yeyeye!!
how about your modern character travels to a medieval world in the midst of a war or something LOL? maybe via magic closet. or falling in a well. or anything you can think of really. xD I think I'll have twin characters, a man and a woman, of nobility because that sounds fUN

I was just gonna ask if you wanted my character to go back in time yours to come to modern day XD
Did you want me to take two characters then? I was planning to use my girl Riley but I can also add in a guy if you'd like XD

I like modern to medieval because I love the stress and drama inherent in that period LOL tho maybe later they find a way to get them back and the medieval characters are able to go there?? hmhm
nah, just one is perfect. I was gonna go with one originally but twins sounded too good to pass up~

Alright. What do you want in the way of forms? I already have a description typed up for Riley from another role play but not her personality quite yet.
Also what age range? Low twenties?

dandelion I just threw together her personality so it's not very well written and just kind of a jumble of ideas at the moment but I figured it'd work. Riley Capps - Female - 21 Riley is a rather short woman, standing at only 5'4. Despite this, she has a powerful build and an athlete's body. Her skin is somewhat pale and she burns instead of tans, causing her to slather on the sunscreen the majority of the time when she goes outside. Riley has bright blue eyes and somewhat short golden blonde hair that doesn't fall far past her shoulders. Her skin isn't marred by many marks, though he has a scar across the back of her right hand and a few smaller ones on her wrist from surgery. Riley has a tattoo of a cross on the front of her left shoulder that's occasionally visible depending on which shirt she wears. She got it at the age of 20. What Riley lacks in size, she makes up for in personality. She's stubborn and competitive and isn't one to let others tell her what to do. She's got a bit of a temper, but had learned to control it. She's always up for an adventure. Riley can be reckless and doesn't always think about consequences, but when someone is there to remind her to slow down and think about things, she can actually be very good at coming up win plausible ideas. She's good at lying, but can be blunt and honest when with her friends. Everyone thats close to Riley knows they can count on her to give her opinion without sugar coating it. She's deathly loyal to her friends and family, and threatening or hurting them will make you a permanent enemy of hers. Riley grew up near the middle of the pack in a family with seven kids. She was always one of the leaders of her and her siblings, so nobody had realized that she was working on her little writing project. Her first book was published at the age of 16. The second at 18. And the third at 19. Her family is one of the biggest influences in her life and played a big part of making Riley who she is. She's also ridden horses since the age of 12 as a side hobby that she was able to do in exchange for work since her parents refused to pay for the lessons. She moved around a few times as a child, but around middle school is when her family decided to stay where they were. Riley is currently in school to be a vet as well as writing on the side.

at least you did an actual form LOL the laziness on my end is real,,, but it's easier for me to just write personality through rping ahaha so these are just vague atm, might change. hope that's alright. x"D but RILEY SOUNDS ADORABLE. I want Odette to be like a doting big sister and Emerson/Riley seem like they will clash so much amg ;v;
Odette Witsleigh - 23 - Female a petite, porcelain doll of a woman who very much fits the image of a noble lady. long, raven-black hair falls to her waist and contrasts starkly against the usual white she's donned in. has brown eyes and a beauty mark under her left eye. + gentle, astute, disciplined - self-centered, dishonest
Emerson Witsleigh - 23 - Male a who you wouldn't know was Odette's brother, let alone twin, if not for the similar sheen of their hair and eyes. he is tall albeit on the lankier side, but don't let that fool you as he's trained in various weapon arts and has given out his fair share of black eyes. + confident, vigilant, loyal - ill-tempered, impulsive

Well the majority of it was already done so I just kinda like listed out personality traits XD Thanks you I love Riley a lot. She's one of my favorite characters but not often used in role play And YES Odette and Riley would have a super cute sisterly relationship XD
Is there anything else we need to figure our? If not I can set up a starter and probably have her fall in a well cause I'm uncreative but I might google creative ideas

did we agree the medieval world is in the middle of war? :0c otherwise, as for the setting...maybe winter (because i'm already ready for snow abfgsdg) and she shows up just outside the Witsleigh castle borders? Emerson can find her there? what cha think? :3c

