Virgo the Maiden
Virgo was brought into existence from the earth, a sculpted statue that was brought to life by a thunderstorm, lightning that had struck her had brought this beautiful maiden to life. A divine spirit that liked humans and the animals that related to the humans, she had dedicated her services to bring these creatures the most pleasing lives possible. Though whomever she served, her image would alter to whatever they thought was the most beautiful, while keeping her original form to stay true. She did not always have the chained shackles upon her wrists and ankles, as they were a side effect to the sins of Greed, Wrath and Pride. When the Deadly Sins had came into existence, humans were no longer always friendly, they always wanted more, they always wanted to inflate their ego, to take out their anger in an unjust way. Thus, the chained shackles appeared. The hand-cuffs and ankle-cuffs that attach her to her chains are from that of Pride, showing that humans will have the urge to use her for their own purposes to make them look better. The chains of her hands are from that of Greed, to show that their want for more and never having enough will chain her hands to do whatever they wanted. The chains of her ankles are from that of Wrath, to show that she could never run away from the unfair anger taken out in such an unjust way. Eventually, she broke out of these chains and symbolized her independence of her own character, knowing the limits to such actions. She used the chains that had kept her down to get her away from such enemies, making these shackles into tools that awakened her to the ability of how the earth moved and how it formed. The first gem that she had found was that of a sapphire, one that she made into her own gem to show of her beauty, that she was worth more than that of just some maiden servant.
For those whom are born with Virgo's blood within her, they are often allowed one gift, one thing that they would like most in this world. Upon the prayers to her, there can be a brief moment in time where she awakens and answers this maiden's call. Though it can be used only once, she will awaken to save that of her only maiden alive at the current time era. She will take this maiden wherever she wishes to go, under the condition that she will never be able to call upon the Celestial Zodiacs for help again, and that her chains will forever hold her down after this. In sight, the current living maiden will give up her only chance at escaping the curse of the zodiacs or breaking the spell within her blood, to never become normal even if a new generation comes. She will be forever to work as one of the zodiacs for as long as she lives. This is a one-time offer and should only be used upon a time of dire need. She can choose to travel anywhere, with anyways. Everyone will black out and be taken under the Original Maiden's wings, to travel to the spot that the current Maiden desires. When they all awake, their clothes will be clean and fresh, any wounds will be properly treated and there will be a nice set of drinks and food. This is known as the Maiden's Gift, a secret among all those with the Celestial blood of the Maiden. Only found at a great time of need, this is a gift used only once in her life.

What Sagittarius had said about something he’d seen piqued Natsumi’s interest, but she decided for the moment to be patient and ask about it when everyone was there. That way they could all find out what Hotaru had to say.
At Kitamura’s suggestion that they leave the older Celestial being to his devices, Natsumi gave a quick nod before addressing Hotaru.
“All right, then, that all sounds delicious. We’ll leave you to it.” She said with a smile before bowing out of the situation with Scorpio.
She highly doubted that the twins hadn’t been involved in the shower escapade, but then Hotaru liked to think the best of people. Or so it seemed to Natsumi, anyway.
She listened to a bit of the conversation between Gemini and Pisces until she heard Kitamura talking quietly to her so only she’d hear him.
“Yeah.” she responded softly “let’s just relax in the dining room.”
She honestly didn’t care where they went, she just wanted to reax. And besides, Scorpio was good company, so she didn’t see why she would refuse his company. Especially since she didn’t really have anything to do until breakfast was ready.
The house was still pretty quiet at that moment, so Natsumi thought she might have woken up even earlier than she’d at first thought. That was nice, though. She liked being awake when there weren’t many people up. It was peaceful.
And the day was so beautiful, too, with a blue sky and fluffy clouds. After a little bit of time to wake up, Natsumi was beginning to feel much more positive than she’d felt previously.
(Again, pretty short, but yeah x)

Scorpio "Supporting another's success won't ever dampen yours." resilient, dramatic, wise, passionate — ❦ ❦ ❦ —
Deftly twirling one of the seats around, he sat on it backwards, using the back of the chair as an armrest and letting his chin lean against the back of his arm. It wasn’t a typical way of sitting down, he was aware of it, but there were times he found himself subconsciously positioning himself as he was now.
Had there been a few more individuals within the room, he most likely would’ve still been bounding around, speaking with his expressive, vivacious voice and reacting dramatically to a banter that was usually naturally evoked, but he was alone with Virgo at the moment, and when he was alone with a different zodiac, he was a little more collected, as evident by the quietness that he indulged himself in.
