I think i remember you from an old angel-hunter rp on the original forums. Becca, right? I have a few plots if you'd be up for them. I mean, they can end up as romance rps, but if romance is the main focus, I have a little trouble sticking to it.

The hunters had spent nearly three weeks out in the wilds hunting for any trace of humans. Not that they were complaining, they were all creatures that survived well in the woods. A pair of bansheraes - mute fay creatures with grayish skin and leaf-like hair - a dragonkin standing at almost eight foot, and a werewolf all under the command of an elven mage. The group thrived in the wild lands.
However, they'd been lucky to catch what they did. That particular area, it seemed, had been hunted clean. From what they could tell, the human they'd snared was the last in the area, considering they caught most of their prizes when other humans arrived to aid the captured individual. But in this case, no one had shown up to defend her, or even claim to know her. They'd mark the area on the map to be searched another year, but not again any time soon. They'd learned that humans rarely migrated when the winter season hit, and the first frost had crept in during the night before they'd gotten in to town.
As the sun rose, melting away the little crystalline patterns of ice from the grass and stone road, the hunters had passed through the gates of a large city with their catch caged in the cart behind them. As the markets slowly came to life with merchants and customers, they pulled back the tarp over the cage to display the human.

Passerbys offered passing glances as they moved past the cart, some of them with humans of their own trailing behind them. Those humans watched the street, not looking up as they passed the hunters. Some of them recognized the group as their own captors and would not give them a reason to approach them. With the morning being as cold as it was, most people hurried to complete their business so they could get home. Every so often, a parent with a child or two trailing after them would try to tug at their parent's cuffs and point toward the cage, loudly asking questions to be heard above the buzz of the market, to which the parents would look toward the cart and make a face, a quiet answer, and they'd be off.
Normally the group had more time to try to groom the human a little better and replace their clothing, but they hadn't gotten the chance yet. It was clearly hurting their chance to sell her here, and the expense of traveling with a catch in winter was usually more than the sale would be worth. Today was the only day they had, and she didn't look presentable enough to draw a crowd. This wasn't to say they hadn't at least tried, but she'd proven wily enough to slip out of their grip and nearly escape twice now, so they couldn't take that risk here. Their best bet was to keep her visible, so they hadn't offered a blanket or other shield against the bite of the cold.
As the day slipped by and the frost began to form again as the sun sunk below the rooftops, the hunters were growing antsy. They wanted to find their regular inn and make sure they got rooms and meals before they locked up for the night. The populace in the market dwindled from few to none as the last of the shops closed up. The group chose to move their cart over next to the inn, where at least travelers would see their catch before they gave up on it. A catch that didn't sell usually ended up thrown to any number of groups in the city that might have use for parts. Blood magic, beast feedings, anything of the sort. It always felt like a waste, but they'd take what profit they could.
The bansheraes made a few short gestures to the mage, and he shook his head. The others headed inside the inn, and he walked over to the cage. He took the tarp down from where it sat folded and he used a simple spell to place the words "inquire inside" on the tarp before stringing it from one side of the cart to the other. This way people could still see the human, and whoever came up with a use for her could come to them while they took a break. He turned and followed the others inside without a second look back.

The setting sun finally dropped behind the horizon and night fully set in. The temperature outside continued to drop steadily, and the frost crystals returned to the cobblestone streets. As the lights in the houses slowly flickered out one by one, Mika finally finished his work. He collected the bottles on the desk, all of them corked and labeled with careful written instructions. The work of an alchemist could be tricky when you had the wrong potions on hand, but someone with experience never made such rookie mistakes.
He bagged up the bottles and pulled the messenger bag over one shoulder and locked the house behind him. With the hood of his cloak drawn over his head, he headed out, stopping every so often to knock on a door and deliver a potion to his customers. The trade was always simple with minimal words, just a pouch of coins for a glass bottle full of a colored mystery liquid. Of course, they'd asked for these days ago, but brewing took time and precision. Even if it was fairly late, he preferred to deliver the potions as soon as they finished, since a number of them were to aid in health-released issues.
As his bag grew lighter, he headed down the road to the last customer's home. He started up the inn steps, stopping when he realized someone had just left their cart by the inn front. It seemed sort of rude to him... but if the inn keeper allowed it, it was probably okay... Looking through the bars of the cage on the back of the cart, he realized there was actually still someone in there, and by the looks of them, they weren't covered from the frost. He had to guess it was one of the human carts... He took another step up the inn stairs. He was never really fond of humans, and it wasn't his business what became of one. But he could still remember what it felt like on the other end of the stick...
He took a step backward. It started as just one, but he soon found himself turned around back down the stairs. He walked over to the cart, quietly looking over the person inside.

