A Sister's Betrayal "Come on it will be fun. You want to be better then Berrypaw don't you?,"my sister mewed. The dark golden she-kit smiled,"She called you mouse ears,"she nudged me. I raised a paw up to my ears that's how I got my name Mousekit. My ears were bigger then most bigger then both my sisters. Why would Berrypaw call me that? I looked over seeing my youngest littermate curled up by our mother her tiny frail figure so fragile. I nodded,"Lets go,"turning back to look at her curling up. Darkness taking over my mind. Ever since that day I started to enjoy the dark forest. Sunpaw always by my side fighting and egging me on. "Come on Berrypaw laughed at you. She is getting better at fighting. She says you squeak like a mouse when you battle,"Sunpaw smirked. I slashed at my attacker. How dare Berrypaw say that behind my back! Little did I know Berrypaw had never said anything of the sorts. Sunpaw was only building up the darkness within myself. Using my insecurities as a way to eat at my light. The anger I felt towards my sister only grew and Sunpaw knew how to manipulate it. I never truly saw that darkness in my sister until we ended up killing our mother. Goldenfrost...the kind and loyal mother and warrior. Watching Sunpaw dig her claws into our mother without remorse the blood on her pelt shinning like the setting sun. I joined in the fight scared to die like my mother. I didn't want Sunpaw thinking I was backing out on her. She terrified me, how could I have not seen this darkness before? Watching my mother die was like losing a part of me. I could feel the kindness slip from my paws all the love my parents had for me. Gone. Returning back to camp I watched Berrypaw cry she laid her head on my shoulder shaking, she was an absolute wreak. And yet there I sat staring at my mother's fallen body the one I helped murder. I closed my eyes to keep myself from crying out that I had done it, I should be punished for it. But looking at Sunpaw I was terrified, she had direct contact to one of the most terrifying cats in the clan; Robinpaw. My pelt almost stood on end just thinking about it, being killed by her paws would be the worst way to go, but in the back of my mind that would have cleared all my sins. To be destroyed by the same darkness that over took me would be better but I didn't want to die. I kept training with Sunpaw. Never letting up continuing to hurt and attack without emotion. I felt cold inside. Adderstar and Robinstar gave us our full warrior names Sunflare to my sister and me. I received Mouseshade. I was exactly like my name. I was a pathetic little mouse with a shaded past and future. I had darkness inside and out and I couldn't be free from it. No matter what I did I always found a way to hurt the ones I love. I watched as Sunflare was taken out. She died fighting her teeth showing her claws outstretched and her eyes held the last burning fire that hid inside her frozen heart. Her last words were,"You have the darkness inside you that you can never shake. Its a part of you Mouseshade. I will be waiting for you in the dark forest where every traitor belongs,". I could feel the cold rush through my pelt she was right. No matter what I did I would always be a traitor. I deserved what was coming. When I die I will go to the dark forest. I will fade from the clans memory and disappear. I turned to fight beside my little sister Berrypaw's side, never leaving her side. She was my true sister. She had always been by my side protecting me even when I pushed her away. She was like mother so kind and gentle. She fought for justice and light even fighting to protect me. She had forgiven me even though I had not forgiven myself. When I stare at myself in the puddles I wonder what others think of me a traitor or someone willing to risk there life to protect the ones they love? I only hope the clan gives me a second chance. Berrypaw has...but will you?

The Cliff and the Owl Rest now my warrior Rest now your hardships is over Live....Wake Up. Wake Up. And let the cloak of life cling to your bones, cling to your bones Wake up. Wake up. Live....Wake Up. Wake Up. And let the cloak of life cling to your bones, cling to your bones Wake Up. Wake Up. Live....Wake up. Wake up. The Long Song-Rings of Akhaten (Doctor Who) _______________________________________________________________ I love him with all my heart. Not one day passes where I don't care for him, or want to fight for him. I stood by him when he first arrived at Shadowclan for I believed he was a great tom, so kind and loving. A cat I could see myself with for the rest of my life. But all he see's in himself is the evil that he is haunted with, a dark past he believes he can not shake. He feels as though he has failed but he has not the only one he has ever let down is himself. For always feeling as though he can not be anyone but this tom always fighting to keep himself from falling back into the darkness he once claimed to be his own. A shadow that trails behind him even as he walks in the light. Though what I see is a tom ready and willing to fight for justice and light one who would do anything to protect the ones he loves. The way he fought to protect the code and the way of life; he has claimed to never know, is the farthest thing from darkness. I only wish he could see it in himself to wake up, just wake up and open his eyes to life around him. His sister Spiritwhisper speaks straight from Starclan and yet she has never once doubted him for he has gotten over every hurdle thrown at him. He saw the light and what life could be like, and if Spiritwhisper can see it in him and can be in the same situation then he can overcome this final hurdle and wake up.

