➤ CHATTING So, my character is a daughter of Hades. Plot Ideas: - Our characters meet on the road, fighting monster together, making their way towards Camp. - Platinum ( my character ) coming to camp, making friends with your character. Overall, I’ve always had Platinum as that character that is a trouble magnet.

i have a few character ideas rn, but it'll depend on plot which one i use. my main concern is trying to keep something that won't die soon; e.g: the "character comes to camp, makes friend w character" thing isn't entirely long-term; but if we throw in some shenanigans, or something along those lines - then it might work out fairly decently.
i've got a few characters in mind if you wanna choose from a little list of blurbs?
i've got a child of athena, who's fairly quiet and in the background, not often noticed by others. a child of hypnos who enjoys telling stories but usually puts people to sleep with them (by accident). a child of nike who's competitive as hell and tends to run into trouble because of that - not many people like this character in-rp. a child of apollo who's good with medicine more than anything else, who spends all of his time in the medical tent because that's just where he belongs. and a child of hephaestus who has no chill & will fight anyone and everyone + everything. complete troublemaker who needs to tone it down a little.

➤ CHATTING Platinum is more of a snappy, sarcastic character. I’m leaning towards the Apollo or Hephaestus.

hmm. i'll use apollo, solely because a calmer character could be good.
sure, sure!!
here's mine;
Alexis Liu -- 19 years old -- son of Apollo Often referred to as Lexi, it's often impossible to tell his gender. He's a very androgynous person, and his height of 5'2'' doesn't particularly help anything, either. Fairly lean-muscled and slender, he's stronger than he looks and tends to be looked over due to his calmer, quieter demeanour. He has a slender face and gentle features, with dark brown eyes. The upper half of his left eye, however, is blue - and a faint scar lays just underneath his eyebrow, suggesting it's a trauma-change and not natural. Tousled hair is a brown-black in colour, and it's semi-wavy/curly, and fluffier than expected. He has something of a calming air about him which is useful for the most part, especially in the medical tent. His general attire consists of pale skinny jeans (usually light grey or even white) and a dark (black or grey) loose tank-top with some sort of graphic on it, with either an oversized hoodie or a leather jacket to complete the look. He usually wears military-style boots with this. It's common to see him wearing a tattered dark red scarf, but it's unknown as to why he prefers it. When he's working in the medical tent, however, he tends to wear less-casual clothing; a long-sleeved black shirt is usually what he uses, since it's easier to wash blood out of. As a child of Apollo, he's naturally skilled at archery and music; he's quite talented in using hymns, and often uses that to heal people. Lexi's healing skills are finely-tuned and rather impressive, and he can heal large-scale wounds with the right hymn, even if it drains him. He's a good listener and is often the ear for troubled campers.

➤ CHATTING Platinum Stone -- 18 years old -- Daughter of Hades Platinum is a relatively beautiful girl. Long black hair cascades over her back, ending around the middle of her back. Her eyes are a dark brown - almost black. She usually wears a t-shirt and jeans, with a black hoodie. As a daughter of Hades, Platinum tends to stick to the shadows and avoid human contact. When it is absolutely necessary, she tends to be sarcastic and snappy, making her a relatively unlikabke person. Her main ability is her sword fighting skill. Her blade is a long, thin Stygian Iron sword, Shadow. Along with her fencing skill, Platinum also has the basic abilities of a child of Hades; shadow travel, speaking with ghosts, summoning skeletons. Extra: Platinum has a “pet” Hellhound dubbed Happy.

There were times where he wondered if it would've been better for him to leave Camp Halfblood, find a university, get more medical education - but as it was, he relied on the herbs, on his hymns and on ambrosia and nectar. Perhaps that was just who he was; a demigod who's life was dedicated to healing other demigods. It was not often he'd gone on quests even as a child. Alexis Liu was just one of those demigods. He stayed put, did his job, and made sure that others could do their jobs. It was a simple existence, but he didn't quite find it in himself to mind too much.
At present, he sat in the medical tent with yet another injured demigod. He wasn't quite sure of the story behind it - sometimes, they were reluctant to tell him. It wasn't because they didn't want to talk to him (he had ways of getting them to talk), but it was rather that they knew he would be disappointed in them. Lexi's disappointment seemed to be something that the younger demigods feared more than his anger; though his anger was a rare thing.
"Here you go," he said softly, moving his hands away from the wounded area. "No ambrosia needed. You need to take it easy in the games you play, Sacha."
A small grin came from the child of Hermes, and he sat up and looked over his arm. A faint mark was left, but that, too, would fade. It had been deep and bleeding quite a lot before the kid had come to the medical tent.
"Gotcha. Thank you, Lexi!" as quickly as he had run over to get healed, he left - and so the infirmary tent became quiet once more. He moved to the back and changed back into his casual clothing, before moving to stand outside the tent and watch the goings on. Up the hill, he could see Chiron moving around and doing business. Near the archery range, there were other children of Apollo (which didn't come as a surprise). As a whole, the place was calm. It was not often that he could take a breath, but he did, for now, and hoped that the calm could stay for a little longer. Capture the Flag would be happening in a few days, and he needed a lot of energy for that. The rate at which the other demigods got injured was nothing if not concerning.