Sure. I can let you do what you want with the medieval world since Riley's pretty clueless about it? Yes I am so ready for snow and Christmas music (but not driving or walking up the steps on campus) so winter works
I can maybe have Riley walking through the woods near her house and then she comes out the other side and it's the woods near the castle? Then Emerson can find her. That sound good? If so I'll get to work on a starter

dandelion"Nicholas Alexander Capps!" The voice rang out in what was what a previously quiet house. All of the Capps children had returned home to celebrate Christmas and, of course, when the kids were together, chaos took over. It was odd for the house to be this quiet, but everyone had left to pick up a Christmas tree, leaving Riley, Nick, and Vincent home alone. "Yeah, Ri?" Nick asked, glancing up at her as he stood on the stairs. Wide eyed and innocent, the youngest of the siblings appeared to be the most calm and laid back. It was only when one angered him that they'd deal with the damage that Nick could dish out. "What did you do to my shirt?" Riley asked, holding up the shirt she'd gotten back in high school. It still fit and had been one of her favorite tee shirts for lounging around on lazy days, but now there was a big spot in the center of the shirt where Nick had 'spilled' bleach. "What do you mean? I was just doing laundry," Nick replied, a small smirk crossing his face. Riley made a noise somewhere between a grunt and a growl and threw the shirt back into the room she shared with her sister. She stalked down the hallway and into the living room, shoving past Nick on her way. As the youngest, Nick and Vince (the two were twins) were the only ones to still attend high school and live with their parents. Lincoln had graduated the year before and now attended some prestigious college that he could only afford with the help of a hefty scholarship. Next came Riley, who shared an apartment with a friend near campus. Kate, the next oldest and only other girl, lived with Riley and her roommate during the school year, but either came home or lived with her boyfriend during breaks. Finn was the second oldest. He did his own thing and owned a small auto shop in their town. Elijah was the oldest and Riley's best friend. He was a lawyer, married with a son and a dog. It was quite a family, and Riley found herself annoyed on a daily basis, but it was nice to have people she could count on. "Anyway..." Nick said as he trailed behind her towards the kitchen. "I was thinking that you should kick Kate out of your place and let me live there when I graduate." The boy popped open a bag of chips and pulled a few out. "And why would I do that? Kate pays rent. You don't even have a job," Riley argued. Plus, living with Nick would drive her crazy and she knew he'd spend his time flirting with any friends she had over. He'd done that when she lived here. The boy had a bit of a problem. Nick shrugged. "I'd liven the place up. Parties. Cool people. You'd have a lot more fun." "First of all, I am cool. Second of all, we have parties already. Third of all, I have fun. Fourth of all, I need to focus on my schoolwork. Hate to break it to you, kid, but college costs a lot more than high school," Riley said. She looked up as Vince approached. The twins couldn't be more different, so it hadn't surprised her when he had shown up without a sound. "Vince, tell Riley that we should live with her," Nick said, scrunching up his face. He knew Vince was the more persuasive of the two. Luckily, Vince was also more logical and didn't see the purpose of an unwinnable argument. "Vince, distract Nick. I need some fresh air," Riley said. Vince seemed to believe that was a better task and he held up an xbox controller. It was a silent challenge. One Nick couldn't refuse. The two boys disappeared into the basement that doubled as the room they shared with Elijah when he was home. Glad to see they were gone, Riley grabbed a hoodie from the couch and pulled her boots onto her feet before making her way outside. The snow was easily up to the top of her boots and the falling flakes gave no sign of stopping. Sighing, the girl ran her fingers through her hair and made her way to the woods surrounding their house. That would be at least be somewhat sheltered from the snow and it would let her get away from the twins their antics. She entered between the two trees she always did. One was the one Nick had fallen from, giving him the large scar down his side. The other had a carving of her initials in it, something she'd done as a child to make her mark on the world. Once Riley was safely in the woods, she pulled her hood off and began walking, kicking through the pine needles and rocks littering the ground. "That's... odd," she said to herself. As Riley walked with no true destination in mind, she noticed that the air had gotten colder. The sky had gotten darker. The trees got heavier. The sound of the nearby highway had disappeared. She hadn't been paying much attention to the world, but she couldn't have been walking for more than a few minutes. Riley shook her head and continued pushing through, speeding up when she saw the light that announced where the woods ended. She made her way through the trees, pausing when her feet sunk deeper into the snow. The snow now drenched the bottoms of her jeans and filled her boots with snow. Well, these fuzzy socks would have a date with the dryer when she got home. This is when Riley first looked around. There wasn't much, but the area was just different. It didn't feel right. Confused, the girl pulled out her phone. It lit up with a picture of her and Elijah on her 21st birthday, but there was no service. No internet. No nothing. "Huh?" Riley asked nobody in particular. The snow had become harder and her sweatshirt and jeans were now soaked. Her blonde hair was plastered to her head and she spotted a castle in the distance. Riley wasn't sure what was going on. All she knew is that she wasn't at home anymore.

That'd be cool if you got up a reply but you also like don't have to
Yeah I mean at this point I don't do a lot of specific deep plotting, more like just throwing out vague ideas of what could happen. Like maybe something with the war you mentioned going on?

