History
The group's leader, Gibbous, found a stretch of habitable territory and claimed it moons ago with his sister, Randy. He and Randy lived there for moons, and as time went on, more and more cats found them there. Each new cat that arrived became another of their friends, and joined them in living in the territory. They braved harsh winters together, and have earned their keep in this territory. Each time a new cat arrives, they give them a chance to live among them before all else.
Territory
The territory of the group is a very cold climate. Most of the year is cold, many moons snowy. The time of year known as newleaf is warm at best, and often rainy and stormy.
The territory itself is a forested area, with a meadow in the northwest where young cats can practice their skills. All throughout the territory are clusters of small dens where cats sleep, instead of one camp that holds every cat. In the center of the territory is a cluster of wide, flat rocks that can be used during warmer weather for sunning. East of Sunningplace is a river that runs through the territory, from the north border down to the south.
Rules
-Read all the rules and find the password in [], then hide it somewhere in your RP example. If you are too lazy to read the rules and/or can't follow this simple instruction, then... just... please don't join.
Realism
-No powers or super unrealistic cats! No red eyes or purple fur, no powers, no special snowflake names like Starshine or Glitterfire, and please no MARY SUES/GARY STUS.
-Lead cat can actually be challenged for their leadership if another cat thinks they can lead the group better. While this would make for a nice sub-plot, please be realistic with this. You're not likely to win, and if you do, it's not likely to stay that way.
-Be realistic with ages as well. A 20 moon old adult can not be made lead cat or second in command or senior member. An 8 moon old trainee can't defeat a 40 moon old senior member in battle.
-Be realistic to whatever rank you have. If a rank has a certain duty, your cat should be able to perform that duty.
-Fights inside the group are allowed as a plot device, but please don't do so because of a grudge against the RPers. Be realistic with reasoning. Two cats wouldn't fight over something that doesn't matter to them.
-Another part of realism is knowing the clan. You don't have to research and memorize every part of it, but you should know where the rivers are and what the camp looks like, what landmarks are called etc. because I want a sense of setting in this roleplay. When you're on patrol, you need to say where you're going in the territory, which border, south, east, west, north, which land marks you pass.
-All genders and sexualities are allowed. Not even that I have a right to restrict it, but because I don't have a right to. And neither does anyone. You can't argue "REALISM!!11!!" because this is an RP about talking cats living in the forest that's a stupid argument. If you try to complain about it I will be personally insulted and kick you out for real don't test me scrub.
General
-Try to stay active. If you join this rp, you must post more than once a week, and if you get a high rank, once a day is preferred! Two weeks of inactivity gives me the right to remove your character, kill them off, or adopt them away!
-Respect is very important for people joining this group. You must respect me, the creator, and my decisions. If I make a decision, please try not to argue or whine. Also you must respect eachother. I do not want arguments!
-Take character interactions with a grain of salt. Characters' personalities effect how they treat the cats around them, so don't take personally what one person's cat says to yours
-On the flip side, don't reject, ignore, or be rude to someone's character just because you don't like the person. If I see that your character is being pleasant with everyone except a specific person... well I'd just better not see that.
-Please do not start a major plot, like a prophecy or an attack, without discussing it with me first!
-High ranks must be earned through active and literate RP.
-Any cat can have knowledge in herbs, but there must be a reason, and no one cat should be an expert unless I permit it
Form & Applying
-Please make sure you also fill out the code box at the bottom so that I can copy it to put in the allegiances.
-If you make multiple characters, you only need to have an RP example in one of the forms.
-You must fill out the appearance even if you have a picture! Having a picture does not excuse you!
-If you do not have a picture for your character, [please] delete the code for the picture to keep your form neat
-You must use the form provided and give the information I need! If you do not, I will ask you to fix your form.
-High ranks are not first come first serve.
-The non-bolded and capitalized letters in the form code must be REPLACED with your answers and deleted.
-I can and will add rules as I need to, because some things that seem like common sense and don't come to mind turn out to NOT be common sense and will need to be added.