➤ CHATTING Words
➤ ROLE PLAYING Her heart pounded in her chest as she pressed her back against the wall. The thumping of the Cyclops’ feet was close. “Come out, come out wherever you are, demigod!” The Cyclops bellowed, swinging its massive club in the air. Platinum quietly reached to her belt, unsheathing her jet black sword. She stepped out from behind the wall and darted towards the massive oak tree sitting on the top of a hill. The Cyclops roared, “STOP RUNNING!” It stomped after the daughter of Hades. Breathing heavily, Platinum lifted two fingers to her lips and whistled. The Cyclops hesitated, confusion evident in its single eye. That was its last mistake. With a bark, a massive black hellhound tackled the beast to the ground. The two monsters fought viciously. Platinum launched herself past the tree, her chest heaving. She glanced at the Camp below her - she had been informed by Hermes to go there - then turned to the fighting monsters. “Good, Happy, now get goin’!” She yelled. The hellhound woofed, leaping into the shadows and disappearing. ___________________________ credit to тнe wιɴтer ѕoldιer «

He knew there were monsters in the forest surrounding the Camp; it was what made it so dangerous for demigods to actually get here, what made some of the games and activities so dangerous. It wasn't too uncommon for one of the younger demigods to get spooked by something and come to him to deal with it - so when he was told that someone had heard a Cyclops, he wondered what had brought it so far out. Nonetheless, he grabbed his bow and quiver, and made his way to the border of Camp Halfblood, absently zipping up his leather jacket as he did so.
Lexi was just beyond the border when he heard a voice - which, naturally, meant one of two things. Either a) they had a new camper, or b) they had a visitor (unwelcome or otherwise). He paused and shook his head, before he walked up the hill and pushed his way through the undergrowth, ignoring the slight pull of thorns from the brambles.
A woof made him pause. Upon reflection, it sounded like a Hellhound that was leaving rather than coming, so he steeled himself and continued onward. If it was a new camper, then it would be better to find them rather than leave and hope they made it. Survival chances were always better with a trained demigod escorting the newcomer.
"Hello there," he greeted upon realising it was a human. A camper or otherwise, he didn't know. He did, however, eye the sword that she carried - it looked like it was made of a familiar material, but he couldn't quite place his finger on it. "Are you trying to get to the Camp?"

➤ ROLE PLAYING Platinum spun around with a growl, her entire body tense. Her dark eyes met his mismatched blue and brown ones. “Who are you?” She growled, clenching her fist around her blade. The jumpy demigod took a deep breath, managing to keep herself from running in the opposite direction, or swing her sword. She decided to study the stranger. He had dark hair, and he was relatively short, shorter then her 5’7” self. He had a bow in his hands, and Platinum deduced that he either was a son of Apollo, or odd. ___________________________ credit to тнe wιɴтer ѕoldιer «

If he was surprised at the sudden aggression, it didn't show. Instead, Lexi flicked his gaze away to study the line of trees for any danger - though it seemed that whatever danger there had been had passed. Considering the girl seemed older than the average newcomer, it was safe to assume that she'd likely dispatched of it by herself. That was fair enough.
"My name is Alexis," he said, returning his gaze to her and raising a single eyebrow. "What's yours?"
He found it wise to keep his voice soft (though he was softspoken as it was, so this wasn't hard) and a calm tone; the same tone he used for injured campers. When people panicked they tended to react violently or they tended to withdraw, and he wanted neither to happen - especially considering that the girl was equipped with a short-range weapon, and he was with a long-ranged one.

