You both have been inactive for about a week now; this is just a warning and sadly, a strike, so please let me know if you plan to stay, or if you want to just leave and have your cats opened up to someone else. I'm very sorry for being gone. My internet was shut off for about a day and yesterday I cleaned the whole house and did dinner. I'll try to be active today but in about an hour when my mom wakes up I might be going with her into the big city about 30 minutes away to go to the mall so I might be gone for a few hours. If not, I'll be here! Happy Birthday Sand and I hope you feel better Roseclan seems interesting. I did have a question... Since they are cats mostly based on plants, I used to have a she-cat named Aloe-eyes who I absolutely adored... If it would be possible to add her, since I don't know where the list is, I'd be very appreciative. Also if there are any slots still open - Med apprentice, kit to be med apprentice, leader that's meant to die soon, up and coming deputy after the new one dies off, or something like that, I'd love to be part of it If not it's fine and I'd really just like a kit, queen, or apprentice to play. They're fun. < |

r i v e r f a n g e n d l e s s f o r e s t  The brown tabby tom stared intently into the rushing waters. His large paws were raised above the swirling currents, ready to strike. When he spotted the flicker of movement he was waiting for, the tom plunged his paw into the water and swiftly scooped up his target. He tossed it to the side, stunning the poor fish against the ground before delivering a killing bite. "Hmm, pretty large catch." he thought to himself with a purr. His blue eyes glowed with amusement and he turned his attention back to the river. Unfortunately, his swift scoop caused the other fish to swim to safety. The tom wouldn't dare jump into the river and try catching prey that way. He'd have to settle for woodland creatures.
He buried the pike on the riverbank and turned towards the forest, ready to get going. He closed his eyes and listened to the sounds of the forest before swiveling his ears towards a peculiar sound. Figuring it was a mouse, the tom began to stalk. He caught a fresh whiff of the small animal and tom withheld a purr in delight. However, as he crawled closer and closer, the tom accidentally stepped on a twig, alerting the mouse and losing his catch. Embarrassment flooded over him when the two warriors scolded them, and he found himself wishing he was back in the water, so he could sink in and avoid this. However that might be a bit weird. So instead he just awkwardly stood there, completely drenched and trying his best not to start shivering as wet fur clung to his body, water dripping from clumps of the black fur. “Sorry, for uh, for splashing you. It was on accident, we were racing to see who could get to the other side of the stream first and I tripped over a root, I think, and well,” he paused to sheepishly look down at his paws, and then to the stream. “You know the rest.” He paused for a moment before looking back up at them. “It was my idea to race as well, Firepaw just joined in,” he added, looking briefly over at the other apprentice, definitely not wanting him to get in trouble for any of this when it was pretty much all on Breezepaw.

While Marshclaw was talking, Puddleheart had taken the time to gather up the herbs again, making sure there weren’t any leaves left behind. They needed to get all of this out, and he didn’t have time to separate the catmint from the nightshade, maybe he would do that once he was sure the deadly plant was no longer in camp, or anywhere a kit or young apprentice might find it.
Happy with his collection, and unable to spot anymore, he got ready to leave when Marshclaw spoke to him, surprising Puddleheart with what he had to say. They hadn’t really acted like brothers lately, not since Beepelt died. Though died wasn’t exactly the right term, murdered fit better, even if Puddleheart didn’t like to think about it. He blinked, dropping the herbs so he could properly answer. “...You want to come,” he repeated, as if still processing what he had said. “To talk to me about kinship matters.” The repeating really wasn’t necessary, but it helped Puddleheart fully understand what Marshclaw meant.
It wasn’t like he didn’t want to be close with his brother again, it was just that he wasn’t sure if they could, knowing what he knew and all. But...Everyone deserved a second chance, especially his brother. If he couldn’t give his own kin a second chance, how would he be expecting to give anyone else that? So, he nodded. “That would be...nice, yes. It would be nice, besides, I’ll need help carrying all this back out anyways,” he explained, looking down at the pile of herbs he had dropped, pawing at them lightly for a moment.

Endless Forest { ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 }Conchwing had slipped out of camp not to long ago to take a trot up to the river. She had been stuck in camp almost all day considering Marshclaw hadn't sent out any patrols yet. She figured she'd be better off out of camp than in, since Rowanstorm had been placed in charge of fixing dens that needed it. With her petite size, Conchwing didn't serve much help in carrying any brambles back to camp, so she stuck to hunting, figuring the clan would want to eat after such a day of work of patching the leaky dens.
A movement in the corner of her eye distracted her thoughts, causing her to lunge after the small brown shape and kill it. A mouse! She purred before sitting up straight. She looked around. What had startled it. A loud "Fox-dung" filled Conchwing's ears, causing her to purr in amusement. Riverfang. She recognized, trotting out in the clearing and look the tom over. She placed the mouse onto the forest floor. "At least you didn't lose it completely, right, Riverfang? That was some good teamwork." She purred softly, her eyes glittering at the tom gently. "How about I join you on your hunting spree? I've been stuck in camp since dawn, and I think hunting will loosen up my old bones." Conchwing joked softly, purring in amusement.