EARTHSTAR SPEAKS: The Great Escape I never expected my life to take such a turn. Sure, I knew my life would be full of hardships, but nothing to this extent. Let me begin. Everything went wrong when we were doubled ambushed by ShadowClan and ThunderClan. At the end, many cats were dead, injured, or scared. However, one cat didn't let this take over his dreadful ambitions - Adderbone, son of Blackadder. He went to speak with Rain and Blazepelt, our leader and deputy at that time. When he returned, they were gone, and the evil cat claimed that they had left, aiming to trick us all into obtaining leadership without problems. I kept quiet, knowing how he emitted a horrible, evil feeling to me. If I said my opinion, I'd be torn to shreds by his supporters. My Clanmates were blind to this however, and let him claim leadership and lead RiverClan to doom. Adderbone, now Adderstar, sensed that I didn't trust him. Aiming to obtain another supporter, he gave me the underaged apprentice Otterpaw for me to mentor. He is almost a warrior now, and I'm proud of him, despite facing the disappearance of his sister. Later, our leader brought SkyClan to our very own camp, merging us into AdderClan, ruling besides the leader Robinstar of SkyClan. I couldn't believe he'd do such a thing, but then again, the two leaders were both on the same page and even had kits. I can only hope those fox-hearts didn't rub off on them. After an argument with a mouse-brained cat named Nightfrost, my Clanmate Firetail gathered up a group of cats, including his mate Willowheart, the brave cats Fogstorm and Streampool, and Lilypetal. He told us his brilliant plan - we'd go to the border and flee without a trace. It was perfect, and so we went on with it. Little did everyone else know that we were escaping. We all arrived at the border, the coast clear, and fled. So we ran. We ran, even if our lungs screamed for air. None of us knew where we were going, but it didn't matter. Soon, my home- no, OUR home, was nothing but a distant memory. We didn't stop until we were flying past the border. We needed to be as far as possible from our territory, so when they realized we weren't coming back, we couldn't be found and killed by Adderstar's followers. However, it ended in tragedy. Some AdderClan cats noted us fleeing and chased us, another cat sending help. There was no way we'd make it now, I thought. Unbelievably, Lilypetal stopped running, facing the AdderClan cats to let us flee. By the noises we heard and from our experience, we knew she was gone. That night we sat vigil for her and her ultimate sacrifice. Eventually, we found ourselves in SkyClan's deserted land. Firetail insisted that we stay there until Adderstar is gone, but I disagreed. However, I had no choice, and we made ourselves a temporary den. There was plenty of prey, peace, and space. I was surprised that there were no curious loners poking around. A few days passed, and we woke to the unmistakable sound of fighting. At first, we thought that we were under attack, but after doing a quick check of our new "territory" we discovered that ThunderClan was in trouble! AdderClan had launched a raid on them after they refused to join with the evil conjoined Clan. Firetail, Willowheart and the rest of us decided to help, and allied with ThunderClan. I spotted Otterpaw alive and well in the fight as well. After this, we asked to join ThunderClan until this whole ordeal was over, and Lightningstar accepted, in debt of our help. We spent the next few moons in ThunderClan, doing our usual duties for them. During that time my kits Shellkit and Troutkit were born, kept safe in the nursery, away from the Dark Forest's propaganda with us. We were even allowed to use Sunningrocks! Later, we all moved to a temporary camp in Highstones, to be hidden from danger and to prepare for the final battle. I met up with Blazepelt there and was overjoyed at first, then devastated as he alerted me of Rain's death. Finally, moons later, the final battle was nearing. It was WindClan, ThunderClan, ShadowClan, and the good RiverClan and SkyClan cats versus the evil Dark Forest spirits and AdderClan. The battle seemed to last forever, and by the end I was very injured. I fought whoever was nearby, first Waspstrike. I got the upper hand and dealt the finishing blow, killing the apprentice warrior. "Earthheart watched Thrushpelt take on Cavernrock. He nodded to her/him and suddenly heard a yowl louder than the others. He scanned the area to find the source now that he wasn't fighting, and he pinpointed it. Northstar! Earthheart recognized her since she was the leader of ShadowClan. He knew she was in trouble the moment he saw Creeksplash and Waspstrike. There he is again. He will pay in blood this time. Earthheart vowed. He calculated exactly where to strike as he had the advantage. He pinpointed an opening and used the remainder of his strength to leap, his claws extended and aiming straight for Waspstrike's throat. Waspstrike hissed in frustration when Earthheart bowled him over, he opened his mouth to speak, but all that came out was the sound of his windpipe choking up. Alarm flared through him as he realized where Earthheart had him. He twisted and jolted trying to get the RiverClan tom to let go, hardly feeling the blood that ran from his neck. His mind was growing clouded as confusion flared through him, numbing the pain. He hit the ground one last time, his pale blue eyes staring at his father, lifeless and empty." Next, I spotted Northstar in danger - killed by Robinstar. I knew how risky my choices were. Either flee and let Northstar lose one too many lives, or help and risk my own. I made my choice, striking the leader as she was gloating over her victory, killed in one strike. "Earthheart let out a low growl angrily as Northstar fell. To flee to a safer place or to fight while Robinstar was off guard; that was Earthheart's choices. I already let Northstar die once. I'm not going to stand by if Northstar falls again. He got up from his position as fast as he could despite his injuries, and lunged at the evil she-cat once again, fury in his eyes. Robinstar chuckled,"Come back brave ShadowClan leader and face me. Why hide in the stars when the darkness is right here,"she laughed at her claws poking her fur laughing. As Earthheart launched, a smirk appeared on his face as he realized how foolish the leader was being. Enjoying your moment of glory, pathetic leader? Too bad I'm going to steal it away from you! He opened his jaws as he flew closer and closer to Robinstar. Robinstar snarled flicking her ears back,"I hear you,"she taunted her body turning to face Earthheart. Her eyes had a crazed look in them. She was out for blood and she needed it. Earthheart met her body with fury in every muscle in his pelt. He sank his already blood stained jaws from killing Waspstrike earlier into Robinstar's throat, closing as hard as he could force them to go with a grip like steel. This is for everything you have done to the Clans! Robinstar let out a blood curtling shriek as his claws dug into her. She started to wiggle and writhe in his grip, only making the wound worse and slashing at his face and muzzle to make him get off of her. Earthheart kept his jaws clamped and his claws tight, trying to ignore the pain of the scratches. However, his grip kept loosening, but he wasn't too worried as she was making the wound worse with her flailing. Hurry and wake up, Northstar! Robinstar gurgled, shoving at him. Darkness started to cover her vision and her flailing lessened as she weakened. She let out a hiss slashing at his face once more before going limp." Then, Northstar and I fought her, but I retreated as I suffered a bad injury. As I healed, I witnessed the death of Adderstar, his final life bleeding out in front of Blazepelt, the true leader of RiverClan. The battle was over. Robinstar was dead. AdderClan was finished. And I lived. Then, tragedy struck again. When Blazepelt went out to get his nine lives... he never returned. Me and some others volunteered to search for him after the nearby gathering, but I never expected the Clan to dump it in my paws. Nervously I led my Clan to Fourtrees and stood among the other leaders, alerting them of the situation. I had done my job. Was I done? Of course not. I searched for Blazepelt to no avail, resorting to the Moonstone for guidance. Rain accompanied me and told me something that I somehow expected... that I was to be RiverClan's next leader. With her help, I convinced my Clanmates that I was taking RiverClan into good paws, unlike the selfish evil ones of Adderstar. And with my destiny I took her kits, and everything was right again. Now I live back in the safety of RiverClan, rid of evil. The only quarrels are over Sunningrocks, and each day we recover more and more. That is the end of my tale. Go home safe, kits. There is no evil to plague you.