With that in mind, instead of tossing his hand melodramatically at a whimsical statement that most likely would have been something along the lines of “Kohaku, you are by no means an artist,” he found himself silently surveying the sight that was being offered outside. The vastness of the sky seemed to allow a part of him to relax his slightly strained muscles. Gods, he hadn’t realized it before, but his back felt cramped as did his neck. Perhaps he’d slept in an undesirable position.
When he glanced over at the maiden, she seemed to be in thought, and he tipped his head a little with a subtle and light curve forming upon his lips. He was quite fond of Natsumi, which would most likely explain why he was currently so nonchalant and complaisant with a certain degree of carefreeness. There wasn’t a transparent wall or barrier that he himself had created, and as such, the air around him remained as it usually would, though it was a little more hushed.
“You seem to be in thought. What are you thinking about?”

The Gemini Twins "We don't hang out with anyone and we certainly won't hang out with you." 〤 ⇀↠ 〤 ↞↼ 〤
With a simple shrug from both Katashi and Satoshi, the two boys seemed to brush off her remark about her getting older, acting as if it were something obvious. A gentle playful teasing of theirs, though a bit on the rude side of things. Of course, this wasn't nearly as bad as what they could get like, as they could be quite terrible sometimes. Their teasing with Haru, at the moment, seemed to be more playful rather than harmful. Meaning they weren't really bored of her quite yet. Emphasis of the "yet" part of that sentence. People were like toys, you threw them away once you got bored of them. At least, that was how it worked with the twins.
"I wouldn't be surprised if we found gray hairs in your hair brush, obaasan," Katashi stated with a teasing tone that was border-line rude, though from his facial expression he wasn't entirely going after her. Out of the two twins, he was definitely the one who initiated the rude remarks or the plans on pranks. While they were close enough to practically read each other's mind, they were still different beings. Right now, it was just them in their own little world to do with everything as they pleased. "Oi, oi, you should get a mirror can check that out." There was that signature sneering remark of a Nekiyuko twin. Couldn't do something without their signature prick move or line, now could they?
Satoshi seemed to pick up on it right away, following his twin's lead. Leaning heavily on the elder Gemini's shoulder, he looked at Haru with a bit of a playful sneer. Of course, this was as friendly as they got. "I think I see a few gray hairs right now, Katashi. My, my, and you are only a year older than us. Pisces, you age as fast as a fish. I'm surprised you're still standing." Now it was starting to get border-line of their playfulness. Of course, it was a hidden question, to see how far they were going to take this little "joke" of theirs, to see how far they were going to test their limits on this "play thing" of theirs.
"Don't get too stressed over statements, obaasan, wouldn't want to give you a heart-attack." There was a sort of gentle hidden tone to Katashi's voice as he picked up not even a second after Satoshi had spoken, fluidly speaking as if they were the same being talking with different forms. Which probably wasn't too far from the truth as Gemini twins. "Perhaps the threat isn't out there, but rather, it's in here. If we're to go off of our signs for aging..." The elder twin shared a look with his brother, kind of one of "those" looks.
"... then we might be immortal." Satoshi looked back at Haru with a shrug (Katashi did the same motion at the same time), giving her a slight wink. "Cats have nine lives after all. More than what I can say for fish." Resuming to lean on his twin, moving over to his right side and leaning on that shoulder, his chin propped up with his elbows folded over his twin's shoulder, the younger of the twins glanced pointedly at Katashi. "Say, Katashi, don't tigers swim?"
"Ah, they do. Some wild cats actually fish in streams, don't they, Satoshi?" Now they were definitely beginning to pick on her. Their stormy blue gazes went down to Haru with a sort of sneering look, though there was still a bit of playfulness. "We're predators, obaasan, we can take care of ourselves. Cats have nine lives and since we're twins, that essentially means we have eighteen. Put that into the factor that we're Celestial Beings, at least, half-way so, and that could make thirty-six lives at the very least." Reining back, taking a step back from their rather intense teasing, it seemed like they had stepped on a line that they didn't quite feel like crossing yet. Still testing out the waters, so to say.
"And whatever's there would have to catch us first. We can disappear into thin air and shape-shift. Besides, no one can tell us apart, not even you. Why should we worry when we're the smartest beings around when it comes to playing tricks?" There was that dismal tone in Satoshi's voice for a few words there, a bit of attitude if you would like. This was their way of testing how far they can push someone. It meant that they were getting a little more comfortable with her. Not even to break down their protective wall that they had built up so high, but they were... getting somewhat closer. "Say, if you can tell us apart and tell us who is who without actually guessing, we'll come back by dinner-time today." Ah, a game. What a surprise.
