CHAPTER 1:
Lilly woke up to find herself in her bed surprisingly, she had fallen asleep on the couch and didn’t remember what had happened. Maybe I should go look at myself for a minute, I feel weird. She thought. She walked into the kitchen and made some breakfast. Then she went to the bathroom and took a bath. When she got out she got dressed and felt nothing wrong with her, I guess it was just my sleep wearing off.
She thought. “Alright, bye Stacy!” She called to her roommate, Stacy Higgins. When she headed off to school she just remembered something that she had promised to do for her friend. She said that she would pick up some

CHAPTER 2:
She hated that she couldn’t help her parents when they had been in the crash. She then went into the bathroom to look into the mirror. Once she saw what was on her head, she simply screamed. “What has happened to me?!” She screamed and immediately looked online for a cure. She didn’t find one.
She had watched enough anime to know that she was a neko. Her dorm was a tad bit smaller than your average two bedroom apartment. It had pink walls which her and Stacy had painted once they had unpacked everything. Now she wished they hadn’t. She hated how hearty and cheery it looked. She growled, “Why me?” Then she got up and went to figure out what to do with her tail. When she figured something out she put the pants on with her tail coming out the hole she put in. Then she put on a tank top and eventually went to buy some groceries. She knew now why people stared and paid no attention to it. But when she came near any children they ran away screaming. “What did I do?” She always asked herself. When she had gotten enough food to last herself and Stacy she went up to the cash register.
“Here.” She says to the clerk. He was staring at her just like everyone else. “T-t-thank you and h-h-have a nice day…” He stuttered. “Okay.” She says and leaves. When she got home, she grabbed the cloak that her aunt had gotten her last winter and put it on. When she came
out of the house no one took a second glance at her. She went to school but eventually she had to take the cloak hood off but she didn’t want to. So the teacher just made her put it in her backpack. Once everyone saw her she felt so embarrassed she felt like she would melt because of how hard she was blushing. “Um…” She said trying to get everyone's eyes off of her. “Class!” The teacher called so loudly that everyone jumped, her the highest cause of her advanced hearing. “Why did she have to yell?” She breathed. Then she heard someone whispering. “She’s a freak! I can’t believe she’s a neko!” Someone whispered. “Hey! Don’t talk about her like that!” One of the boys she didn’t know whispered back. Hmmm...I wonder who that is. She thought and looked like she was paying attention to the teacher, but she was really listening to all of the conversations. Someone growled at her. She yelped. “Who just growled at me?” She growled, the teacher was staring at her now. “Me.” Someone said from across the room from her, confidently at that. “What did you say? And what’s your name?” She growled. “That you're a freak and my name is Luke Waters.” He said unintimidated. “But you smell like a meif’wa yourself!” She almost barked, her fluffed up tail started wagging very,very slowly as a warning to the meif’wa. “Well I am one stupid.” He said and suddenly his ears and tail appeared. Everyone gasped.

“How did you do that?!” Lilly,genuinely curiously asked. “Not telling. Lilly.” He said tauntingly. “Ughr! How do you know my name?!” She growled,angry now. “I can read your thoughts.” He replied. “What’s your rank Kitty Boy?” She asked. “In my pack? Why it’s an alpha!” He laughed.
“And you're the omega!” He barked out and leapt at her. She instinctively curled into a tight ball while he clawed at her ears and skin. She started crying, she felt blood welling on her forehead. Someone helped her up, it smelled like another werewolf. She looked up at him,realizing who it was. It was the boy who had stood up for her.
“Come on.” He said lifting her up with ease. “Who are you?” She whispered quietly before she fell unconscious. When she woke up she saw a boy sleeping at the end of her bed. It was the werewolf who had helped her. He had hid his ears under a cap and put his tail in his pants. “What’s your name?” She croaked.
“Mike...Mike Clearwater…” He said waking up instantly. She laughed, “I know that you’re like me…” She said quietly, knowing he could hear her. “I know Lilly…” He said quietly,almost as quietly as her. She struggled in her bed,trying to sit up. Mike came over and helped her; “Need a drink?” He asked. “Sure…” She said,lost in space.
He went to the counter and grabbed her a water bottle. When he got back she was asleep again. She woke up to find someone in her face,trying to give her water, it was Mike, the other werewolf. “Whoa!” She yelped. “What is it?” He asked urgently looking around. “Why were you in my face?” She asked.
“I was trying to wake you up, you fell asleep for about an hour,” He said. “Anyways, when were you turned?” She looked at him like she didn’t know what he was talking about. “Oh that, I guess this morning,” She said. “You?” She looked skeptically at him. “I was turned in middle school, don’t know how it happened though, guess my parents were one, hey, I heard what happened to your parents, if they were werewolves they would’ve told you when you were like ten years old, anyways,” He babbled, “want some tips on making your ears and tail disappear? Or do you want everyone to know?” She was smiling like an idiot while he said this. “Um...They already know so there’s no use in doing it, plus I like petting my ears, they are really soft!” She exclaimed with a big grin.

