alright, so -- possible plot ideas need a possible vague basis (':
there's a book series i read a long time ago (but still adore) that follows the shenanigans of something of a little thieves guild (well, they're smaller than that - but you get the idea) and some Bad Things (tm) happen to them and it ends up as a duo later on, but that could be interesting?
or a sort of assassin's guild.
or, hell. maybe a solo-running criminal who ends up with someone who doesnt Quite Know how crime works (even someone of royalty - that's always fun)

ooh, I like all of those ideas. hmm - could combine some of them, maybe have a small group of criminals but things go downhill; then being more desperate one or two could team up with someone way out of their element. or it could just be simpler--I'm not picky
also what book series? sounds interesting

i like that, i like that a lot! they could be in a lot of trouble and hence the reasoning they end up teaming up beyond the criminal group!

yes, that'd be good! could be a more average random person or someone's friend/relative helping them out--giving them shelter or something, or someone higher up who might have some power or influence
group could be just thieves, assassins or maybe mercenaries who sometimes do odd jobs but also illegal work which could be a mix of both of the other options

it could be interesting for either someone offering shelter or - hell, even a higher-up offering shelter to someone. either way, interesting!
mercenaries are good! they're super fun - they're so varied and different that tbh, every style works. it's likely they work as bodyguards for higher-ups (maybe linking to the upper statement of a higher-up offering shelter) as well as do illegal things.
it's definitely worth a read! |

hmm. maybe they were found out for something illegal and are trying yo stay out of jail, orrr maybe they ticked off another group (or that group wanted to eliminate competition) that's now after them

hell yeah hell yeah bodyguards & upper-class are fun
ooh, the other group aiming to eliminate them could be super fun.
like; these two groups could be rivals anyway, but the one gets irritated bc the other (where the criminal from the rp is from) is better & smarter, so the easiest way to get rid of them is to "take care" of them; which includes killing them off one-by-one. perhaps the character from there is the only survivor, and goes to the upper-class person in search of both work & shelter, and p e r h a p s the upper-class is interested in crimes (tm) and so it just works out
or something. |

i went to sleep at like 7 am here and woke up about 2 in the afternoon my sleep schedule is screwed--but i felt rested somehow
dragons are great. maybe a mostly more realistic world but still some fantasy creatures, and stuff like magic but it's rarer--magic could even be outlawed maybe, stuff like witch hunts

our upper class person could be a mage, and/or involved in a kind of magic black market--selling stuff like spell books and staffs, maybe some people there could offer healing magic, etc. and person needs protection to keep his secret from coming out

had an issue with my medications so I was pretty much useless for a while there whoops