Katashi's eyes seemed to light up with a daring sort of fire, his twin's eyes lighting up a bit as well. Of course, they wouldn't get their hopes up to think that they would be correctly identified. It hadn't really ever happened before and they never really expected it to happen. No one even could remember which one was the tiger and which one was the tabby cat. They just knew them as the Gemini Twins, Katashi and Satoshi. They were one item, and will it was true, it also would be nice to be known as their own being for once in their life. But what could you expect when not even your own mother could tell you apart?
"If you can't, then we do as we please until sunset. Tch, even we have our limits. Night-time is a feline's playground, but we have our own territory to mess around with when it comes to that." As speaking, both of them stood up straight and ruffled up their hair, brushing their bangs flat in their face so that there was no altered way that they could have their hair. Katashi was the one that had spoken out then, but as he moved, pushing his bangs and using a spare hair clip (did he always have that with him or was that just in his pocket the entire time?) to pin his bangs up, Satoshi doing likewise so they could actually see through their hair.
"Now, which one of us is Satoshi? Which one of us is Katashi?" Speaking in unison, at the same volume, with the same tone, it was hard to distinguish who was speaking on which side if you could even tell their voices apart to begin with. Their voices, like their Celestial forms, were ones that you had to figure out who was who first to be able to tell them apart. And in their high school uniforms, their gingery auburn mixture of hair with the bangs pushed and pinned up, looking, acting and speaking exactly like one another, it was near impossible to tell them apart. "We still won't hold honor to the agreement, but it's fun to see if anyone can do the impossible."
There was this neat little trick of theirs.
Whenever someone actually guessed right, they would still act as if they got it wrong, which always added to the confusion of who was actually who. Katashi and Satoshi had that sort of code between them that they didn't allow anyone to be right, especially when they had no explanation as to why they were being told apart by anything other than a guess.
So even if Haru did manage to get the answer right, it was still wrong. Their way of doing this sort of thing for any sort of deal was obviously rigged. But then again, no one knew any better and they weren't about to let the secret out anytime soon. So why bother with letting someone win by random chance? No, you had to earn your win with a valid argument and a valid reason.
"So which is it? Can you tell the Cat from the Tiger?"

Natsumi, too, seated herself, crossing her legs and settling herself in her seat. She watched as Kitamura twirled his seat around. Always so confident and sure of himself. Natsumi admired that - she had confidence when socialising with others, but self-confidence was a totally different thing altogether, something she felt she lacked. She noticed how much more relaxed the boy was around her than around larger groups of people, and Natsumi was also acutely aware that Scorpio had the very same effect on her.
She, normally described as quite an uptight young woman, a girl who worried too much and stressed herself out unnecessarily, generally found herself more carefree around him. She tended only to relax like this around people she’d known for quite a long time, or friends, so this was an excellent sign for her relationship with the other Celestial being.
She watched him turn to look outside, and found herself to be doing the same once again, admiring the beautiful weather. She only wished it would last all day. It might be nice to spend some time outside of the house that evening if the weather was still pleasant. They could all take a walk or something. The Celestial beings who went to school didn’t get as much time outside as the others except for when they were on yard duty. She was sure eveyone would appreciate a chance for a little bit of fresh air without having to rake leaves to do so.
She was now aware of Scorpio askig her a question. He was asking her what she was thinking about. She supposed she must look quite thoughful. She was thinking about things, a lot of things.
“Oh, I was just thinking how nice it would be for everyone to go out this evening, maybe for a walk or something. The weather’s so nice. And I was wondering what Hortaru waa talking about when he said he wanted to talk about something with everyone.” The girl replied
She was definitely intruiged, and she hoped she wasn’t the only one. She was already theorising on the matter, thoughts whirling through her head like a tornado, as they usually did when something inspired curiosity in Natsumi.

Scorpio "Supporting another's success won't ever dampen yours." resilient, dramatic, wise, passionate — ❦ ❦ ❦ —
“Oh, I was just thinking how nice it would be for everyone to go out this evening, maybe for a walk or something. The weather’s so nice. And I was wondering what Hortaru was talking about when he said he wanted to talk about something with everyone.”
Listening to the words Virgo spoke, he tipped his head just the side with an inquisitive light within his eyes before he felt the smallest hint of a smile take ahold of his lips. “Ah, you mean about what he saw yesterday?”
After briefly resting his eyes together, he let them return to the window where trails of the morning wind snuck in (someone had forgotten to close it, hadn’t they. Then again, many of them tended to forget the little, meticulous details that went around in the house, and he would be a liar if he said he had never been guilty of doing the same before). He then leaned his chin against his arm once more as he, too, allowed his thoughts to roam over to Sagittarius’s words.
