Rosepaw glared at Rosethorn. "You'd better back up right here and now, otherwise I'll fling you to StarClan and back." She hated the idea of them sharing the same prefix, as they were complete opposites.
(Replace fling with slap. That's my favourite insult: "I'll slap you to narnia and back." I'm so happy I got to say that in an rp!!!)

The nerve of this Apprentice was astounding , but opening her muzzle was an absolute mistake . " You'd do well to follow me , for a moment , if you would . " Without hesitation , her strong tail curled around Rosepaw and dragged her clan out of the Nursery , and a out of earshot from it . Her fur bristled , making her look even larger than she already was as she bared her teeth , her tone quiet , but sharp .
" Birchclan is weak because of insubordinate brats like you , " She leaned in close to her , her eyes blazing with irritation , " Cats that don't know their place and think they can get away with whatever they want . So here's the deal - you're going to be spending the next three sunrises picking ticks off the elders . " She straightened up and smirked , a look crossing her face as if she stepped fresh out of the Dark Forest - " Oh , and don't even think of objecting . I don't think Eaglestar would be pleased to hear you weren't doing as you were told - "
Rosethorn turned her back to the Apprentice as she paused her threat momentarily , " If I were you , I'd see to it that you do as you're told , or the results won't be pretty . I'd hate to see you fail your final assessment and not become a Warrior ~ "
The threats just kept on coming ; Rose was always one to oversee the Apprentice's Assessments , seeing as how she'd mentored several of her own , and had the experience . She flicked her tail as she casually headed for Eaglestar's den , just to prove her point . For all Rosepaw knew , she could be telling him she'd been doing all sorts of negative things , and then again , maybe she wasn't . That was how she worked - paranoia and fear always worked . She knew the Apprentice's words would have no weight in the clan ; Rosethorn was seen as a respectable figure ; a strong Warrior worthy of the position she'd soon claim . Nothing was going to take her down . Especially not a puny Apprentice that didn't know her place .
(( She's honestly terrifying and kind of a huge jerk sorry y i k e s I wouldn't mess w/ her ,, tbh ,, she has and will kill somebody tbh ))

Rosepaw gaped after her. Why that little- She cut herself off. She's trying to threaten me. She may be nearly three times my size, but I'm NOT going to let her get to me! She thought fiercly. Oh, just you wait, Rosethorn..... Just you wait......

(Lol, me too! I'm going to assume Ripple is about 1 moon?) "You'll become an apprentice in 4 or 5 moons. By then, you'll probably be able to pronounce words properly!" She joked. (Sorry, I'll probably poof for the rest of the day!) Yah probably 1 moon, maybe even a tad younger)) Ripplekit was confused. Why did she say that? That's not nice. He saw the smile on her face and realized she was joking. "I hope..." he was cut off by Rosethorn hauling Rosepaw out of the nursery. Disappointment and fear of the warrior shot into the very tips of his claws. He backed away from where Rosepaw had just been standing, and as close as he could to his mother's belly. He whimpered and huddled into a crouching position, and drifted in and out of consciousness, awoken by the smallest noises. |

Rosepaw trotted back into the nursery to see Ripplekit twitching in his sleep. Poor kit...... She resumed her post, but whatever she tried, she couldn't dissipate the fantasies her mind was creating.
"Due to bad marks on her final assessment, Rosepaw will not become a warrior." Rosepaw felt her pelt burn with shame. She turned to see Rosethorn staring evilly at her. Looking away, she saw Bonefang shaking his head in disgust. She slowly turned her head again..... and stared into the eyes of Lightningspark. The emotion in her grandfather's eyes seemed to break her into tiny pieces: Dissapointment

Lightningspark walked out of the elders' den, stretching each leg in turn, and then raising his hackles high and yawning contentedly. He walked a few steps before he felt a jolt in his side, and turned to see Spark-kit upside down next one of his legs with a frightened look on her face. She got up and he nudged her towards the nursery, where an extremely worried Morningflight was waiting. Reaching the fresh-kill pile, he picked up a fat vole and sat down to watch camp life slowly drift by.

Rainshadow saw Lightningspark head to the fresh-kill pile and begin to eat. He padded over to greet the elder, thinking of joining the other tom. "Good morning, Lightningspark" he meowed.