Short Stories from Loneh The Shaded Mouse: Thunderclan attack! The command was shouted above the roar of the water. My eyes narrowed the smell of fish hung in my nose. Rushing forward my claws met the slimy pelt of a fish faced Riverclan warrior. Claws raking into his pelt, oh how good it was to fight again. To feel blood spilling on my paws. I shook my head no I couldn't think like that, I wasn't dark. I had Nightfang now...I had kits of my own. My own little balls of light. Sending the Riverclan tom packing I looked around my mouse like ears perked up screaming reached my ears and I turned. My sister was pinned by Jaguarpaw. Robinstar's and Adderstar's blood thirsty daughter. Paws ready to strike Berryfrost down. I couldn't let something happen to her. Rushing over in a fury of claws and fur. Dark black fur and ginger shinning in the setting sun. Mouseshade looked up how was the apprentice so strong? Her eyes narrowed how could she have been so mouse brained of course her parents were training her. Before she could move silver blades cut through her. She gasped crimson drops reflecting in her eyes. Screaming echoed behind her, she knew it was Berryfrost. She closed her eyes the world going dark. Her kits had there father. She felt herself grow cold opening her eyes to silver stars, starclan had welcomed her home after all. Never fading Aura: "Its just the thunderpath. We wont cross it unless needed too,"I spoke. The roar of monsters racing past. The blind she-cat stood firm. She couldn't see them but she could feel it. She turned her face scenting the air and let out a hiss something was off. She turned hearing her apprentice speak out,"There is a kit on the thunderpath!,"she shouted. Aurablaze could feel the roar of an oncoming monster. She tensed ready to sprint forward when her apprentice lept past her. She felt a cold breeze across her muzzle. She flicked her ears hearing the kit squeal. She waited for a few moments,"Are you coming? Hurry up!,"she shouted. The monster grew closer and she leapt onto the thunderpath racing towards the scent of her apprentice shoving her out of the way. Her fur ruffled as a sound of screeching could be heard. She started forward but it was too late. The already dark world faded as the sounds of her apprentice crying could be heard. The Eagle's Talon: "Rats! Get out of camp!,"he shouted. Helping the queens out of the nursery. His fur ruffled as he scented the air they were getting closer to camp. He didn't understand why would they come here? He nuzzled his mate,"I will be right there,"he mewed softly licking her cheek watching her flee with his kits. He would see them again he let out a gasp as a rat landed on his back. He flipped over pinning it underneath him. Standing up he saw what the clan was truly up against. Rats flooded into camp, a huge wave seemed to crash against him and he went under. Sharp teeth piercing through his fur and he let out a yowl. He fought against them with tooth and claw, he had to see his mate again. His heart shuddered in his chest as his life flashed before him. His eyes grew misty with tears and they clouded over,"Brightmask...,"he whispered through his last breath. The Wilted Rose: Roseleaf sat in the elders den her fur old and tattered as she watched the cats around her. Her kits grown up and having kits of there own. She couldn't help but show a smile. She stood up her old bones seemed to protest with her standing, creaking and popping with every move. She laid back down and sighed softly watching those she loved curling up in her nest and closing her eyes. She rememebered the days when she had been made a warrior...meeting Falcontalon. There beautiful kits. Not a day went by where she didn't feel needed. Her body shuddered a bit she opened her eyes to see a starry figure by her side. Her mother Redleaf whom she was named after,"Mother...,"she whispered. The red she-cat nuzzled her daughter,"Its time to go,"she whispered softly,"Starclan is calling,"she mewed. The red and white she-cat felt herself rise. The two silver frosted cats walked out of the den stars thrown with each step. The Haunted Storm: Stormfire let out a shriek of pain. Her eyes were open and in pain. Voice echoed around her. She closed her eyes letting out a whimper she knew having kits would hurt but not this much. She opened her eyes once more spotting her mate, oh Hailstorm....how she loved his so much. She flattened her ears letting out a mew of pain. She looked over her body let out a spasam and she sank her claws into the ground,"Come on you can do it,"she could hear her mate mew in her ear. She let out a pant unable to speak because of the pain. She could see Snowdance working and helping but she knew something was wrong, she could feel herself growing weaker. Her body hurt and was growing cold,"How many?,"she managed to speak out. She could barely hear Hailstorm as he spoke,"Three...two toms and a she-cat,"he spoke,"There beautiful like there mother,"he nosed her. Stormfire smiled softly before letting her head fall to the ground her breathing slowed, "Beautiful....,"she whispered the light faded from her eyes. She could hear her kits mewing loudly echoing in her ears as she faded away. She opened her eyes to see the stars around her, had Starclan opened up there paws to her? She wasn't in the darkness anymore she turned to watch the cats below, she was light. Written by Lonespirit/Jewelspirit

