Character's Name: Hailrush
Description: Hailrush is a long furred silver tabby with a white chest and underbelly and ears that have noticeable tufts of dark gray fur at their tips. Her eyes are a pale shade of seafoam green - not that any cat would describe them as such. She looks to have both main coon and Norwegian forest cat traits and would be considered by twolegs to be a mutt of sorts. Due to her heritage, she is quite a large cat and her long, heavy pelt only adds to her size.
Personality: Hailrush has frequently been called 'cold', 'callous', 'insensitive' and a menagerie of other demeaning concepts to describe what she would call the behaviors of a great warrior and leader in the making. She is serious and strategic in the best of times and is apathetic and harsh in her worst. Her ambitions are not quite clear to the clan, but her goal is to become the leader of BirchClan and expand their reach beyond the small scope of territory they currently reside in.

History: Hailrush has a reputation as an outcast, too concerned with her own business and ambitions to make sense of her clanmates. She's always been a loner within the clan, even as a kit and apprentice. Being the only kit to her parents was likely the catalyst for what her clanmates may see as a lonely existence. She, on the other paw, does not see the need to form superficial bonds with others if they only drag her down. This isn't to say that Hailrush is bad with socialization, of course, and she certainly does have a networking system within her clan that keeps her up to date with all of the news she needs. She just isn't particularly close with many cats. Despite this, she is respected for her ferocity in battle and ability to keep a level head in stressful situations.
Family: I'll keep her mother and father open, if anyone wants to take the roles. My only stipulation is that they kind of look like her! If not, they'll just kind of... exist in the clan without doing much.

Character's Name: Cinderfrost
Description: A pale gray tom cat who is of average size, yet is seemingly dwarfed by his clanmates and his eyes are a frosty blue. It is clear that his name came from the attributes of his appearance and did not receive a name based on any particular skill he expressed in his training.
Personality: Cinderfrost has always been a skittish cat, made worse by the fact that he feels constantly small. He is a literally a nervous wreck and suffers from constant anxiety. He dislikes conflict and will go to many lengths to ensure that he makes himself the least likely cat to cause any sort of fuss. He became the medicine cat apprentice in part because of his flighty nature.

History: Cinderfrost was not always a medicine cat, and started out as a warrior apprentice. He was not very good at anything in his training due to his skittish and cowardly nature, and struggled for many moons. He watched his siblings receive their warrior names before he was even halfway close to finishing his training; many times his mentors would give up on him and request that he become someone else's problem. While he finally received his warrior name, no one in the clan thought of him as particularly useful and he himself thought he was a waste of space. Upon a particularly awful Leafbare, his parents and siblings contracted a severe illness and they along with some other clanmates were wiped out within only a few days of infection. After that moment, he was confident in one thing for the first time in his life: he was going to be medicine cat and figure out what the debilitating illness was and how he could cure it. Since his transfer, he's not nearly as anxious and his self confidence has built.
Family: He is an orphan due to his family becoming very ill and dying.

Character's Name: Nightpaw
Description: A small black she-cat with bright blue eyes and semi-long fur. She has big ears for her size, and tufts of fur on the end of them.
Personality:Can be quick-tempered, but also kind. An inquisitive young she-cat, she sometimes has to step up to the plate when Cinderfrost is having one of his breakdowns. Being given so much responsibility is a little intimidating to her, but she hopes to become a great Medicine Cat to her Clan one day.

History: She has been made fun of often by the other apprentices as she's grown, largely due to her small stature & seemingly large ears. She tries to keep a good nature though, & has grand dreams of being one of the greatest Medicine Cats ever.

Character's Name: Rainshadow
Description: A lean black tom with a dark grey patch on his chest and bright green eyes. He has a long tail with a dark grey tip, as well as dark grey inner ear fur. Compared to his sister, Nightpaw, his fur is much shorter.
Personality: Much quieter than his sibling, Rainshadow can be seen as aloof, but he is merely thinking things over. He is a lot more level-headed than Nightpaw, which helps him balance out their relationship and stop her from getting into too many fights. He can be a little too blunt sometimes, which may hurt another cat's feelings, but he is usually trying to help as he is very honest & loyal.

