Rowanstorm carefully nodded his head and swished his tail before looking at the two apprentices. "I'd like to see you both jump the stream as well. Breezepaw, I'm not sure if Ashcloud has taught you yet, but you'll be doing it now. It's a needed skill for us Oceanclan warriors." The large ginger tom carefully began to groom his fur that had gotten damp from not only the splashed stream water from Breezepaw's ungraceful land within the stream, but also from the rainfall above.

Firepaw glanced between the two warriors and then at Breezepaw, purring in amusement. He quickly licked the black tom apprentices cheek before hunching down by the stream, eyeing a sandy spot by Beetlewhisker that he'd try to jump to. He remembered being taught how to jump the stream, but he hadn't done it much. Gathering all his strength, and courage he needed, he quickly leaped over the stream, his paws outstretched in front of him as he landed squarely on the sandy spot by his mentor, feeling as if he had accomplished something. "I did it! Beetlewhisker, I did it!" Firepaw yowled happily before spinning around and looking joyfully at Breezepaw. "You can do it! It isn't that hard, nor a far jump! I'll jump in the water if you don't make it, I promise!" Firepaw offered, his eyes glittering softly.

Rowanstorm looked at Beetlewhisker and carefully nudged him. "Young love, I'm guessing? What about you? Your apprentice did really well, though. You're making an amazing mentor. I knew Sandstar made a great choice, especially since everyone doubted you about handling Firepaw's energy." The ginger tom chuckled and looked back across the stream at Breezepaw, waiting for the apprentice to jump and join them.

The largely built dark brown tabby felt almost a flood of relief wash over him when his brother agreed to him walking with Puddleheart. A purr seemed to leave the tom-- not something that happened often, but it was. He was thankful that Puddleheart seemed to be over the past, and ready to let him back in, but maybe that would change again, once Puddleheart knew about the rest of the plan he had made after the two broke their connection.

"Just tell me where we're taking these, then. Maybe after we store them somewhere no cat can get them, we can take a walk down to the beach. It's a little less cluttered, and we can talk then." Marsclaw offered, his amber eyes flashing with thought as he led the way out of camp and into the rain-dripping forest. He sniffed, shaking out his thick fur. He hadn't really been one for rain. He didn't know how any cat could stand it- just water in general made him shiver. He didn't know how some of the Oceanclan cats could swim in the water at the beach. That was beyond him. 

Getting in step with Puddleheart, he let his tail drag across the dead leaves. "I want to repair what we had. I miss having a brother at my side. It's always been you.  I'd talk to Robinfall, Larkpool or Pinetail, but.. I don't know. I didn't grow up with them from kithood like you and I did." Marshclaw mewed. He refused to even mention Beepelt, knowing it would cause memories, and Puddleheart might call off there chat if he did. "I'm sorry I never talk to you again... After... yeah. But I need you, Puddleheart. I need my brother, and if you'll have me, I'm willing to help you if you do the same."
