((Hello, Milk! I need to get my LilyClan cats done...)) Ivypaw was still bouncing a bit in excitement, even more excited now that Pigeonpaw was also excited, but then she calmed down for a moment at her friend's question. "Umm... I didn't ask. Beechblaze just said we were training together and I was too excited to tell you to actually wait and listen to what we were doing..." She frowned, her excitement calming down for a moment, before she perked up once more. "But it'll be fun no matter what!" She looked over at Beetlepaw and figured that the shy apprentice should definitely join in on all the excitement. "All three of us are going training together!" She told him with a purr. Ivypaw was always a little bit scared about scaring Beetlepaw, so she was a bit more calm when speaking to him.
"Uh, cool," Beetlepaw replied, blinking slowly as he looked between Ivypaw and Pigeonpaw. Is this what they were so excited about? I guess it is the first time we'll get to train with Ivypaw, he thought to himself, but really that seemed more a cause for anxiety than excitement. She was ahead of them in her training, after all- not by much, but enough that she must be better at most things, right? Plus she was so... loud, and energetic. And the normally-lazy Pigeonpaw always seemed more excitable around her too. I'm sure it will be fun, the black tom reassured himself, backing out of the den. He wondered what it was they would be training for; in his nervousness he had completely forgotten to ask either of the she-cats, and he was too sheepish to go back and do so now. Instead, he looked around the camp for his mentor, Falconstorm. He saw him sitting with Thornstar on the other side of camp, and hesitated before padding over slowly. Though he had trained with him a few times- after all, he was Pigeonpaw's mentor- the fact that he was Clan leader still intimidated Beetlepaw.
"Thornstar, Falconstorm," the young tom meowed respectfully, dipping his head to the two in greeting. "Ivypaw said that she, Pigeonpaw, and I are going to train together today? She didn't say what we're doing, though."
----------
Pigeonpaw rolled her eyes as Beetlepaw backed back out of the den. He was always so awkward and weird.... she wondered why Ivypaw would be at all excited about training with him too. Pretending he hadn't ever come in, she turned back to Ivypaw. "Yeah, I'm sure it'll be great! You can show me all the battle moves that Thornstar hasn't taught me yet," she teased, giving Ivypaw a nudged. "If we're doing battle training, I guess," she added with a frown. "I guess we really should find out what it is we're doing."

((I possibly could, Milk. =3))
"Beetlepaw." Falconstorm said in greeting, but didn't look at the young tom. He didn't much like the apprentice -- he was too shy, too filled with anxiety. The complete opposite of Falconstorm and in his opinion, Beetlepaw would make a horrible warrior. Why Thornstar had chosen Falconstorm to mentor Beetlepaw was beyond his understanding. It wasn't like he could impress his confidence upon the young tom, nor did he want to.
"We are training together." Thornstar confirmed. He stood up and stretched for a moment before continuing to speak since it was evident that Falconstorm was not interested in talking with Beetlepaw. "We figured that we would practice some battle moves. Maybe Ivypaw can teach you and Pigeonpaw a thing or two since she is farther along in her training." He explained. That had been the plan, anyway. And afterwards, if they had time, perhaps they would do some hunting. The Clan could always use more food.
--
"Yeah!" Ivypaw lit back up to her normal, overly excited self after Beetlepaw had backed out of the den. She wondered why he always looked so uncomfortable. She wanted to befriend the tom (because more friends was always better), but it seemed like all Ivypaw ever did was make him uncomfortable. She shrugged it off, and joined in on Pigeonpaw's excitement. "I'll teach you everything we know. I hope we're doing battle training." Ivypaw wanted nothing more than to get involved in her first border skirmish. "You wanna go out there and we can find out what we're doing?" She asked, perking up even more. Even hunting would be fun with Pigeonpaw.