➤ ROLE PLAYING Platinum’s gaze softened a bit, lowering her sword. She was still on edge, it was obvious, but she didn’t make anymore sudden moves, or aim the sword at him, “The name’s Platinum,” she said finally, her dark eyes flickering around the wood. Platinum was exhausted, to say the least. The Cyclops had a family, and Platinum had been fleeing and picking off the rest of the family for over a week. She was covered in dust, and a makeshift bandage was wrapped over her shoulder. ___________________________ credit to тнe wιɴтer ѕoldιer «

"Alright. It's nice to meet you, Platinum," the young man gave a faint smile before he glanced over his shoulder again. He couldn't hear anything, and he was rather confident that it would be a safe route back; monsters did not often stray too close to the borders. If they did, then they were generally killed fairly quickly.
His initial assessment of her had been a threat-level; now, he looked at her with a medic's eye. She looked tired, the bandages suggested she was injured. After a couple of seconds, he shifted his weight and took a few steps backwards.
"If you come with me, I can see to your shoulder," he told her, "and you'll be safe, too."

She stood in front of him, waiting for him to lead the way. “I’m sure I’m in the right place, but I suppose I should check.” She started, “This is Camp Half-Blood, right?” ___________________________ credit to тнe wιɴтer ѕoldιer «

There were always demigods who believed that; that nowhere was safe and that nothing could protect them from the evils they'd seen. It was as common as anything, and so the paranoia was shrugged off as Lexi began making his way towards the Camp, listening out for any potential threats. At the moment, all he heard were birds chattering amongst themselves, which was always a good sign.
"Yes," he said softly, glancing briefly over his shoulder to see if she was following. "I am. Do you know who your parent is? It makes things much easier; and yes, this is Camp Halfblood. Hence why you'll be safe. The borders protect us - otherwise we'd be in real trouble, considering the amount of demigods here."
Speaking so much was a tiring affair, but if he had to fill Platinum in on the details, then so be it.

➤ ROLE PLAYING Platinum followed behind him, her eyes heavy with exhaustion. Despite her bedraggled state, she walked swiftly and quietly. Her eyes constantly shifted around, ready for an attack. She wasn’t used to being with other demigods, so she simply shrugged, “My father is Hades.” She said simply, ignoring the rumble of thunder. Upon hearing that this was indeed Camp Half Blood, Platinum let out a relived sigh, “Thank gods.” She lowered her voice, murmuring a quiet, “Thank you Hermes.” Under her breath. ___________________________ credit to тнe wιɴтer ѕoldιer «

At the news that the girl's father was Hades, Lexi faltered only briefly before he let it pass. He'd met a child of Zeus before, and a child of Poseidon; though it was a little surprising to meet a child of Hades, it wasn't completely impossible, and so he nodded and shrugged it off. No big deal. He moved past various campers, and entered the infirmary tent; holding the entrance open for Platinum to enter.
"Once I've seen to your wound - or wounds? - you can rest here, and I'll get Chiron. He can come and talk to you, and...well. If you want to, you'll be able to stay here," it was how things went, and considering there was the Hades Cabin (albeit empty at present), then it wouldn't be too odd. A new, interesting camper. "Is you shoulder the only injury you have, or...?"

Lexi gestured to a bed before he moved to pick up his medical it; it would be better to patch up than to use anything else for minor wounds. He washed his hands in the sink after he took off his jacket, setting it aside and frowning a little as he walked back to the bed that he'd pointed out for Platinum.
"Alright; I'd like to check the cuts to make sure they'll heal properly, but I'll focus on your shoulder," he told her. "You're not in too much pain, are you?"
If she was, then he'd take the easier option of ambrosia; but he liked to refrain from it, since it was better in harsher situations.
"I see. Well," he smiled a little as he used his foot to pull over a stool, sitting on it as he laid out some bandages and gauze, as well as anti-septic. "Either way, I hope you enjoy your stay here. They're good enough people."

➤ ROLE PLAYING Platinum sat down, crossing her arms over her chest as she watched Lexi father supplies. He seemed very acquainted to this tent, and she assumed, as a son of Apollo, he was probably a skilled medic. At his question, she shook her head, “No, not really. It’s been there for a few days.” She shrugged once again, glancing at the bloody makeshift bandage on her shoulder. She was still a bit shocked at this man’s kindness, but she assumed there were not many other kind people in the Camp. She merely muttered a thanks for his welcome.

"I see," he nodded, reaching over to take off the bandage carefully. He threw it into a little container to throw away later, and set to cleaning up the wound and patching it up, putting a salve that he hoped would soothe. Outside the tent, he could hear people chattering away - some of them younger, some of them older, like himself. It was something that had calmed him, in time. Lexi glanced up at her thanks and smiled faintly.
"It's not a problem," he hummed softly, making sure everything was clean before applying gauze and a bandage, "where do you come from, if you don't mind me asking?"
