Pokemon clans?
we could either do (a) clans with actual Pokemon or ( cats that just look like Pokemon. I'm leaning more towards actual Pokemon just because cats that look like Pokemon seems… meh.
I could make the layout and such. Anyone who wants to make graphics can have at it. We would need:
- intro
- rules
- explanation of egg groups, I'm guessing (for mates)
- Berry list (instead of herbs)
- history of how they came to be
- plot? (could involve trainers)
Also, would we need to restrict what sort of Pokemon could be in the clan? It might be cool to have Pokemon like Rhydon or oddish, for example, but would they fit in the clan? (I'm thinking certain Pokemon such at rattata, pidgey, magikarp, and sandshrew would be prey so they can't be clan members.
In that sense, it'd be easier to do cats that look like Pokemon because then you could have Pokemon that don't necessarily look like cats originally as cats.

Or you could do actual cats in the pokemon world, where all the critters are 'mons instead of creatures.
Eevee would be a fox and actually be threatening
Other littler mons could be prey
Smarter mons would be companions/rivals
Legends would be gods

Browniemy only concern would be fighting the mons how would a cat fight a Pokemon? kittyyeah, it would definitely be a little easier

If we did normal cats in poke world, maybe the cats could be afraid of all Pokemon, except the small cay ones. Up to you though

Probably just like the cats fight foxes or badgers in the books. It would deviate from the hp pokemon thing, but many writers take pokemon in a more fight style rather than how the games do it. More like the anime.

i was thinking, if we did pokemon as cats, we could do cute sprites instead of descriptions   (luxray cat) sorrel has these linearts that are free-to-use and very cute! here |

I was thinking: first evolution is the kit, second is apprentice, and third is warrior. For those with only two, kit and apprentice are the first evolution.
there aren't many Pokemon with only one evolution, but i guess they would just be the same for all and grow like a normal cat.