CHAPTER 4:
He laughed, “Well you have a point there! Anyways, why’d you provoke Luke? I mean, I knew he growled at you but seriously! You shouldn’t have exposed him for it.” He said seriously. “Who else is a neko in this school?” She asked him. “Well there’s at least twenty other Mief’wa’s and at least twenty other werewolves besides us.” He replied. “Wow…” She said,surprised. “Who's the alpha and beta?” She asked after she recovered herself. “Well, I’m the beta and Eric’s alpha.” He explained. “How long have you been beta?” She asked curiously.
“Three years, and Eric’s been alpha for more than four years, he’s been studying different jobs so he has a better chance at getting a good job. He has a mate too, her name’s Scarlet.” He explained. “Oh, then what am I?” She asked. “A pup, ‘cause you were just changed, it takes a while to upgrade your rank and abilities.” He replied. “What kind of abilities?” She squeaked. “Foretelling the future,and mind reading, those are the most common, other than this sense that can calm down a room full of meif’wa’s and werewolves that are fuming, I mean like tear each other's’ heads off fuming! I’ve actually experienced it before.” He babbled.
“What’s yours?” She asked curiously. “Mind reading.” He replied. “Can you read mine?” She asked. “Nope, which is very confusing ‘cause you’re the only one that I’ve ever encountered that I wasn’t able to read the thought’s of! It’s really interesting.” He said and reached for her hand. “What are you doing?” She asked and jerked her hand into her lap, “Just seeing if physical contact is what I need, anyways, I was wondering if you knew what your ability was.” He asked. “Nope, like I said I just got turned this morning. I guess…” She trailed off.

CHAPTER 5:
“Who knows, you may not get your ability for a few days. I got mine on the last day of eighth grade.” He said. “What did you do to hide your ears and tail?” She asked curiously. “I put a cap on and refused to take it off, and then I figured out that it didn’t hurt very much if you put your tail inside of your pants, anyways, what are you doing this Friday night?” He explained. “Nothing much...Why?” She asked. “I wanted to introduce you to your new pack, also almost all of them are mated except for me and a few others. No I am not asking you out.” He explained.
“Okay, then yes I’ll come!” She said cheerily. “So, are you planning on getting a mate anytime soon?” He asked,blushing deep crimson. “NO!” She almost yelled. “I don’t date.” She explained. “Oh…” He was upset about something, “What’s wrong?” She asked him. “Um...It’s nothing, don’t worry about it Lilly…” He said.
His face looked all sad and lonely. “Hey, I’m fine now! Wanna go to the soccer field? Or what do you wanna do?” She asked, lightening the mood. “Um...I guess!” He said, a bit more cheerfully. “Alright let’s go!” She said and jumped off of the bed and onto his head, which, inconveniently, was right by her feet. “Opps! Sorry! I guess I’m a stronger jumper now, now that I know that, I can be more careful!” She apologized stepping off of his head swiftly.
“No it’s fine!” He called as he zoomed out of the room and outside. “Teenagers.” The nurse said as Lily came out,almost as fast as Mike. Mike beat her there with a few seconds to spare. “What took so long new girl?” He called from the other side of the field, with a soccer ball in front of him. Suddenly something crashed into her side. “Oooh.” She groaned, she was laying in the dirt with a few scrapes and a broken hip, but as she waited for the healing to kick in she felt and heard someone coming towards her, it smelled like Mike.
“Hey! Jasper! Why did you do that?! Man she’s just a pup, dang.” He yelled at who she was guessing was Jasper, although it smelled like there were four nekos there, all werewolf. She started to get up. “But why are you even trying to help her?” Another voice she didn’t recognize asked. “Who are you?” She asked them and then regretted it. Someone grabbed her wrists and held her down. “Hey! Lemme go!” She screamed while struggling to get out of the man's hold.
Then she saw someone coming towards them, faster than Mike. “Who’s that?” She asked Mike. “Lily, a new pup, just got turned last night, woke up like this.” He explained. “Well I’m Scarlet.” She said nicely. “Can you tell him to let me go?” Lily asked. “Sure, Jasper can you please let her go?” She asked him.