(haha yay, more sources of conflict with Falconstorm's terrible mentoring mentality XD )
Beetlepaw shuffled his paws, not making eye contact with his mentor as he spoke. Falconstorm had never seemed to have much interest in him, even when he had first been apprenticed. All the other mentors seemed so happy to get their apprentices, even Thornstar when he had announced that he would mentor Pigeonpaw, but Falconstorm just always seemed... distant. Like Beetlepaw were something forgettable and perhaps slightly distasteful. The young tom wasn't sure what he was doing wrong to make Falconstorm so disappointed with him; he might not be the bravest, or the strongest, or the most outgoing, but he tried hard in his training, and was always attentive. But even so, it never seemed to be enough. Beetlepaw was thus somewhat relieved when Thornstar answered his question.
"I look forward to learning from her," Beetlepaw replied once Thornstar was finished, dipping his head again. He was never quite sure how to act around the powerful tom. He was so different from Falconstorm- big, strong, authoritative, and though he could come off as a bit aloof, it was never in the same cold, almost condescending way as Falconstorm. Beetlepaw glanced over his shoulder towards the apprentices' den, waiting to see if Ivypaw and Pigeonpaw were coming. If they were going to go battle training, the sooner they could get it over with the better. Battle training was Beetlepaw's least favorite kind- he always got pushed around by the others, and was always afraid he would accidentally hurt them, or that they would hurt him.
----------
Pigeonpaw let out a purr. "Yeah, I hope so too! Let's go find out for sure," she meowed, slipping past Ivypaw and heading out of the den. Beetlepaw was already with their mentors- or at least, Thornstar and Falconstorm. She wasn't sure where Beechblaze was. The brown and white she-cat bounded over, dipping her head quickly to Thornstar and then to Falconstorm.
"Hi! Sorry I'm late!" she meowed, not looking sorry at all. "What are we doing? Is it battle training? Are we going to fight YarrowClan cats? Can we?"
Beetlepaw rolled his eyes at Pigeonpaw's continuous questions. He couldn't figure out why all the other cats were so eager to fight YarrowClan. They stayed on one side of the border, and JuniperClan stayed on this side, and they didn't ever need to fight or even talk to each other, right? So why go and pick a fight? It must be a she-cat thing.

Cedarbark sighed in the warriors' den as he awoke. He was the unlucky cat who happened to have a small hole in the brambles on the wall, directly in front of his eyes. The sunlight was blinding, and he reluctantly left his nest. He exited the den with slight regret, but eventually a cat would know that he was asleep and wake him up, so there's was no point. He observed the camp. Beetlepaw, Ivypaw, and Pigeonpaw were gathered around Falconstorm and Thornstar. Ivypaw seemed particularly excited, and Cedarbark made a mental reminder to ask her about it when she wasn't talking with the Clan leader. He loved his daughter, but she reminded him so much of her mother. He couldn't have possibly been the one who gave her the energetic personally. The Clan knew nothing if her real mother—just as it should be.

((Oh my gosh, I adore Beetlepaw. XD))
Before Falconstorm or Thornstar could answer any questions, Ivypaw was bounding after Pigeonpaw and stopping in front of them, still hopping away. Falconstorm was obviously annoyed by the overly energetic young she-cat, and Thornstar just looked amused, but Ivypaw was paying neither tom's opinion any attention. "Yeah! What better way to learn than fighting YarrowClan cats?" She pointed out. "And they have the Riverstones. We should fight to get them back." Plus, she was ready to show off her skills and give fighting a chance. Practicing was so boring. Ivypaw craved the real thing.
"We will not be fighting YarrowClan for the Riverstones." Thornstar's voice rumbled as he spoke. "You do not want to get into a fight with a patrol. Not yet. There will be plenty of time when you all are older, and more experienced." If Thornstar was to send a patrol to get the Riverstones back, it certainly wouldn't include three apprentices and only three warriors. He would send much more.
"Are we ready to go?" Falconstorm asked. As if Beetlepaw wasn't annoying enough... these two little she-cats didn't seem to stop talking, or stop asking stupid questions. For once, the angry tom was pleased to have Beetlepaw instead of one of these other apprentices. Even if he was a weakling.
"As soon as Beechblaze is here, although..." Thornstar paused. "Perhaps we should just head to the Dusty Hollow first and let him meet us there?" He didn't see Ivypaw's apprentice, so he assumed that the tom had already left, or would be smart enough to meet them there.

(lmao I've just been completely neglecting Beechblaze rip. Also yeah Beetlepaw is gonna be an absolute cinnamon roll XD I kind of want something bad to happen at some point, maybe in a fight with YarrowClan Pigeonpaw gets hurt or something? And his personality just does like a full 360. That or he can just always be a meek lil thang, I'm not sure lol.)"Awwww," Pigeonpaw groaned as Thornstar announced they would not being doing any real fighting. Beetlepaw, meanwhile, let out a small sigh of relief; he hadn't figured they would be looking for a fight, but the reassurance was welcome nonetheless.
"I think I saw him heading for the dirtplace just a little while ago," Beetlepaw put in helpfully at the mention of Ivypaw's mentor. He couldn't imagine what was taking him so long. Or rather, didn't want to. Fortunately, at that moment the dark brown tom returned to camp, looking around with wide eyes before trotting over to the group and dipping his head apologetically.
"Sorry I'm late," he meowed, his voice deep and rumbling, though very quiet. "There were a couple buzzards poking around where everyone's been throwing the remains of their prey. I chased them off so they wouldn't mess with the kits." He looked over the apprentices, curiosity flashing in his eyes for a moment. He greeted his own apprentice with a quick flick of his tail on her shoulder, before looking back to Thornstar. "So, where are we all headed today?"
(oops sorry it's kinda short)

>> Ooc << Well having myself make a she cat... she would have a crush on falcon, she befriends him and they become good friends and then he tells her his secret and that breaks her heart so then she ends up blackmailing telling him that if he doesn't become her mate or something that she will kill snowshimmer or the kits when they come to juniper clan. And in Falcon evil blackmailing he will also become the savior because he loves Snowshimmer and doesn't want any harm to come to her. Or something like that. I haven't thought it through because it was just a thought. >> RP <<

(Ah right. Yeah that would be more between you and Blaze so I'll let her make the call on that one XD in my personal opinion, I think it might make the already fairly complicated plot a bit too complicated, but that doesn't mean that it couldn't be altered a bit and used for different characters. But like I said, I'll let Blaze have the final say on that.)

