffix has a meaning (-claw denotes being good in battle, -storm means an unpredictable cat, -flower denotes a kind cat, and -cloud means a calm cat, for example. You can see the full list below.) Please do not enter names like Lilyblossom, Kestrelwing, or Yellowblaze, try names like Lilystripe, Kestrelheart, or Yellowstorm. (The passcode for the joining form is Hemlock.)
8. If your apprentice character graduates, I will choose the suffix as Clan leader. This keeps a level of excitement in getting a new name. The same can be said of a warrior name- prefix and suffix- if your non-Clan character joins OakClan.
9. Be literate! Please use proper grammar. No one-liners, try to make your reply at least three detailed sentences long. A simple "Blackwhisker walked over to the den." will not be enough for sufficient roleplaying. Details are welcomed!
10. This RP is meant to harken back to the feel of the old-school Warriors books (think The Prophecies Begin). You don't have to do this, but you can try to emulate the original series's writing style if you like.
11. Two of your characters can't fall in love with one another, but you can roleplay as both mentor and apprentice. The mentor and apprentice is a very strong bond- thicker than blood, even- in OakClan.
12. If a prefix is already being used by a living cat in OakClan, you cannot use it. (If the cat is not alive or not in OakClan, feel free to use it though!) See below for the list of prefixes in usage. Remember the names Jagged- and Acorn- have reputations with them and are rarely used in OakClan, and that certain prefixes are not allowed.
13. Be active! If you don't return to OakClan in two weeks, you will be marked as inactive and all imporant clan roles you have (I.e. Deputy or Medicine cat) will be demoted to warriors. Don't show up for another two months and your characters will be deleted. Exceptions do apply to this rule, so if you explain what's happening beforehand I will listen and excuse your absence.
14. Only active members who have been in OakClan for at least two weeks can roleplay an Ancestor.
15. Have fun! What would a RP clan be without fun?

The List Of OakClan suffixes
-Claw: Exceptionally good battle capability.
-Cloud: Patient, even-tempered, calm, often quiet.
-Face: A good-looking cat.
-Fang: A cat that is good at hunting and battle, although not as good as -Claw. Tends to be associated with more erratic cats.
-Flower: A motherly, caring cat. Any cat good at raising kittens.
-Foot: Quick on the feet. Can also mean an unusual trait associated with the cat's feet (for example, if its feet are white while the rest of the cat is tabby).
-Fur: Relating to the cat's fur color. Can also refer to an "average" cat.
-Heart: A cat with strong emotions of any kind. Can also refer to any cat with a great moral judgement or high ego.
-Jaw: Same as -throat.
-Leaf: A calm, quiet, often pretty cat. Usually given to Medicine cats, but can be also given to warriors every now and then.

-Shadow: A cat that has dark fur and/or is able to move in darkness and stealth. Usually used by ShadowClan ancestors to remember their Clan.
-Spots: A cat with distinctive spots.
-Step: A steady, reliable cat, especially a good patroller.
-Storm: A cat with a volatile character.
-Stream: A cat talented at swimming.
-Stripe: A cat with a distinctive striping pattern.
-Tail: Cats of good balance. Can also refer to a cat with an unusual pattern on their tail.
-Throat: A cat that is talkative. Can also refer to a noticeable marking on the throat.
-Whisker: Cats with notable whiskers. Can also refer to cats that are good at hunting or are rather sensitive to touch.
-Wind: Fast, scrawny cats. Usually used by WindClan descendants to remember their Clan.
Keep in mind that no prefix or suffix is gendered- that is to say there can be a male Spottedflower and a female Darkclaw. Also keep in mind that if your apprentice graduates I will give them their suffix (not you), so you can use this as a guide to what your apprentice's suffix might be.

CATS WE NEED:

The Medicine Cat(s)
Prerequisites: The Medicine Cat, for the sake of plots to come, must be completely unquestionably loyal to the leader even over the Ancestors of the Stars. If there is a second med cat, be they “regular” or apprentice, should be a little more cynical and untrusting of the leader.
Activity Level needed: Very active.
Kittypets and rogues descended from kitttpets in a group known as “The Chosen”
These will be the ANTAGONISTS of OakClan’s first main plot.
Prerequisites: All must either be kittypets or descended from them. Preferably purebred cats.
The leader of The Chosen:
This will be the MAIN ANTAGONIST of the first plot.
Prerequisites: Very self-righteous. Claims they are a prophet of a godlike being. Preferably rather old.
Activity Level needed: Very active.
The deputy will be chosen from the Warriors not too long into the roleplay.

i went with weeviltooth from the list you linked me to, and tooth because i figured it was a distinctive trait he had/he's not uh... the "fighting" type for "fang" lol. hope it works?