Earthstar's Nine Lives (copied and pasted pretty much word for word from the RP) Earthheart stirred, opening his eyes. He did not remember where he was until he saw Rain. "Rain, good to see you again," he said, standing up and dipping his head to the previous leader. "Welcome back Earthheart," Rain meowed pleasantly, shifting her gaze from the sky to him. "I saw you encountered some trouble relaying the news to RiverClan. I hope I provided enough signs to prove your leadership." "You did that?" Earthheart said with shock. "...Thank you. I couldn't have convinced them otherwise." he meowed. Rain nodded, "RiverClan is rather stubborn, but they're good cats. It just takes them a bit longer to get used to change." "Are you ready to receive your lives, Earthheart?" "Yes." Earthheart said, determined. He glanced around past Rain, looking for anyone who may be giving him his lives. Quietcreek was the first to appear on the edges of the starry night. He walked toward Earthheart silently, star floating off his pelt and onto the ground. He was a small cat with unusually large eyes, which he used to gaze at Earthheart, reflecting the stars in the sky behind him. "Earthheart, I am Quietcreek, medicine cat from before you were born. I'm here to give you your first life." He waited for a nod from Earthheart before touching his nose, craning his neck to reach him. "With this life I give you wisdom, may you use it well to make decisions for the best of RiverClan and guide with knowledge." Earthheart had never seen this cat before. He nodded in understanding, touching the medicine cat's nose. Suddenly, his head began to hurt, seeming to rapidly fill itself with information that would last the tom nine lifetimes. He shook his head with pain, but it all ended after a few moments. "Thank you," he bowed his head. He already felt like a leader, like he didn't need the other eight. He calmly awaited the next life. A dark black tom stood up next walking forward his eyes shined his paw steps throwing frost as he walked, "Earthheart it's nice to finally met you. I died before the great battle started," he spoke standing in front of the tom,"I am Rushfeather, I was on my way back to RiverClan after visiting my mate when I died. I would have done anything to protect the ones I cared and loved for. I am here to give you the life of love. To love all your clanmates no matter what they have done. Love is strength that RiverClan needs. May you use this life well to guide the Clan," he touched his nose to Earthheart's. Earthheart recieved the life and let out a screech of pain. Not many cats knew that love could be fierce. He dug his claws into the ground, thinking of his kits and his parents Runningsplash and Cottonheart. I love them. I will love the Clan as if they were my own as well. With no strength to speak as he was recovering, he simply bowed his head. Once Rushfeather had fallen back in line a young tom stepped forward. He had a light brown pelt and silver streaks that seemed to mimic the pattern of Streampool back in camp. When he reached Earthheart he dipped his head in respect, "I had died before your time." he mewed calmly, his blue eyes almost seemed sad, "My name is Creekpaw, Streampool was my sister." he paused and looked Earthheart in the eye, "With this life I give you the gift of mentoring, to teach the young and inexperienced so they may grow in skill and wisdom." Closing his eyes Creekpaw pressed his nose against Earthheart's. Earthheart knew that something terrible had happened to this apprentice. He heard stories about him when he was a kit, of the mysterious apprentice that went missing. He recieved the life without a word and felt energized. Earthheart felt like getting up, running to camp, and training cats to be the best warriors they could ever be. "Thank you. You will never be forgotten." He called out. Creekpaw flicked his ear and dipped his head to the new leader. Without a word he turned back toward the line of cats. Earthheart watched the apprentice leave, blinking slowly. There were still six to go, but it felt like it had been so long already. The next cat to step forward was a slim blue-gray she-cat with sparkling blue eyes. She purred when she reached Earthheart, "It is a good day for RiverClan." She mewed kindly, "Earthheart with this life I give you forgiveness and compassion. May you see past the crimes and mistakes of others and welcome them with forgiveness." she paused and it seemed her eyes grew distant, "As I have forgiven my mate and my son." without another word she pressed her nose to Earthheart's. Earthheart's heart stung with grief when he saw the familiar she-cat. "Poolfrost... Everyone has missed you." he said sadly. He quivered from the life, imagining himself standing over all the cats that caused trouble, like Fishdive and Eveningclaw. Will I ever forgive them? This life will teach me. "Goodbye and thank you!" Earthheart told her, no longer sad. "Take care of my sisters, my kits, and my grandkits." Poolfrost dipped her head, before she stepped back toward the line of cats. Earthheart shook his pelt, sitting down and waiting for his 5th life. Lilypetal stepped forward again "Good to see you again Earthheart." She mewed, before touching her nose to the top of his head "With this life I give you courage, you must do what is necessary to protect your clan and never back down when an enemy has challenged you in battle. Use it well." "You gave your life for my Clanmates, and we will forever be in debt to you." Earthheart told the she-cat. He recieved the life, and he was thrown into a battle, leading his Clanmates against his enemy. Now he had to courage to get through anything. As Lilypetal stepped back Rosekit stepped forward, "I don't know if you know me or not, I am Echosplash's daughter, Stormsplash and Tinypool's sister. I died of greencough before I two moons old." The kit reached up as far as she could, touching her nose to chest. "With this life, I give you justice, when cats break the code, judge them fairly. Fight for the justice of all the cats who have been wronged." She stepped back again after the life "Watch over my family please," the tiny she-cat mewed. "Echosplash and my littermates are still grieving Lilypetal's death, as well as Dawnpaw's and my own." Rage flared through Earthheart as the life went into him. Justice was to be served, and he needed to do so. He closed his eyes trying to resist the feeling, nodding as it went away. Another cat appeared