CHAPTER 6:
“But the Alpha told me to grab her! Alpha?” He exclaimed, looking over at who I presumed was Eric. She looked at him quizzically. “Are you Eric?” She asked him. Eric nodded at both of them and then turned towards Scarlet. “Get her over to Sue’s.” He commanded her, she nodded and then looked at me expectantly.
“What?” I asked,and looked over myself to check that I didn’t look any more weird than I already was.
“Everyone knows don’t they?” She asked me, wow she was fast. “Yes…” I said shyly. “Jasper,would you mind taking her back to her dorm?” She asked. “No problem.” He mumbled and grabbed my hand, then started running. She barely caught up.
“Lemme go!” She yelled as he yanked her back onto campus. “Fine,you asked for it.” He said and let her go. She ran back to her dorm and layed down on her bed, she hated the werewolf world. “What’s Stacy gonna say about this?!” She asked herself. “Nothing.” Stacy said coming in. “Why? Are you the one who turned me?” She asked. “Yep. And I’m glad I did, cause you're immune to every power there is besides the feelings one! I can’t even see you in my future predictions!” She said sadly.
“Is that my power? Being immune?” She asked. “Maybe not,but it’s likely.” She answered. “Will you start teaching as soon as possible?” Lilly asked eagerly. “Yes,and yes, but you will not be going to the normal college, until you learn to hide your ears and tail.” She explained. “But everyone knows…” Lilly explained. “Jasper’ll take care of that for you.” Stacy explained.
“What do you mean?” She asked. “He has the ability to erase memories.” Stacy explained. Lilly looked up at her with her ears twitching frantically and her tail wagging like crazy. “What’s wrong?” Stacy asked worriedly.
“What?” I asked,and looked over myself to check that I didn’t look any more weird than I already was.
“Everyone knows don’t they?” She asked me, wow she was fast. “Yes…” I said shyly. “Jasper,would you mind taking her back to her dorm?” She asked. “No problem.” He mumbled and grabbed my hand, then started running. She barely caught up.

Lilly, it’s just your senses kicking in, you see Lilly your mother and father didn’t die in a car wreck. They died by the claws of another werewolf trying to protect you...Your the daughter of a pure-blood werewolf Lily. And you have an older brother. He’s Jasper.” She explained. “Then why did Jasper grab me?” Lilly asked. “He did it because Eric told him to.” She answered.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door. “It’s Eric.” Lilly said. “I smell him. He stinks!” Lilly exclaimed. Stacy laughed, “Tell him that!” She said and went to get the door for Eric. Eric stopped at the doorway and stared at her. “What?” Lilly asked.
She looked over herself swiftly but saw nothing unusual. “Nothing.” He came in and stood three feet away from Lilly. Lilly stood up. “I thought I told Jasper and Scarlet to take her over to Sue's place.” He said to Stacy. “Yeah, I know, Scarlet told him to bring her here.” Stacy explained. Eric was looking Lilly over carefully.
“What?” Lilly asked again and stepped back from him. He followed. “Nothing.” He said shaking his head and stepping back. “I’m Eric.” He explained and held out his hand for Lilly to shake it. “I’m Lilly.” She said warily. “Yeah I know.” Eric said.
“Well, you really do wreak by the way.” Lilly said sniffing the air and plugging her nose. He laughed, “And why do you say that Lilly?” He asked once he could speak again, Lilly just stood there with stone cold eyes trained on him. “‘Cause you smell like rotten eggs.” She explained. “Well, Stacy, do you smell the same thing on me?” He asked, turning to her. “Bad choice.” Lilly said under her breath and tackled Eric to the ground. “Hey!” Eric yelled and tryed to get her off.
She took off through the dorm and out the door, she was faster than Eric,Jasper,and Stacy. No one could catch her. She ran to her parents’ house in California. It was empty. She went inside and into her room.
