As the title suggests, I'm looking for someone to do an advanced fantasy 1x1 with me. The plot revolves around a princes/princess, on which an assassination attempt is made. To keep the prince/ss safe, the king & queen decide that the best course of action is to send him/her into hiding. Thus, they give him/her a false name and disguise them as a peasant, sending them to live with a commoner in a far-away part of the kingdom. Having spent their entire life in the lap of luxury, the prince/ss is not happy about having to live as a commoner, even for a short time, and struggles to adjust. They will likely also butt heads with their caretaker, who is... not the pampering sort. Ensue shenanigans, angst, and maybe a little bit of danger and action if the wrong people discover the true identity of the prince/ss.
In style, this is a fairly realistic sort of fantasy. Not elves and magic and all that- just a medieval setting in a made-up world, with some slightly abnormal things (like, people with white hair or red eyes). Of course, your character is more than welcome to be superstitious (in fact, that's encouraged) but there won't be any real magic.
I'm hoping for a partner more on the literate side of things, but I won't be super picky about things like post length. A good 300-750 words per post should do it, with longer and shorter posts depending on situation. I'm just looking for good grammar, good world-building, good character development, and good plot progression. IE, I don't need 1000 words of your character's deepest, most innermost thoughts, and then for them to just walk for steps or say "yes." I also don't need 400 words of tiny, meaningless movements with no thought, character development, or anything else of substance.
Finally, on the subject of romance. I'm gonna go ahead and break some hopes and dreams right now and say that this is not intended to be a romantic roleplay. That's not to say that romance can't happen, but I'm not aiming for it, and it'll only happen under the right circumstances. One, the royal character would have to be a male in his 20s or early teens; my character is gay af. Two, their personalities have to actually be compatible. Three, no "love at first sight" bs; if it happens, it'll be over time. Of course, if none of these things fall into place, it'll be perfectly fine if our characters are entirely platonic. Still, I felt I should mention that so no one gets their hopes up.

Ummm not that I can think of at the moment. I know that Johanna is quite an odd royal considering she is very stubborn and fights back unlike the quiet and obedient girl everyone expects her to be. She hates the patriarchy and isn't afraid to stand up for herself. She lowkey hates the fact that she's in hiding. So yeah not much ideas for the kingdom itself.

Hm. Well I had imagined that in this kingdom there were queens aa the primary rulers as well, not just kings... thus while they would still expect a princess to be polite and proper, she should also be intelligent and mostly independent. But I suppose it's your kingdom, so it's up to you have prevalent the "patriarchy" is here. And yeah, the idea was that the princess would be VERY unhappy about having to live as a commoner in hiding so it doesn't even need to be low-key XD