in the clearing, his pelt light grey and speckled with stars. His eyes were gleaming with energy and happiness. He bounded forward towards Earthheart."Earthheart, I am Stonestar, leader before Rain. I was killed by Blackadder in his plot to take over RiverClan. But that's in the past now. You have fought bravely against those who opposed StarClan and your loyalty to RiverClan cannot be questioned. With this life, I give you farsightedness. Use it well to plan ahead or the sake of your Clan and always be one step ahead of your enemies," he meowed energetically, eagerly, perhaps too forcefully, touching his nose. Earthheart bowed his head. This was someone he had not expected to see at all. "I have heard much of you," he meowed. "Especially as a kit. I looked up to you. And look where I am now." His eyes glimmered. He was pushed back as Stonestar gave him the life, and Earthheart was pulled into yet another vision of him on the reed rock, leading his Clan. From now on, every action, every opinion would affect his Clan forever. "Thank you," he said to the leader, bowing his head again. After Stonestar went to the others, a small, skinny white cat with black spots appeared next. Any ordinary Clan cat would think he was a WindClan warrior. His light blue eyes glowed with pride as he approached Earthheart, his son. "R-Runningsplash..." Earthheart studdered. "No, it's fine," Runningsplash meowed, flicking his tail over Earthheart's mouth, somehow silencing him. "You don't need to say anything. I am here to give you your eighth life." Earthheart simply nodded. "I give you a life for strength. Use it well to protect your Clanmates from the most dangerous invasion to the biggest badger. While strength comes from the mind as well, don't forget that your physical skills are important as well." Earthheart's muscles tensed as the life went through him. He puffed up and tensed, trying to handle all the energy coursing through his body. He shook as the feeling receded. "I will speak to you often!" He promised his father. Runningsplash curtly nodded. "Indeed. And don't forgot how infinitely proud Cottonheart and I are of you." He meowed, going to sit next to Stonestar. There is one life left, and then I will be Earthstar, he thought to himself, prepared. Rain watched the father and on exchange and purred. Runningsplash was so proud of his son she could almost feel his pride radiating off of his pelt. She approached Earthheart slowly staring at him like she was sizing him up. "I made a good choice in naming you leader Earthheart," she meowed contently. A pang in her heart reminded her that she could have been giving this life to Blazepelt and her face fell into sadness. All she had wanted was to spend eternity with her love but even in death they were separate. "I have one favor to ask of you my friend," Rain said sadly, thinking of her deputy. "Blazepelt and I were never- well you see-uh, we were never together per say, but I think deep down we knew we loved each other. As a gift from StarClan, I was given our kits. I want them to be raised as RiverClan cats," she explained rather awkwardly, flicking her tail. Beside her, two kits appeared one light brown tabby with white spots, like a mixture of Rain and Blazepelt, and the other was grey and white spotted. "Their names are Fawnkit and Haven," she purred gently licking their heads. "I'd appreciate it if her name stayed Haven." She glanced up at the tom, worried. "You'll take them right?" Eaethheart smiled seeing Rain again, which turned into a frown as she talked about Blazepelt. His frown soon turned into a gaping hole. He had no clue what to say. "I..." He started. "Yes! Of course!" Earthheart said. "I will protect and welcome these kits, and so will RiverClan." He vowed. "I will keep their names the same." Earthheart meowed. "Blazepelt will be proud, wherever he is..." He said sadly. Relief flooded Rain, "Thank you Earthheart thank you so much." She bent to her kits and whispered a few things in their ears before they faded away. "They'll be next to you when you wake up." "Now for your final life," she meowed standing up straighter. "With this life I give you loyalty. Use it to always stay true to RiverClan and protect your clanmates with your life. But also, remain loyal to yourself Earthheart. Don't let them tell you what you can or can't be. Be true to yourself and the rest will follow. Trust me," she said with a glint in her eyes. She touched his nose for his last life. Earthheart shook with the power of this life. He gripped the grass in pain. Loyalty was a powerful thing. There was no doubting that. He looking at Rain sincerely. "Thank you so much. I will take care of your kits." "Thank you Earthheart." she whispered his name for the last time before stepping back to join the ranks of the other Starclan cats. "I hail you by your new name, Earthstar. Your old life is no more. You have now received the nine lives of a leader, and StarClan grants you the guardianship of RiverClan. Defend it well; care for young and old; honor your ancestors and the traditions of the warrior; live each life with loyalty and determination!" Earthstar basked in the cheers of the StarClan cats. I am Earthstar now. He thought. "It's time to go home," he told Rain and all the other cats, blinking and awakening at the Moonstone.

Rubycloud's Secret: Love and Loss. She was born rebellious, a contrast to the strict loyalty and dedication that her home clan was known for. Anyone could ask her what she wanted to be when she got older, but nobody expected an answer like hers. She wanted to be a legacy, a legend. Not simply a warrior, but a valiant warrior, and a family to tell her adventures to. Kittens to love and to urge to live like she had. Wild and adventurous, daring and bold, yet graceful and sharp. Her tongue stung like an adder-bite, yet sung with the song of a thousand blooming lilies She was the epitome of freedom. Nothing stood in her way.
