Hi! I've been stalking this since last night when I was supposed to be studying for my Mandarin final and I figured this is way too good to pass up!! I'll get my main man Levi up soon if that's okay w everyone, I just don't have a lot of motivation right now to work on him, finals week kind of left me brain dead

Oh yeah, she had the best sense of humor about it. Also, not gonna lie, I feel like learning that makes you feel pretty damn cool.

Physical Description: Levi stands at, roughly, six foot five, with broad shoulders and a thin frame, nicely accented with muscle. Nothing about his appearance looks warm. Levi has thick, jet black hair that falls just to his straight eyebrows that he parts to either side of his face to keep it from falling into his hazel eyes; his black of his hair contrasts with the cool undertones of his skin, which only adds to the appearance of Levi looking cold. His cool features paired with his uninviting facial features -- an almost permanent frown and the sharpness of his nose, cheekbones, and eyes -- make him look aloof and annoyed. His skin is flecked with scars, especially his hands, due to him having the nitty jobs as a carpenter’s apprentice that required him squeezing into spots that only a child’s frame could, a frame he long outgrew.

Personality Description: Levi is a rather quiet and guarded individual, as he would much rather be left alone to his own devices, or just have to deal with one person at a time. He’s a man of very few words when he’s with a group, but he’s known to listen very carefully and reply when necessary. Sometimes he’ll even throw a joke in, but his humor is very dry and at times dark. Levi, though, is a rather personable person once you get to know him like some of the crew does; he’s known to sit up on the deck at night when he can’t sleep, and he has an inviting enough air about him (even if he doesn’t look very inviting) to draw company from other crew members who can’t sleep, either. He’s an extremely loyal individual, especially to the Vile Squid’s crew, even if only a few of his crewmates are buddy-buddy with him. Levi’s biggest insecurity is the fact that he cannot read or write; he wasn’t privileged enough to learn. Since he’s in charge of materials and supplies, Levi is anxious that someone -- besides the captain and quartermaster, who both know -- will find out and try to claim he’s incompetent at his job, even though his job doesn’t require much reading, if at all. Levi, though, makes up for his inabilities by having a damn good eye about knowing what condition the ship’s in.

Background: Levi was born in a port city to a mother who worked the streets and to a father his own mother couldn’t even point out. His mother died when he was fairly young, about eight years old, which led Levi to resort to life on the streets, and he did just fine as a street rat. Levi spent most of his time around the docks, and some of the dock workers took a notice and a liking to him, since he was always inquisitive about the ships that would come to port, more so than the other homeless boys that lurked around the docks. He would make some legitimate money by running errands for and helping some of the dock workers who repaired ships, and a few came to see the boy’s quick wit and eye when it came to the conditions of the ships and what repairs needed to be made, and at eleven he was apprenticed off. At fifteen Levi landed on his first pirate vessel and was able to climb the ranks from there, finally settling on the Vile Squid as her boatswain.

If y'all want him to be changed a little I can do it since Orion was made to be very, very specific to a certain stereotype in the previous rp I can do so. I don't have a face claim but I'm gonna try to find one haha.)
