Aaron blushed, but Ari just glanced at them and grimaced. "Gross," he said. "Says the one breaking his exile, his super heavy punishment, to save the girl he loves! You have no right to say that!" Aaron retorted.

Ari clicked his tongue. "So what?" he snapped.
Aaron chuckled. "Look at him, being all shy~"

Ari's horse coincidentally sped up right as Lisa finished speaking, but Ari didn't say anything. He didn't even look at them, he didn't need to, he already knew they were both wearing a huge smirk.

Aaron snickered this time and nodded. "I don't think he realizes it, but he's so easy to read."
"Let's pick up the pace a little, if you don't mind!" Ari called over his shoulder. The castle was coming into view at the top of the hill and he sped up a little more.

Ari rode the horse straight through the gate and the courtyard, stopping just before the entrance to the castle. A swarm of guards encroached upon him trying to stop him from getting through, but he either kicked or punched them out of the way.
Aaron pulled up just after Ari dismounted and jumped into the fray. "Leave him be! This is an order from your captain! This man has urgent business with the king!" he ordered.

The door slammed open and Ari stood in the entryway with his foot still out. "Don't do it!" he shouted. Returning his foot to the ground, he slowly walked down the center aisle, his gaze fixed on Becca and Arti. Some hair fell over his eyes and he casually flicked it off to one side. "Don't. Even. Think. About. It." he repeated.

Ari returned the glare, still walking closer. "Well a little bird told me you had my queen trapped in a dungeon, so here I am to put an end to it," he said. "I believe you know what I am going to say next, but I'll say it anyway. I challenge you to a duel, your majesty."

"What's the arrogant look for? You really think you're going to win that easily?" Ari stood up straight and unsheathed his sword. "I'm ready when you are."

Aaron breathed a sigh of relief once he reached the entrance to the hall. He had just cleared away the guards in time to see the match begin, this was something he did not want to miss. Even though Ari had shown such confidence, however, Aaron couldn't help but feel a bit nervous.
Ari gave his surroundings a quick check. The center aisle was not the most ideal place for a duel, but it was enough room to move around in and if he did things right he'd be able to corner his brother. "So? You just going to stand there and stare at me?" he jeered, getting into his stance.

Ari did the same, holding his sword slightly to the side now. He ran straight on at Arti, but at the last moment before getting into striking distance he ducked and jumped around his brother, aiming a strike at his back.

Ari pressed against his brother's sword with all his might, a few sparks flying as the two metal blades scraped against each other. He took one step forward, then two, waiting to find an opening to exploit.

"So, I've been meaning to ask, when did you become king? What happened to mom and dad, huh?" Ari asked, shifting his grip to better push against Arti. He drew back for a moment but followed it up with a harder push and a kick aimed at his brother's stomach.

"For some reason I don't really believe that," he murmured. He blocked Arti's knee with the flat side of his sword and gave a great shove, aiming to knock him over while he was only standing on one foot.

Ari took the chance and lunged, swinging the sword in a wide arc. The blade came straight for Arti's neck, but stopped a hair's width away. Ari stared down at his brother, eyes full of contempt. "Looks like my win," he said.

Ari lightly pressed the edge of the blade against Arti's neck, but not enough to cut the skin. "If you want to keep your head, I suggest you go quietly," he said in a low voice. "Aaron, bring him to the dungeon."
Aaron jumped a bit at the sudden summons, and hurried over to Ari. "But I don't want to miss your emotional reunion with Becca!" he whined, quietly. "You two there! Bring this man to the dungeon!" he called, passing the task off to two other knights.