Her mother named her Rubykit for the ginger splotches that covered her light golden-brown fur, and her sparkling eyes. They shone with a stunning blue, a contrast to her deep and dull splashes of colorful ginger on her fur. She yearned for the gentle praise of her mother, the adoring gazes of her father. She was the only she-kit in her litter after all.
Her brother's name was Coalkit, and Rubycloud understood after a while that he was named this for the dark black specks on his own silver pelt, and the dull dark blue eyes that seemed to still glow when looked at long enough. Coalkit was her best friend, her partner in crime and her guide in battle and adventure. He was so smart, so so smart, and kind too. Soft spoken and shy, but brave in his own special little way. And it was he who kept Rubycloud out of most dangers, helping her to both live her dreams and survive them as well.
So as she grew to become an apprentice, she kept at his side, well, he kept at hers. They had each other forever, and they had each other when their father died in battle the third moon of their apprenticeship. They had each other when their mother had gone missing, only to be found near Carrionplace, a victim to the unforgiving rats that lurked in the acrid shadows and rotten twoleg filth. They had each other in all their battles as they got used to being warriors.
She had nobody when Coalspots leaped in front of her that day, shielding her body with his bigger one as the fox snapped its jaws on his shoulder, then his neck, all before she had the chance to finally fight back, screeching with such horror and hatred that the skinny yet deadly fox thought better than to continue. The patrol came too late that day, and Rubycloud watched her brother turn from black and silver to black and red. She didn't sleep that night. It was so cold that night. The nest was so empty that night.
Coalspots was the only tom she had loved, her father too aggressive in battle to give her a lot of her kit-hood memories, even when he had spoke so highly of her at first. Rubycloud knew sacrifice, she was saved by sacrifice, built by the cut and sting of horrid sacrifice. She hated it, and yet she knew that she would sacrifice as well.
She was loud, talking to anyone who dared to stay around such a loud and bright voice. This was Shadowclan after all, discipline was known here, quiet power preferred over loud energy any day. So she never found love there. No tom looked at her like they looked at the others, the quiet, stoic others. Beauty in silence, they'd say.
She came to hate her clan and love it at the same time. She was unique here, and she was no doubt skillful in hunting. She loved her clan, but she hated her clanmates. Most of them at least. They never understood her like Coalspots did. Never loved her like her brother did. Never allowed her to be free. So she talked and talked. She punished her clanmates for her loneliness, and perhaps it was her immaturity that clouded her judgement as she took a walk that day.
The new leader was a popular one, an older she-cat that rippled with dark fur, white starry forehead and lovely feminine strength. She was truly deserving of the name Northstar. She was loved, indeed. One could say Rubycloud was envious. She had so much, a whole clan at her paws, a mate to have. And beauty as well. In a spark of kit-like anger, she decided that she disliked this leader, and would refrain from talking to her.
So she went along with her lonely life, frightening her potential love interests with her loud voice and laugh that hid her seething rage and empty heart. All she wanted, needed, was love. As her clanmates got older with kits of their own, the adventurous she-cat lost faith in love, and padded about, no longer bursting with her born energy and love for adventure.
Everything changed when she met him.
He was beautiful, different than any cat she had ever met. A glowing golden brown coat with white paws and a white spot on his chest. It was his ears that attracted her, curled back like a burning leaves, and his tail, an adorable tuft of fur that wiggled with greeting. His voice was smooth, but full of youth and energy, like her's had been. The first words he spoke were "I was looking for a mouse, but I think I found something much better...My name's Grizzley!"
She should have chased him off, should have defended her clan with tooth and claw, stood up for the Shadowclan name. He was just a smelly rouge. A beautiful...energetic...smelly tom! And she suddenly realized that there was no point.
She didn't care anymore. Not for Shadowclan, not for rules or codes. She longed to be free, to be happy and loved. So she replied right away, no fear, never any fear.
"And I was looking for a handsome tom to talk to. I came to the right place. Rubycloud, I'm Rubycloud." The light in his eyes lit up her heart again, and she realized that he cared...
- - - - - -
It was never supposed to turn up like this. She was such a fool, such a fool for thinking she could pretend that a clan cat was to charge for her pregnancy. A queen never had to tell which tom in the clan was the father of her kits, but she knew that rule didn't apply to rouges.
Especially now. The medicine cat stared wide-eyed at these abominations of kits, his head tipping as he noted curled ears and barely there stubs for tails. Rubycloud hid her mortification, her pain laced body now cold with fear. Oh no no no. Of course it was a dominant trait! What tom had the ears and tail like this?! So she lied, like she had for the past moons.
"It probably runs in the family, I remember my mother telling me that her kin had short tails. They must have had curled ears too!" She explained, but knew that Frostshard knew much better. So he simply shook his head, but nobody argued when he said they were just deformed genes, bad eggs and different kittens.
She suspected many cats knew that she did the awful deed of betrayal, but she didn't care what happened. If she got banished, so be it. Grizzly was there, and he already offered to run away with her. He even stated that Starclan was such a believable idea. She got him to believe, and that made her feel wonderful, because even in death they would be together.
Banishment never came, but anger and turmoil did as Northstar attempted to scold her, and suddenly she screamed her fury, unleashing her hatred of such quiet and stern clanmates, of the lack of adventure and love and all the scorn she had received from her clan for her yearning for the love she had lost when her brother had died. She screamed her pain, told the leader to get out of the nursery, to live life with her precious friends and her loving clan.
