Toadkit stopped wrestling with Sweetkit for a moment, pausing to answer. He was almost tempted to hop over to his other sister, ribbiting. But he didn't, in favor of trying to placate her a little instead of tease her more. "Awwwh, now what's the harm, Lilykit? It's just a lil' mud, is all." He tried to placate her, his whiskers twitching. "It's not like we don't see mud whenever it rains, you know." He cajoled, possibly already thinking of ways to drag his neater littermate into the mud battle.

Lilykit huffed, stepping aside to be on dry ground. “Just because we see it, does not mean we have to step in it, much less play in it,” Lilykit told him tartly, lifting her paw up to give it a delicate, indignant lick as she began to groom herself, bringing her paw up past her ear. She kept her paws and tail tightly together on what little nice dry land was left. This was definitely the biggest reason why she had not wanted to go out and play with them. It was a yucky, dirty mess outside.

That sneeze had been cute, Kestrelcall had to admit. He hadn't said anything about it if only to keep the medicine cat from feeling any embarrassment. Sometimes Kestrelcall could be a gentleman, he wasn't always a blabber mouth about anything and everything going on. And what was going on right now was apparently a direct order from his medicine cat.
Kestrelcall eyed the bird. He wasn't exactly hungry but...he didn't want to go against what Puddleheart just said. He flicked his tail, looking the sparrow over as if he were checking for any sort of blemishes. When he spotted nothing in particular - noting to himself that the bird was perfectly fine save for the few bites taken out of it - he leaned forward and nuzzled it, shaking away any stray feathers that grabbed a hold of his muzzle. "How many constitutes a 'few' bites?" He inquired after a moment, pulling away from the bird to glance at Puddleheart. Kestrelcall silently hoped that the other tom would say two bites at most.

"Yeah, well what about when we're warriors?" Toadkit asked, plunking his furry little rear right in the mud. It didn't bother him, after all. "I mean, you can't just tell Sandstar that you aren't gonna hunt because you might get mud on your paws." At least, the little grey tabby didn't think you could tell the leader to bug off because it was rainy and muddy outside? Toadkit had no idea, honestly. He was a kit. He had about as much knowledge of being a warrior of OceanClan as a fish had of being a bird.
