Looks good! I've always been perplexed by digital painting myself. I think what I've seen from other digital painters is that they blended a lot and then layered more color...? Hope that helps?

It looks good! One thing I’d suggest is using colour to shade. If your program has layers and layer options, set it to Multiply and shade as needed with a more vibrant colour. You can adjust the opacity as well.