History: More than a few moons older than his sister, Nightpaw, it can be challenging to wrangle the hot-headed youngster, but he tries his best. He just wants what's best for his family & his Clan. Fiercely loyal, he will protect his Clanmates until it is his time to join StarClan.

Character's Name: Whitefeather
Description: Whitefeather is an all black ebony tom with a white underbelly and legs, a fawn-spots-like pattern of markings on his back, and is peppered with white and grey hairs. He is a thin cat - though this is covered up with some mid-length fur - is not very tall, and has big round ears, and a medium length tail. This Maine Coon mix, while believing himself to be very beautiful, does have flaws with his complexion. While he is crisscrossed with battle scars, one is the most notable. In an accident as a new apprentice, his partner had unsheathed their claws and had hit Whitefeather directly in the left eye. It eventually healed, but he is blind to this day, causing one eye to be gray and clouded with an ugly scar, while the other is a calm and calculating sky blue. Due to these injuries, he was forced to stay an apprentice for much longer than those he had grown up with, becoming a warrior at 22 moons old. He is 36 moons old.
Personality: This tom is quiet, and would rather sit, listen, and learn than jump right in. He sees that running into a situation with no context can never lead to anything good, and doesn't understand how the apprentices don't see it as well. He is not intimidating, in fact he thinks of himself as quite approachable and friendly, he just will not be the one to yowl until his opinion is heard; he would much rather wait until he can get the leader alone to express his ideas. He is often very happy with himself and his accomplishments, but tends to get overly worried when he does fail at something. He dreams of one day having a mate, and will often wonder if whoever he happens to be talking to at the moment is the love of his life and he just can't see it yet. Whitefeather is also aware that he is infertile, much to his dismay, as he loves kits.

History: Whitefeather was born into Birchclan to a mother he never knew that well. Her name was Squirrelclaw, and she rarely payed attention to her kits. She would often disappear from camp, coming back hours later to her hungry kittens. Squirrelclaw never spoke of their father, except that this tom was brave, strong, and kind. Once Whitefeather and his sister became apprentices, their mother left for a final time. She was found dead by the border a few days after. Whitefeather became very distant to Hollowfur after this incident, and they don't talk to each other much to this day.
Family: Squirrelclaw (dead) and an unknown father. His littermate is Hollowfur.

Other: I realize the description sounds highly made up and impossible, but it is a thing! It is called the "Finnish mutation", something resulting from extreme amount of inbreeding and often is accompanied by sterility! A cat with this mutation can be seen here: click

Character's Name: Hollowfur
Description: A large, buff she-cat with a long, dark brown, mackerel tabby coat. She is splashed with white on her chest and a bit at the base of her tail. Hollowfur has big, warm amber eyes ringed with black, like coals as a fire is burning out. The tips of her ears, which often point out to either side of her, are tipped with fur, and are heavily clawed up. Hollowfur holds her head up high, trying to appear better than everybody, but most of the time she just looks ridiculous. She is 36 moons old.
Personality: Despite her age, Hollowfur still acts very much like a kit. She's arrogant, thinks she knows everything, and very clumsy. She means well, she really does, but it just doesn't come across that way to most. She is highly emotional, and gets embarrassed often, because she doesn't know how to think before she speaks. Hollowfur is fiercely loyal to her clan, and her clanmates, and doesn't trust anybody outside of that. However, if you want to get to know her, a juicy piece of prey may dull her edge.

Description: Rainfoot is a grey She-cat with white-silver points. She also has white feet, a white, striped tail, and green eyes.
Personality: Rainfoot is a quick thinker, which makes her excellent in battle. She is also quick on her feet, and has great defense strategies. She is kind and fair to all, and likes to slow things down so her logic can work them out. She is 27 moons old.