( HOPE THIS IS OK AHHH i'm too tired to focus anymore. c'x i also need to make profiles for emerson and odette ahh!! )
The snow fell heavily, coating the world in a thick layer of white and leaving it in an odd, almost uncomfortable silence. Hardly good hunting weather… Emerson Witsleigh wrinkled his nose just slightly, steering his stallion after a pack of hunting dogs, who bounded through the drifts with noses in the air and tails wagging. The weather was certainly not the best, but they had to go out today. There was no choice in the matter. Enemy forces had been spotted to the south and swiftly approaching; Odette worried that they were hoping to surround the castle and starve them out via siege, and with not enough forces of their own and help uncertain, they needed all the supplies (including meat to freeze) they could get. If their fickle cousin, Lady Sophia and her lord husband would just respond to the letters and send aid, maybe-
“Milord, the hounds..!” A soft voice interrupted his train of thought and Emerson turned his eyes toward the knight at his side, an old family friend by the name of Seigmund, and then followed his line of sight. The hounds were bounding further off into the forest, a few letting out yips as they went. They must have found what they were looking for! He dug his heels into his horse with the beginnings of a smirk on his face and sent it charging after them.
It didn’t take long to find the dogs, and when he did they were growling and snarling and pacing around a girl. Clearly uncertain if they should attack or not; after all, they were specifically trained to hunt down boars and foxes and deer…not wenches looking lost in the middle of the snow.
“Who..? How did this woman get here?” Seigmund asked in a sharp undertone, eyes widening as he drew his horse to a halt.
“We’ll find out soon enough,” Emerson promised, his smirk fading into a grim expression. “You there! Halt!” He didn’t stop his horse and drew up closer to her, but not too close in case she had a weapon on her. Not like it would matter, the dogs would tear her apart at his command. He was of half a mind to let them do so anyway.
“State your name and business. Now. You walk on Witsleigh grounds, wench.” Emerson glared down at the girl from atop his horse and drew out a dagger from his belt, angling it dangerously towards her. Her face wasn’t one he had ever seen before, and the clothes she had were especially unfamiliar. Was she a foreigner? Or perhaps a spy? How foolish if it were the latter; he'd ring the information out of her before decorating the outer wall with her severed head.

(Well Emerson isn't very welcoming to random freezing girls on his property is he? XD and I feel like Riley is just very oblivious to everything right now...)
Riley was still staring at her phone, dumbfounded that the machine had failed her, when the dogs approached. Jumping back, she slipped the precious piece of metal into her pocket and looked at them. Now, Riley was not afraid of dogs. In fact, she loved them and her parents had three at home. She'd have a few as well except their apartment didn't allow dogs. These dogs, however, weren't like the pets she knew and loved. They looked as if they wanted to tear her apart.
Then the unmistakeable sound of hooves in snow caused Riley to look up at the men arriving on horses. She had to use all her self control not to reach out and pet the horse in front. She loved horses, but didn't think this horse (or the man perched on top) would appreciate it.
And then he began to speak.
"Huh?" Riley asked, only understanding some of his words. Of course, that may be due to the utter confusion of exiting the woods in this odd world. She knew the Patrick Johnson's house should be around here. She looked around and saw no glimpse of Pat or his parents.
"Um, well, my name is Riley. Riley Capps," she said. Her business? Well, the purpose of this walk was to get some fresh air and away from Nick and Vince. She didn't think that would be the most important thing to mention in this situation, so she moved onto the more pressing topic. "Well, you see, I'm sorta lost."
She cleared her throat, avoiding the eyes of the dogs or other men, instead focusing on the guy that had spoken to her. "You see, I live over on Elm Street. Or, my parents do, and I'm just visiting them. I'm not sure what Wistley. Willy. Wilson. Wisterly," she gave up on trying to remember the name of the place he'd mentioned. "Anyway, I just took a walk through the woods, but I'm not quite sure where I am and my phone doesn't seem to be working," she mumbled, pulling the device out of her pocket. It lit up with the picture of her and Elijah as she held it up towards the man on the horse.
She glanced at the dagger. "Also, I don't appreciate being threatened. You should know that I have five brothers and know how to use a gun," she added. Of course, none of that would help if he decided to let his dogs loose at her or actually use the dagger pointed at her. She almost thought it was funny, in a way. Elijah and Finn would both had a heart attack if they found out one of their baby sisters was being threatened with a knife. There wasn't much violence in their town. The most danger they taught her to defend herself against was a guy with the intentions of breaking her heart.
"Also, would you mind if I warmed up inside your house? Maybe get a change of clothes? Then I'll figure out how to get home and be out of your hair," Riley promised. She was usually fine in cold weather - she didn't get cold very easily - but the soaking wet clothes chilled her to the bone and she was pretty certain her feet were starting to go numb. She stomped her boots in the snow to keep feeling in the feet before she stuck her phone in her pocket.