Description: a leggy black mollie with round yellow eyes and a somewhat shorter tail. She has gaunt features and a small face, her only distinguishing trait aside from her big owlish eyes being a tiny white splash on her rump that she insists is a mark from her ancestors- usually jokingly.
Personality: an impish and somewhat troublesome feline, she enjoys the humorous and harmless pranks that typically get her in trouble with the queens and elders.
History: Clanborn.
Heritage: Shadowclan descendant on both sides.

Description: A muscled majority black tortie she-cat with dark ginger and russet markings adorning her pelt. Has narrowed and heavily slanted bright amber eyes, with long whiskers that twitch with the slightest nuisance. Her fur is riddled with scars, and the lightly colored claws on her forepaws frequently poke from their sheaths unintentionally.
Personality: Mean. Ill-tempered and sometimes snooty, she can't take a joke and she is spectacularly known for being bossy and crude.
History: former loner, one that picked fights frequently under the belief that the only way to effeciently survive and enjoy living her life was through showing everybody else she was too tough to be messed with.
Heritage: Unknown- she doesn't really talk about it.
Where This Cat is Most Often Found: By the river- she likes that the noise covers up any ruckus she may make, and she can usually hide out.

Antheart / 31 moons / warrior / bisexual / none
Description: a stocky, fluffy tom cat; his fur is majority white, distorted only by tabby brown patchwork markings and a cleft in his fur along one side from a scar he accidentally gave himself as a kitten when he took a particularly bad fall. Large paws, thick legs, and the body build of a wrecking ball, this tom has pointed ears and a soft face that doesn't at all suit his body mass. Circular tan eyes reveal a glimmer of gold-green in the sunlight, and he has long, drooping ivory whiskers.
Personality: Loyal, faithful, and... boisterous. This feline loves his festivities and a good feast in particular- he's quite religious and believes no wrong can be done as long as his anscestors guide his paws.
History: Clanborn.
Heritage: His mother was a descendant of thunderclan, his father, however, was a rogue who joined the clan long before his birth.
Where This Cat is Most Often Found: More than likely sunbathing near the freshkill pile.

Brookpaw / 11 moons / warrior apprentice / heterosexual / tabitha
Description: A stiff-spined little gray-brown tabby mollie. Brookpaw has short legs and a long body, fluffy fur neatly groomed into outward pointing tufts that best make her appear bigger than she actually is. Wide angular ears frame a rather small face, a tiny heart-shaped nose sitting beneath almond shaped cool minty eyes.
Personality: A stickler for the rules, mildly uptight, and very softspoken- not in the figurative term, no, but quite literally. Her quiet voice is sharp and each word is chosen carefully and especially punctuated to put as much power behind them as possible. She may have a soft tone, but she speak volumes and holds about her an aura that dominates her immediate vicinity.
History: Found some odd moons ago, Brookpaw was then known as Tabitha, a dirty, grimy little thing that sported sores and terrible pigeon-toe that rendered her with a bad limp for the first moon or so of her joining the clan. She's gotten it sorted out now, only revealing itself in an awkward skip whenever she runs.
Heritage: Brookpaw was born the daughter of a kittypet, only to be taken from her mother and abandoned on the side of the thunderpath.
Where This Cat is Most Often Found: Near the banks of Turtle Lake, possibly even swimming if she's in the right mood.

Nutpelt / 47 moons / warrior / homosexual / none
Description: A tall, thin, and overall lanky tom with short plain brown fur, a skin tail, and long legs, his haunches being a tad bit more muscled. his fur has a subtle siamese pattern of darker ears, paws, and tail; patterned only by the gashes in his short fur where scars have been left from his past struggles. He has a long muzzle, broad face and slanted leafy green eyes.
Personality: Nutpelt is a withdrawn tom that enjoys isolation and quiet. For him to actually enjoys someone's company must mean they are genuinely well-liked, as he's known to regard most other felines with glares and hisses. When speaking, he has a low and distinctive voice that usually drips with dry wit and an outwardly unfriendly demeanor. Should he actually like someone, he becomes very quiet and very soft- intimidated really that anything he may say will come across as rude when- for once- he doesn't intend it to be.
History: Clanborn.
Heritage: His mother was of Windclan descendants, while his father was Skyclan.
Where This Cat is Most Often Found: Anywhere he can enjoy isolation.