It was that night that she felt so empty, as she stared down at the big ball of golden fur, fur that tinted like his father's. Her first son was a big one, and Rubycloud knew he would have a big heart too. Her other kitten was so tiny, and she had feared that he would not survive the first night. But the little silver dappled tomkit was so energetic, shoving his big brother out of the way as he fed. Surprisingly, the bigger kit let him by, gentle and soft.
She named him Goldkit, for his heart and his fur, and for the one of a kind personality he was born with. He was truly made of gold.
She named the other Lynxkit, for his fierce energy and power, and for the exotic dapples that coated his silver pelt. He was born brave, a Lynx among Cats.
She loved her sons more than she loved anything or anyone in her life. Every word, every action, it was done for them. She spun them tales of adventure with the beautiful tom that stole her heart, and of the brightness of the world beyond the chokehold that was Shadowclan. She sung to them, upbeat songs in which they pranced around singing along, Goldkit humming and Lynxkit singing with a rough yet lovely voice so full of joy.
When she'd feel lonely, her kittens would curl up to her, telling her how she was their hero, how Lynxkit wanted to hunt and fight by her side, and how Goldkit promised to be as kind as her and love her until she was too old to understand love like she used to. And she would laugh brightly those days and sleep without sadness. In those days, she felt like an apprentice again, giggling with Coalspots in the apprentice's den. She didn't need anything else but this.
So when a cat tried to speak to her, Rubycloud would hold her sons close, speak with ice in her voice. Nobody deserved the warmth she had anymore but her sons, and she felt no remorse as she distanced herself from her clanmates.
As her sons grew into fine young toms, she would burst with pride at every chance she could fine. Goldpaw's first catch, Lynxpaw's first spar victory, she would nestle all her love and joy into them, reminding them that mother was there, mother loves you so much. She would threaten any cat that judged her kittens based on their lack of normality, and lack of father. She tolerated no discrimination around her sons, and she always meant her threats.
Once a moon she would wake her sons up in the middle of the night and lead them down the unworn path past the edge of the territory, and they would greet their father with awe and respect. They would spend hours telling stories and attempting to prove themselves to their father. Grizzley always was there on time to welcome his family, but he never joined the clan, and Rubycloud never asked him to. It was not a place she wanted a tom as magnificent as him. These nights were perfect for Rubycloud. Always perfect.
As time passed on, Rubycloud knew that she couldn't keep pushing her clan away like this. She grew up here, lived here, raised her sons here. And after many nights of arguing with herself, she admitted that Northstar had let her and her illegitimate sons stay in the clan, where there was always food and support. Lynxpaw and Goldpaw made many friends, Spiderpaw and Crowpaw and Pinepaw. Lilacbreeze was so kind to her, and Lionshade had always been a friend. So she liked Spiderpaw around her sons. The she-cat was free spirited and powerful. So perhaps it was time that Rubycloud gave back.
She hunted, she cleaned, she fit herself back into the clan, regained trust with the cats she had pushed away, apologized to Northstar, even though she knew her sins were deep in the clan. Rubycloud felt happy in her clan, even happier when she visited Grizzley. Everything was so...wonderful.
So when the squabble started, and the fox snapped heavy teeth and angry jaws, Rubycloud knew she was going to sacrifice like Coalspots had. Hm, perhaps it was even the same fox. And the scene played out so familiarly, and blood sprayed so brightly on the marshy grass, just like it had that day.
Leaping in front of Northstar was her last promise, her last worry, her last roar of battle and her last step on her winding journey of life. She felt calm when pain ripped at her body, and while she didn't perish right away, she didn't have enough blood or energy to have even a chance of living. Northstar cried at her this time, and Rubycloud listened this time.
But it was when golden-brown flashed into her vision, desperate blue eyes swam near her own eyes, did she finally croak out some words. And as he called for his mother, Rubycloud weakly pulled him close with a paw, and told him
"Watch your brother. He was always small...and reckless. And you keep that beautiful heart of yours. You're good, so good..." She took a shaky breath, proud of how Goldpaw was keeping himself strong at this time. She knew he'd be coming home with the patrol that carried his dead mother back to camp, she knew that Lynxpaw would scream, but Goldpaw would keep him safe and calm his fears.
She sang lightly, and he hummed with her, until she could sing no more. The world went dark, and once again, Rubycloud was free.
She was free and now the world was bright. Coalspots was the first she saw, and just the sight of him made her feel better about leaving her kits so soon.
And as she embraced her brother, her best friend, she gazed at the wide world around her. She would be free here, and she would run and hunt and explore like she always wanted.
And she'd watch her toms until they joined her. Her mate and her sons. In that moment, she realized she was home.
And she regretted nothing.

THE STORY OF NIGHTSHADES FALL AND RISE! A ROUGE BORN SHADOWCLAN WARRIOR..
hello, my name is nightshade. It's been a very long time since I passed on to starclan, and my path to it was a shakey one... You see when I was younger I had started trouble in the clans. I thought these clans were greedy and only to themselves, I took it on my shoulders to find other rouges and organize them, from riverclan to thunderclan I spread the carrion disease with dead rats, poisoning the waters and mixing there border lines in a attempt to cause a war. But fortunately my past self had bite off to much to chew when my rouges claimed sunning rocks, it was at one late night, the clans United and ambushed I, the sunning rocks were filled with screeches and blood from all sides...
when it ended I was captured by moostars finest warriors, at the cost of one of her lives sadly. And yet shadowclans, my, leader showed me mercy. She could of killed me and no one would of blamed her... I was ready for it, and still I was spared. I never believed in starclan my whole life, I'd survived by the grit of my teeth and will alone, but because of shadowclan I learned what it truely meant to live as a warrior.. And soon finding myself wanting to be just like them.
