This has been enabled for all members for a few days now and I didn't make any announcement partially to create confusion and partially because I'm an evil person.
So the question is "what's it all about?" Well it's a way of managing multiple mini profiles for posting on roleplays. This feature is only enabled on the roleplay boards. The name, rank, and avatar can all be modified. So that people know it's an alternate profile the background colour is changed. There is no* limit to how many you have so feel free to make many. *There is sort of a limit, if you reach it tell me so I can make alternate arrangements for you.
Next you might be interested in how you use it. Well, simply go to your profile by clicking the button on the menu space. You will see a tab saying "Roleplay Profiles", go there and now you're on the roleplay profiles editor. This will likely be changed because the interface is rubbish Next you'll want to fill out the Name and Avatar Url, the url is a direct url to the image. Note: the rank is optional. You can then click "new". New is used to make a new profile, save is used to save over an old one. Again, rubbish interface.
Once you've made one or many profiles, you'll see a drop down on the reply boxes in the roleplay boards, use that to change the mini profile of a post. You can do this as many times as you like. There are no limits concerning post count or rank. You can also test if you made the profile right on the drafts board as the feature is also enabled there.

Final note: This is in development and experimental. Any suggestions are welcome and will be detailed below at some point. |

For some reason, the roleplay profiles button won't show up for me. I've tried refreshing the page as well as logging out and logging back in, but it still doesn't show up.

Ah. I might try using another browser and see if it works. I am also using Windows 8, though I don't know if that has any relation to the problem.

Several of my profiles are glitching. I want to delete them, or edit them, or something, but nothing works. They turn up as a name (the name of the profile) but when you try and impute an image URL or rank, it will never save. So I have three useless ones with some variation of KID's name and an extra of my OC Percival's. Also, I noticed that if the characters "" are put into it, it will always glitch for me.
EDIT: And sadly the 'delete' option isn't getting rid of them either.

I don't know how this works, but would there be a way to customize default post style/template on other avatars (like one can on their main acc)?
because that would have so many amazing uses for roleplay headers 100%

i haven't got much to say b/c i'm not in many public rps but this new feature seems fantastic. it's a great way to make things unique and distinguish characters.
my only complaint is that if it's only enabled for the rp board, i can't use it in pm and that's were most of my rps take place. adding it there would be awesome.