Mika couldn't help but to take a slight step back at her glare. He hesitated a moment, trying to rationalize his thoughts. She was human, and he shouldn't need to care what happened after this point. It wasn't like she was asking for his help. And it wasn't like he owed her anything. Humans had brought him enough trouble in the past when they were more common place than creatures, and he still hadn't been able to glamour over the scars the encounters had left him with, but he still couldn't bring himself to leave and forget.
Finally, he took another step back and headed hastily for the inn stairs.

Mika entered the inn quietly, going over to the inn keeper and trading him two potions for a pouch of coins. Behind him, he could hear the human hunters reveling in a game of cards with no concern what so ever for the fate of the stranger outside. He considered the weight of the bag of coins in his hand silently, but another part of his mind tried so hard to rationalize that he was acting impulsively. He was usually very level-headed when it came to matters like this. He could always think things through. But not this. There was someone outside in the second winter night of the year with no shelter, and by the looks of her no food or bedding to help matters either. If she survived the night, she wouldn't get much farther...
But he remembered what it was like too. The weight of an opponents strike breaking his stance and crumpling into the sand only to be thrown elsewhere without light or bandages, without even straw to soften the stone below him.
He shook the resurfacing memories from his mind and without thinking it over any longer, he dropped the pouch on the hunters' table. The stopped, looking over at him. The dragonkin caught a glimpse under his hood and loudly began to laugh.
"Mika, of all beasts, throwing good gold our way for a human pet? Weren't you the one who shouted at us to leave our first sale here? What was it you said, that no one would buy from us here?" He remarked.
Mika only pressed his lips to a thin, impatient line. "Just give me the key."
The elf gave the bag a slight push back in Mika's direction. After judging the weight of the bag, he shook his head. "That's not nearly close to our finders fee. Especially if you're the one buying."
"You'll be lucky to get this much tossing her to a werepack for turning." Mika returned quietly. "The human's half dead already. Give me the key."
The bansheraes signed back and forth a moment before tapping the mage on the shoulder. He narrowed his eyes a bit, wanting to call Mika's bluff. But they needed a sale if they wanted to profit enough to upgrade their gear this season. "Leave it by the wheel." He instructed quietly, sliding the key across the table and snatching back the bag of gold coins. Mika picked up the key without another word to them and exited the inn. He walked over to the cart, reaching up to click open the lock. As he'd been told, he tossed the key near one of the cart's front wheels and looked over the human a moment as he decided to go about this. She hadn't responded to his approach, or his opening the gate...
He took a second to realize she wasn't awake. He carefully reached a hand forward, placing it on her shoulder and gently shaking her to try to wake her.
(Bedtime. See you tomorrow)

Mika gave a small frown at her words, having to root his feet in place to keep from backing up again. He only gave a quiet gesture for her to come to the cage exit. He started pulling his cloak out from under the bag on his shoulder and off of himself.
He could pass for human, almost. Dark, freckled skin, shoulder length black hair, but his eyes gave him away. Blues and greens moving slowly, twisting and blending along his irises. He wore a spotted animal hide around his shoulder under the cloak
He gathered the cloak up and held it forward to the human.

Mika's gaze shifted slightly as he avoided looking directly at the stranger in front of him. He still wasn't one-hundred precent on this, but he knew his mind wouldn't rest until the situation was settled. He turned and started walking the road back toward his house. He looked back briefly to make sure she was following, mumbling just loud enough to hear. "Let's go."

Mika followed the road once he heard her footsteps behind him. He led her to the house, a two-story building with a rooftop garden visible from the street. He headed up the steps and unlocked the door with a key from his pocket. He walked inside, holding the door for her.
Inside the house was only lightly furnished, but it was well kept. There were a few stacks of books, few of them in the same language, scattered around the room, and overstuffed bookshelves along every wall. From the entryway, a kitchen area and study room were also visible, as well as a set of stair cases. One led up to the second floor, and the other down into the cellar were his alchemy station was set up.
He looked at the human as she entered, finally asking. "What's your name?"
