He chuckled as he shifted slightly. "You and me both~." He perked his ears up,
as he looked over at his sister as she shifted slightly. "To be honest, I don't think any she-cat in this clan has ever seen me in a 'romantic' way." He said somewhat wistfully. "You know, I wanted to be a medicine cat at one point." He commented as he glanced around the camp. "I never liked fighting, the thought of hurting another cat or creature was a hard for me. Of course when our parents died and it was just me and Frostheart left I did what I had to in order to protect her." He purred warmly as his gaze drifted back to his kin. "I guess that's something we have in common..." He trailed off as he turned to face her. "We do what we have to for the ones we love." He chuffed, the sound rumbled in his chest and for the moment, as he sat here talking to Roseclaw, getting to know who she was, he was genuinely happy. |

He was silent as he looked down at the ground for a moment. He laid his tail across her shoulders as he offered her his reassurance. "I'm sorry to hear that. We lost both our parents when we were apprentices." He said softly, almost reliving the memories of their deaths. He shivered as he pushed those memories to the back of his mind. "Your very strong Roseclaw, that's something I admire about you. You may not be strong in a physical way, but your strong in the sense that all that happened to you and you haven't given up, you're still taking care of your sister and clan even after all that." |

Roseclaw flicked her tail for a yes to the deputy as she looked over her claws. "Your claw she very much broken. I'll just need to stick it back in place and some herbs." She went to her herb supply. She came back with some herbs and spider webs. She started to work on her paw. Fernleaf nodded. "Okay," she meowed and braced herself. |