Weeviltooth / 52 moons / warrior / heterosexual / Thomas
Description: Likely the ugliest cat in all the clan, well... he wouldn't dispute such a title. Firstly, this tom is big. Not as in fact- though he is a tad bit paunchy- but big as in tall and thick and lengthy. Thick coarse fur is a rich warm brown with thick darker marble tabby markings, with big feet and a plumy tail that drifts behind him like a banner. Now, this trademark ugliness comes entirely down to his face: he had one big yellow eye, the other screwed permanently shut, and a crooked snout leading down to a vaguely deformed jaw and protruding snaggletooth and thick black lip. He has bone-straight whiskers and a light cream muzzle, that flourishes into a little patch on the front of his throat.
Personality: Ugly and sweet. He has a very even temperament, a limitless store of patience, and a rumbling, lilting voice that says such kind things in such an unintentionally menacing tone. He loves jokes and listening to others speak, holding about him a sort of wide-eyed innocence that doesn't at all suit his age.
History: A rogue unwanted by his parents, the then known Thomas came to Oakclan seeking acceptance despite his deformities as a young adult. Given his age, he was made an apprentice at a remarkably old age, but relished his time learning and didn't mind the minor setback.
Heritage: Rogue-borne.
Where This Cat is Most Often Found: In the camp, surrounded by the cats that cared enough to give him home and family.

Snowleaf/40 moons/Medicine Cat/Homosexual/None
Description: Snowleaf is a small and fluffy white molly with dark green eyes and long whiskers. She has light silver lynx point markings and small tufts of fur on the tips of her ears. She also has a few scars; a couple notches in her right ear along with a small scar under her right eye and a bigger scar on her left shoulder.
Personality: Snowleaf is a pretty reserved cat and tends to keep to herself. Although she is quiet and doesn't mind time spent alone, she is very kind and likes to get along with everyone. She is also loyal to anyone she considers her friend and is always there for them when they need her.
History: She was once a warrior, but when there was need for another medicine cat, she stepped up. She was always interested in herbs and healing, but since she had been pushed by her father into becoming a warrior, she hadn't pursued being a medicine cat until later with the encouragement from her mother.
Heritage: RiverClan (mother: Morninglight/deceased) and ThunderClan (Father: Loudstep/deceased) descendant.
Where This Cat is Most Often Found: If Snowleaf is not in the medicine den, you can most likely find her lounging in a tree, looking for herbs around the forest, or enjoying the water or the sounds of the river.

Duskpaw/10 moons/Apprentice/Bisexual/None
Description: Duskpaw is a large longhaired tortoiseshell and white molly with golden amber eyes. She has long whiskers and a dark pink nose.
Personality: Duskpaw is not a very social cat and doesn't like many cats. She is adventurous and smart, but is quick to resort to her claws to solve her problems. She enjoys battle and doesn't like to be messed with.
History: Born in OakClan to Littlestep (deceased) and Greyfoot.
Heritage: WindClan and ShadowClan
Where This Cat is Most Often Found: Either the shadow marsh or the laughing tree.
Greyfoot/50 moons/Warrior/Heterosexual/Former Names
Description: Greyfoot is a big short haired grey tom with pale green eyes.
Personality: He is charismatic and likes to joke around, but is serious when he needs to be. He also gets very upset whenever his late mate Littlestep is mentioned, but is open to finding another cat to love. He is a great hunter and is quick on his feet, but he doesn't enjoy battle. Although he doesn't like to fight, he will if it means protecting his clan and those he loves.
History: Had a mate named Littlestep, but she died while kitting. His daughter is Duskpaw.
Heritage: WindClan and ShadowClan
Where This Cat is Most Often Found: Hunting in the Wind plains or socializing in camp.
Genevieve/30 moons/Kittypet/Chosen/Heterosexual/None
Description: Genevieve is a purebred egyptian mau. She has silver fur with black spotted tabby markings and olive green eyes. She also wears a fake pearl collar with a shiny gold tag.
Personality: Being a spoiled, purebred kittypet, Genevieve was quick to think that she was much better than most cats. She has the ability to care for cats that she considers her friends, but is usually quick to throw them under the bus if it means saving her own fur. She has a sweet and innocent sounding voice which she often uses to persuade others.
History: Not much history other than living with rich twolegs.
Heritage: Purebred
Where This Cat is Most Often Found: She is usually in her house but she has figured out how to slip out of the cat door even if it is locked.
(I might add more cats later! Also if anyone wants to make a cat to be littermates with Duskpaw feel free! It would be cool to have siblings to rp with for her.)

