The loud rushing sounds of the large steel monsters rang through EmptyEra's small pointed ears. She strained her eyes to try to spot a way out of her situation. The monsters screeched in every way. This wasn't a good position for a kit. She called helplessly for her mother, RavenShadow. She was in the middle of the large, dangerous, road.

From the corner of the little kit's eye, she swore she saw a blurry..tan figure run to her. And then the feeling of something grabbing her by the scruff and running to the side of the busy road. Who exactly was this? It didn't seem or smell like her mother...

The tan cat ran with EmptyEra in his mouth, and dashed to the other side of the street. She saw his paws reach the cold sidewalk, relived. The cat carefully put her down.
"Are you okay?" The cat asked urgently. She didn't pay attention to the cat's question.
"Who are you?" She asked, looking up at his scarred tan face.

His scarred softly blinked at the tiny kit, mewing at her. "It's Dust. Though you're more important right now, why were you in the middle of the road?" Dust looked back at the street, as a few large monsters rushed past them and without mercy. Who knows what would have happened if she was left there? |

She continued to stare at Dust wth a strange look on her face. "I-I don't know" She replied softly. "I was asleep. I woke up here..."
Dust didn't seem surprised. He continued to look at the large metal monsters. "Where are you from?" He asked.
"A clan; I forgot the name" She said, inable to remember much.
"The only clan I know is KingClan. I am a KingClan warrior, anyway" Dust replied, puffing up his chest proudly. "Follow me, I'll take you there."

The black kit nodded at Dust, getting up on her small legs and tried her best to follow the scarred-tan tom through the grass and down a small dip to a forest-like area. This did take a while though, almost a hour with Dust carrying the kit in his jaws halfway through.
"Here we are." He mewed, putting her down next to him and pointing his nose to the forest. "Well, not yet, but right at the outer edge of our territory." |

(Of course! I switched over to my roleplay profile!) "Okay.." EmptyEra mumbled, not knowing what to say. "I never heard of KigClan," she realized. "Well, it's not exactly a 'Clan' yet, but we're working on it. The nursery and elders den is established, but we still need more" Dust replied. "Here is the camp" He said, pushing back a pile of leaves. EmptyEra gasped. |

The land was large and grassy, nothing like the forest they traveled in. The sun beat above their heads, without any trees to cover. EmptyEra could see a large pregnant cat shuffling uncomfortably near a large stone cave. She guessed that was the nursery. A large pile of food rested in the middle of the camp. The wind blew against her whiskers, the sun shined on her fur, and she could hear the loud rushing of a nearby lake. She loved the feeling. (Not many clans are established in grasslands, so I loved that idea!  ) |

Tawnyfur quietly padded through KingClan's territory, looking for prey. Her tail swished in a calming rhythm as she looked for a place to escape the uncomfortable heat. (Is this good?) (It's great!) EmptyEra spotted the cat, and her whole expression changed. She could swear she saw her before. It wasn't her mother, or anyone else in the mystery clan she used to live. She began to run after the cat, leaving Dust behind. Who could she be? She thought. |

EmptyEra suddenly stopped. I shouldn't be bothering a Warrior at work! And what if I'm not welcome? She thought, anxiety hitting her. She crept backward until she she was back with Dust. She started to look around again, and noticed a light brown she-cat padding towards them. She wanted desperately to hide.
"Who do you have with you today, Dust?" The light-brown she-cat asked, eyeing the small black kitten.
"My name is EmptyEra" She spoke up timidly. She remembered her mother telling her not to let others speak for her. She squirmed under The she-cats warm, caring gaze. She wasn't used to being cared for.
"My name is KnottedPelt" The she-cat replied.
(KnottedPelt is my RolePlay character, if you didn't notice. I'm going to be making a RolePlay character of EmptyEra soon!)

"It looks like we're low on food, again" KnottedPelt mentioned anxiously, glancing at TawnyFur. "I'm not sure how we can hold till the meeting... I wish our leader was still with us." EmptyEra was led to the apprentices den, to catch up on sleep. "Today was a crazy day. We'll show you around tomorrow" Dust insisted, as he departed with KnottedPelt. She watched as they went to talk to TawnyFur. "Did you catch anything?" She heard the cats ask. ( snowy I hope it's okay that I played Dust for a bit  ) |

KnottedPelt sighed. "Luckily there are still some fish in the lake," she pointed out. "I want to to gather up some Warriors, and fish for some food."
EmptyEra, listening to their every word, desperatly wanted to help. But she knew that if she was found not doing what her elders said, they would call her untrustworthy.

EmptyEra wished she could help them, and drifted off into an uneasy sleep.
