hello and welcome to my song plot thread! all of the plots here are lgbtq+ friendly and for anyone to claim. my only requirements are that you can type at least 7 sentences per post with the correct punctuation and grammar, and that you can be considerate toward everyone else on this thread.

the plots
closer ; preferred pairing: any
a rather simple plot. a couple broke up and muse A left to go off and start either an acting or music career in Los Angeles. muse B, however, decided to finish off college. 4 years later, muse A is successful and muse B is just getting started. however, when muse B decides to take a job in Los Angeles, they find reunite with muse A when muse A's managers give them an assistant job. now muse A and muse B are stuck working together on their newest project.
secret love song ; preferred pairing: fxf
this one is about a band, a girlband. two bandmates fall in love, but they aren't supposed to be in love because well, they need to appeal to the opposite gender. so this plot is about their journey with their rise of fame and the challenge of hiding their love.
home ; preferred pairing: mxm or fxf
this plot is for cat characters only. it's really simple and underdeveloped, but how it goes is that there's two cats with two different backgrounds, getting together and traveling the world.
i'm so humble ; preferred pairing: mxm
a classic plot between a cocky, arrogant sporty lad, and a somewhat fiesty, drama nerd. when muse A[the sporty lad] gets in trouble for trashing the drama set, he's stuck helping muse B[the drama nerd] make it.

After having to get to school earlier than usual for football practice, Maverick was a bit on the more crabby side. Waking up earlier wasn't his forte, though he'd do anything to keep his status on the team. As of now, he wasn't the captain, though with the senior captain leaving this year, he was most likely to get the spot for next year. So, he wasn't about to miss practices for a bit more sleep.
Maverick walked in to the huge high school, pushing the doors open with a quick shove and heading in. His green eyes darted around as he searched for any friends of his, striding forward with arrogant confidence. "Hey, Mikey!" Maverick called out, spying one of his friends. He greeted his teammate with a grin, nudging him roughly, "How are you doing, man?" The brunette adjusted the snapback on his head, glancing around as Mikey answered. Clearly, Maverick really didn't care, as his attention was on some females as they passed.
"Ah, yeah! Good to hear." Maverick turned lightly, moving to step around Mikey when some twerp ran in to him. "Hey, mate! Watch it!" Maverick spat, shoving the other boy backward. A disgusted look was on his face, as if the boy who just touched him was infectious.

Aarons stumbled back, confused until he looked up and matched a voice to a face. "Won't happen again," he mumbled, bending down to pick up the sketchbook he'd dropped when he was pushed. It was filled with costume and set design ideas for the school play that fall, and it had opened right to a drawing of a dress - something he'd been working on for the past week or so that would be perfect for the leading role.
"You got in my way though," he murmured under his breath, praying Maverick didn't hear that one. He just wanted to get to his first class, acting, so he could show the teacher his designs and ideas. Averting his eyes, Aaron braced himself for the worst, straightened his shoulders, and made his way to walk around Maverick and down the hallway. He wasn't going to let some jerk pushing him around ruin his day.