so, I worked moon after countless moon to clear my name while I was forced to live in the prisoners den intill I was actually alowed to be a clan member. even when called a rouge by some of my clanmates I did what I was good at, grit my teeth and push forward. My history lingering still, I'd made enemies and rivals, the biggest one was a certain Tom... Just saying his name I... It was jaggedclaw. I'll never admit it but I wanted to be his equal in the clans eyes, a true warrior. Haunted by my past murder, I vowed to never kill again and soon found myself apart of a family, friends and a loving mate. This is where I rap of my life's story as a rouge born, I passed on in a battle with my clan, protecting every one I could, taking on any of there pain to me only made me happy. I myself find this moment... Hazy, if I remember right, I died taking on a blow for someone.. My leader maybe..
...if you've stayed this long And listened to my story I thank you. and if your shadowclan members, look to the trees, those claw marks in camp are mine. I challenge Anyone to become stronger, make a rival, have courage to stand for what you believe in no matter what... And thank you for listening…

Estella-stronger then you ( Northstar vs Blackadder )
This is Northstar Back together *on the rocks, face to face with the vile cat*
And I'm never going down at the paws of the likes of you
Because I'm so much better And every part of me is saying "Go get 'em."
We ain't gonna follow your rules.
Come at me without any of your fancy fools. *they circle each other, claws ready*
Let's go, just Me and you.
Let's go, let the air get chiller, let's go dirty cat killer. *blackadder leaps*
Go ahead and try to hit me if you're able.
Can't you see that my relationship is stable?
I can see you hate the way we intermingle. *north dodges blow after blow, angering him*
But I think you're just mad 'cause you're single. * dodges once more and sweeps him off his paws*
You're not gonna stop what we've made together. * they trade blows*
We are gonna stay like this forever.
If you break us apart we'll just come back better.* north is battered and knocked on her side, added striking down, missing.*
And we'll always be twice the warrior that you are.
I am made o-o-o-o-of Lo-o-o-o-ove o-o-o-o-of Lo-o-o-o-ove
Lo-o-o-o-ove Lo-o-o-o-ove
Mm mm mm mm mm. *north about to be struck off the Boulder, but darkshadow and dappleleaf form and protect her, her parents. He steps back, shocked*
This is who we are. This is who I am. * gets to her paws, bleeding but grinning*
And if you think you can stop me Then you need to think again. * the three work together, swiping at him as he blindly attacks north.*
'Cause I have a feeling
And We will never end.
And I won't let you hurt my clan, I won't let you hurt my friends. * the three knock him down, looming over the vile cat*
Go ahead and try to hit me if you're able.*cowardly goes for a cheap blow, fails*
Can't you see that our relationship is stable.
I know you think I'm not somethin' you're afraid of.
'Cause you think that you've seen what I'm made of. * adder shakily stands and goes for the death blow, growling with hate*
But I am even more than the two of them.
Everything they care about is what I am.
I am their fury.
I am their patience.
*his attack failed, the three strike together, landing a deep blow.*
I am a conversation...
I am made O-o-o-o-of Lo-o-o-o-ove o-o-o-o-of
And it's stronger than you. *watches adders life fade*
Lo-o-o-o-ove o-o-o-o-of Lo-o-o-o-ove
And it's stronger than you.
O-o-o-o-of Lo-o-o-o-ove o-o-o-o-of
*Norths starclan family fades away*
And it's stronger than you.
O-o-o-o-of Lo-o-o-o-ove lo-o-o-o-ove
*the clans cheer*

Slatesight: Medicine Cat at Heart
"Wow! This kit's a fighter!"
"Look! He's a warrior already!"
"Can't wait to be a warrior, eh, Slatekit?"
These comments have followed me all my life, like a mouse scuttling in the darkness. I am now Slatesight, and I am a medicine cat under my mentor Peachdapple. According to my Clanmates, if I can even call some of them that, I'm supposed to be a warrior since I'm big. Then why is Peachdapple a medicine cat when her heart yearns to be a warrior and anyone could assume otherwise just by looking at her?
I've never liked fighting. We all quarrel over the silliest things here in ThunderClan. Losing lives over a bunch of boulders? Granted, they do feel nice to lay on, but is it worth sending cats to StarClan just to take a nap? At least there's some sense in fighting over stolen prey in leaf-bare, and at least I made no move to leave, to become a mangy rogue roaming twolegplace or a kittypet laying in the lap of a Twoleg.
It wasn't until I was five moons old that I decided that I wanted to be a medicine cat. I had always watched Peachdapple treat injured cats while my denmates played, and I found it fascinating. And so I ignored my Clanmates' wishes, followed my heart and asked Lightningstar if I could try it out.
Then the insults began. Nobody seemed to respect my decision except for Peachdapple herself and my parents. I was called so many things; "wasted potential" mostly. Peachdapple taught me to ignore them, however, and so I have ever since. And, surprise surprise, I seem to be doing pretty good at being a medicine cat!
Peachdapple and I get closer every day. She's a great mentor, and very interesting to learn from. I just wish that she'd give me a little more freedom- no, I don't want to stay in the den all day! I don't care if it's raining! Even now as a full medicine cat, she still restricts me from going out on my own.
That's pretty much the gist of my life so far. Are you satisfied with what I told you? Perhaps I've inspired you to become a medicine cat as well? Maybe, just maybe one day I'll finally be able to prove to my Clanmates that in my heart I am not a warrior, but a medicine cat.