Personality: Although quite clever, she is very distrustful and doesn't like socializing with anyone other than her sister. She usually comes across as very rude and sarcastic, although she is very kind if you earn her trust. Also somewhat aggressive.
History: She was found, skinny, malnourished, and riddled with scratch marks with her sister, Foxpaw when she was about 5 moons old.
Heritage: Possibly Skyclan-Rogue
Where This Cat is Most Often Found: In a shadowy corner of camp or in Thunder Forest

Description: Ginger she-cat with a white chest and stomach, as well as a white tip on her overly-fluffy tail. Leaf green eyes like her sister's. She has a scar running from her shoulder to her stomach on her left side.
Personality: Much like her sister, she is very distrustful and antisocial, but is not as rude and sarcastic when spoken to, making her seem more friendly.
History: When she and her sister were found, she had a gash on her side, which she still has a scar from. She was fed a bit better than her sister, but still malnourished.

Crookedstorm/72 moons/Warrior/Homosexual/Silverkit, Silverpaw, Silverstorm Description: Crookedstorm is a tall, lithely built, but muscular she cat. Her pelt is of a medium length and very dark grey with a few lighter hairs dotting her muzzle with age, and her eyes are a light, penetrating silver that seem to command even the unruliest kit's attention and respect. The bottom third of her tail is missing, and her right ear is severely shredded. A grisly scar runs from the corner of her mouth through/above her right eye (which has been scarred shut), drawing it up in a permanent half smirk. Her claws and canine teeth are quite long, protruding slightly from the tips of her paws and from beneath her upper lip, only just visible. Personality: Fiercely loyal, she is known to be a formidable opponent and possesses a natural sort of authority. Crookedstorm is quite serious and does not tolerate tomfoolery well, but has a soft-spot for kits and the capacity to be quite gentle and kind. Her biggest flaw is being too arrogant to ask for or accept help when needed, and she only does so begrudgingly. History (this is optional! Don’t feel the need to put one in if you can’t): A clan born cat, Crookedstorm grew up in Streamclan, an early offshoot of Riverclan, to two of Riverclan's former warriors. She became a rogue after a pack of dogs and their twolegs wiped out the camp, killed her female mate, and left her with the old wounds for which she was eventually named. A fierce devotee to the warrior code, Crookedstorm detested life as a rogue, and was quick to accept Acornheart's offer to join Oakclan, of which she has been a part for many moons. It feels almost creepy to me that there’s a chance this cat was impregnated as an apprentice. It’s in the rules that you can’t roleplay mates. Stormheart can be changed to not being Lilyfire’s mate, I don’t see how it would affect much things. Lilyfire is a good name, but it doesn’t follow the OakClan traditional naming system, where the prefix denotes how a cat looks and the suffix (from the list of specified suffixes and their meanings) says something about the cat itself. Lily- works as a prefix because lilies can be bright orange, but -fire doesn’t work as well due to reasons specified here on the traditional naming blog where I modeled the OakClan naming system from. Fireflower, Lilypelt, and Lilyheart I think could all work for your character, but I’m not quite sure. A slightest concern that’s not as important: I try to keep OakClan even in terms of male and female cats, but you have a 3:1 ratio. Perhaps you could make one of the kits male or make another male character? Again, not as important as my other concerns The passcode is in the rules on the traditional naming system, I think. EDIT: Oh, and sexuality isn’t specifying male or female- that can be stated in the description. It’s asking if your character is heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, etc |

lilykit It looks good, but I might change Lilyheart’s age to 18 moons if that’s okay with you due to her being in the nursery with kits so it doesn’t appear that she had them as an apprentice
