(I was thinking of someone who gathers their ingredients to create elixirs, potions, and poisons. But many alchemists in medieval times believed they could turn lead into gold. There could be multiple classes of alchemists.)

I'm thinking elf for nature-y part, since they have a good sense on where nature is and how to manipulate it. Humans would be good at making more powerful, but harmful, things. )

(Sorry my internet went out. Both if possible. I also found a history of alchemy page that may help with ideas: historyofalchemy.com/list-of-concepts/alchemy/ and I think I may make an apothecary as well, as they seem more suited to potions and poisons.)

I'll try. This is all my lore, so there is nothing about this on the internet or anything. Just to make it more confusing I guess. So, elves live in an arid land. This means little plants and animals roaming around, and hot, dry days. Because of this, they are usually nocturnal. They have developed eyes for seeing in the dark, but even better, their magic is now in tuned to their environment. They can sense the live/energy/soul of a living thing. More advanced/older elves can sense different things about the plant/animal.
Humans are naturally ambitious and are one of the more talented magic users. Because they have so much raw power, most have trouble controlling it and the effects can be quite destructive. Most advanced users are very powerful, but lack the natural healing abilities possessed by the other races.
Of course, I would be happy to accept outliers, because the rp isn't fun without them. Just trying to give the general lore. )

(Thank you. I know lore can be extremely difficult, and world building in general. I my my idea for a world and it's taken me about two years to put it together in a a way I like and I'm constantly changing it. The human sounds like it would fit what I was going for: an alchemist who is more of an outsider and is less of a healer and more of destroyer because they have trouble controlling themselves.)

I know the struggle. I have trouble because I have to make sure everything fits together and makes sense. Sounds like a human would fit that role almost perfectly. ^^ )

(I'll right I'll probably post the form tomorrow. And if I make an apothecary? I would see them making potions and poisons (like how real world apothecary's make medicines and drugs.))

Boop. Just a small update. I realized how dumb questors sounded, so I changed them to fighters. I think healers/fighters are going to be the main people going out to help settle thing/people. The crafters and dragon keepers are those who stay most of the time. If you have an ideas/protests, please input. )

Hi)
Humanoids Joseph Hobbes / 28 / human Joseph is a slender and fairly tall, standing at about 6'2". His face is pale and oblonged as well as partially angler. His eyes are a dull blue-grey with a rather tired look to them. Joseph's hair is a light shade of brown and curly, the length just barely passing his ears. He typically wears long dark grey robes and worn boots. He carries a satchel containing various books and journals./Joseph is a rather odd fellow. He mumbles to himself and is cold towards others. He is sly yet is very persuasive, which can make him rather manipulative at times. Joseph is patient and tends to think before he dives straight into something. N/A/ As a young boy, Joseph had hoped to be a simple farmer like his parents, nothing more, nothing less. But one day, his father passed away unexpectedly, and his mother ignored him for many years since he was too great a reminder of his father's life. This went on for several years until Joseph decided wanted to make his mother happy again. He wanted to be a family again. He had heard the tales of alchemists who could transmute souls onto something else. He sought for research that could teach him how, and eventually he did. But it was rather unsettling on how. It required that, if he wanted to bind a soul into a new body, the use of another body was necessary. He robbed a grave of a fresh body in attempt to bring back his father. But he failed. For a few seconds his father was back, but the body had completely turned to dust shortly after. He never told his mother what happened and ran away. He vowe'd that he would never get to return until he had brought back is father. After hundreds of failed attempts, he became who he is today, and has even begun to trap souls in random objects such as books, stones, etc. He studies alchemy, primarily tranmutation if the soul and dabbles in necromancy. / Fiddle With the Guild? no

(Hello)
Joseph wandered the forest, searching for a place to rest. An old, tattered journal overflowing with papers was clutched in his hand. Eventually Joseph came across a fallen tree and sat against the trunk. He opened his journal and retrieved his ink well. Day 4,722. Nearly thirteen years have passed since I left. But I have yet to give up! I will never give up! I will have my family once again! Joseph was mumbling something under his breath as he wrote, but it was too quiet to understand.

Aleithea Argia (Al)/ 186 years old/ Elf Aleithea is quite tall, being about 5’10 and is very slender with small curves. Her beauty isn’t the typical elf way, with all its serenity and peace. It’s more...angular. She has auburn hair that falls to her waist. She’ll usually pin it up in an elaborate braid or hairstyle to keep it out of the way when she’s working. Aleithea has a strong bone-structure with high cheekbones and a strong jaw. She has light brown-amber colored eyes that no matter how hard she tries, show her feelings. Her skin is naturally a sun-kissed light beige, but is a golden tan from being in the sun. She has tiny freckles all over her shoulders and cheeks that she hates. Aleithea will usually wear a nature-colored tunic/dress with long sleeves and a leather corset-type thing over it filled with little pockets. She’ll put herbs in the tiny pockets and little healer runes in a velvet pouch she carries on her waist. Under her tunic/dress she’ll wear leggings and leather boots. (For the whole outfit, think Tauriel in the Hobbit movies.)/ Aleithea is..bold to say the least. Some may say fiesty, as she always has a witty or sharp comeback to anything. She is very, very talkative, and is just content with having a good conversation. Aleithea is loyal to the very coreof her being, and has the best intentions (even when things go wrong). She is not afraid to say what she thinks, and is very emphatic about her beliefs. Aleithea can get very frazzled and stressed easily, however, and tends to snap at people. Oddly enough, she is good under pressure. Aleithea was found by the Guild when she was younger. Her father had been killed by other Outsiders when they were traveling, and from then on, she swore to care for the Guild as best she could. Having an innate ability of healing and light magic, she decided to become a healer. She is a bit vain about her appearance../ @pinacolada With the Guild? Yes, she’s a Healer! (I’ll post my dragon later. )