(Fair. I don't think it's necessarily a bad concept, I just think it might overcomplicate this particular plot. But it definitely might be interesting to have a couple where one cat is sort of blackmailed into being with the other. Though, it might be difficult to find a reason for it XD also I would say if that were going to be the case it should be in a different Clan, since we already have one blackmail plot here lmao.)

((I also think that it's a bit too complicated for this current plot. Plus, knowing Falconstorm, I'm thinking he'd say go ahead and kill her if it meant he could stay as deputy and not be blackmailed for the rest of his life. And is Falconstorm still supposed to like Snowshimmer? I thought now, he was just going to be power-hungry and take down Waspfang... through blackmail. XD))

(yeah that's what I thought too. But I mean I guess it's possible that he could also like Snowshimmer in his own way? Though knowing Falconstorm, I would guess it would be in a bit more of a shallow, objectifying way than actual love. And I feel like he would still be too selfish to actually sacrifice much for her. But he's not my character so I can't say for sure lmao.)

XD So... for drama and plot purposes, that might be better?)) Thornstar let out an amused purr. The excitement of young apprentices was always refreshing, although he knew that would be gone after their first real battle. It had been for him, anyway. Not that the tom wouldn't fight if need be, but he definitely didn't enjoy using his claws. Before Thornstar could reply, Ivypaw answered Beechblaze's question. "We're going to the Dusty Hollow to practice battle techniques." She explained before wincing a bit when she realized that perhaps for this one time, she should have remained quiet, but she couldn't help herself. "Sorry... Thornstar..." Ivypaw mumbled in apology for butting into the conversation that probably should have remained between mentors. "It's fine." Thornstar replied, his voice still a deep purr as he spoke. "Are we all ready to go, then?"

(sorry I've been a bit busy the past couple days, rip)
Beechblaze twitched his whiskers at Ivypaw's enthusiasm. He always found the spirited apprentice amusing, even if her constant energy and excitement did get a bit... trying, at times. She would mellow with age, and until then, he saw no reason to dampen her spirit. Turning to Thornstar, Beechblaze dipped his head. "Yes, I'm ready to go if the rest of you are. Ready, Ivypaw?" Beechblaze, of course, knew the answer to that question, but he felt it was worth asking anyhow. He noticed that Beetlepaw didn't seem near as excited to be battle training as Ivypaw and even Pigeonpaw. Due to the age difference between Ivypaw and the other two, he hadn't interacted with the younger apprentices all that much. Being unfamiliar with their personalities, he couldn't be certain if Beetlepaw's uncertainty was due to his personality, or if Falconstorm had said something to frighten or discourage him. The black and white tom could come off as a bit harsh like that, sometimes.
----------
"Yeah, let's go!" Pigeonpaw meowed with a small bounce. Normally, she would much rather do some easy hunting, putting forth the bare minimum effort required of her to pass a day's training.... but today was different, and her paws itched to be at the Dusty Hollow, so that she could show Ivypaw everything she had learned! Of course, they talked about their training on occasion, but that wasn't the same as really showing Ivypaw what she was capable off. The young brown and white she-cat didn't care much for impressing her mentor... but she would certainly go out of her way to impress her friend.

Ivypaw scoffed at Beechblaze's question. Of course she was ready! How could she not be? "Yeah! I'm ready." She was still shaking a bit in excitement, which really came as a question as to how the young apprentice could be so energetic. Even if she did calm down with age, Ivypaw would probably have more energy and spirit than most of the other warriors around them. She couldn't wait to arrive and show off what she had learned, even if fighting wasn't exactly her forte. "Pigeonpaw! Do you wanna race? Beetlepaw! You can race, too!" Of course, if they did, by time they got to the Dusty Hollow, the apprentices would probably be exhausted.
Falconstorm rolled his eyes. He wasn't as amused by the enthusiasm of the apprentices as the other mentors were. Thornstar stood up beside him, still looking at the trio of apprentices in amusement. The leader didn't say anything as he watched them talk. He did wish that Beetlepaw was a little more enthusiastic like Ivypaw and Pigeonpaw were. Enthusiasm went a long way, and Beetlepaw's lack of it worried him a bit. "Let's go, then." Thornstar said with a flick of his tail as he started towards the entrance with Falconstorm following after him.