“I was gonna ask everyone 'bout somethin' I saw the other day…”
“I certainly can’t say,” he answered her with a puzzled curl of his lips as he draped his form a little more over the back of the seat so that his lips were concealed behind his skin. “We’ll have to wait and see. All I can hope for,” he continued with the same twinkle in his eyes, “is that it doesn’t bear any bad news.”
“I was just thinking how nice it would be for everyone to go out this evening.”
He silently agreed. It would certainly be a change of pace to their usual mundane routine. Whatever mundane meant these days, anyway. As he indulged himself in the comforting silence that nestled in between them, he shifted his position so that his forehead touched the back of his arm, and he found that, though no one could currently see his expression, his eyebrows were knitting together to form a furrow between his brows. Natsumi had said everyone, hadn’t she?
It was odd, and he couldn’t exactly decide why, but he found his thoughts flickering back to the twins and their mischievous smirks, their sharp remarks and their oftentimes biting words. Was Haru still speaking with them? It was easy to imagine her sitting there on the couch where she had been with the patience of an owl, her demeanor languid and her smile calm, albeit a little lonesome and enigmatic alone.
A veiled and lone wolf, he was reminded once again. A veiled and lone wolf that had a heart with a plethora of affection to spare. In a way, she was similar to him; the fact that they were willingly affectionate of others surely meant some damage on their end in that not everyone was willing to open the same way as they did. They expressed this fondness of theirs very differently at different times, but in the end, the result was the same: they had to be prepared for a one-sided interaction, without paying close attention to the consequences, or they would have to alter their own personalities severely. In a way, being somewhat open-hearted was almost like a different defense mechanism for himself, he realized.
He found himself brought back from his reverie from the sound of a stronger breeze that passed by their home, but he still found that a part of his mind remained there in the sitting room, where no doubt Satoshi, Katashi, and Haru would be.
But he turned his thoughts back to Natsumi, and he raised his head a little. “Go out, hm?” He maintained the slight smile of his lips. “If you could be a little more ambitious and you could travel anywhere you wanted in a moment’s notice, where would it be, Natsumi?”

Pisces "Be whoever you want to be." erratic, mysterious, alluring, talented — ♔ ♔ ♔ —
Their words flowed together like a river, endless, unstopping, and fluid, letting no jutted rocks nor pebbles disconnect their polished rhythm. Like an orchestra, it was impossible to interrupt or intercept with a trivial detail or remark, so she let it happen, unraveling one after another, connection after connection.
And yet, even as their test took a slightly rougher edge, leaning against the silver line that separated mischievousness with cattiness, any bystander watching the scenario would be able to understand that there seemed to be little to no restriction that the small woman displayed nor revealed with her gestures or actions. She remained silent where she sat, listening and watching with her eyes never quite avoiding those of the two gleaming blue orbs; there was nothing to hide nor avoid.
And for that moment, it wouldn’t be peculiar to say that she was the embodiment of patience; call it an influence of her divine blood the demeanor the Celestial Pisces ultimately illustrated, but she did not mirror the sneers or the jabs, and the tranquil air encircling her certainly did not, either. Her delicate features remained the same, quiescent and breezeless yet attentive and focused. There was a gentle amusement that was reflected within her own dark eyes in the midst of the tolerance, but at that moment, nothing was deflected nor disregarded. She was watching them, meeting their gaze, not as an overpowering individual or an omnipotent source or a domineering being, but as an equal who was accepting of, not just their intensified teasing, but also their very presence itself all the same. A mediator, not a crusader, a listener, not a speaker. Maybe a bit of a chider, too, but usually, she understood herself that she was one of the individuals here who tended to tolerate their manipulations most of the time.
Glancing down at her small hands, which rested upon her knees, she finally spoke with her velvety voice. “All of us are partial Celestial beings, Katashi, Satoshi, and yet here we are with a knife in our hand, separated from civilization and preparing for the worst. Even the best predators fall when a situation or opponent offers great disadvantages. Who’s to say that we won’t?”
"Say, if you can tell us apart and tell us who is who without actually guessing, we'll come back by dinner-time today."
Ah, a game. In that case, she couldn’t back out, could she? Especially since there was something worth betting for - a prize that was worth the cost: the selfish reassurance of knowing that they would be back. But she already knew what she was going to say; she understood that she had as she watched the challenging fire light up within Katashi’s blue eyes. It felt peculiar, but it felt as if she always had known.
As they brushed their hair and tousled their locks, clipping stray strands back, she drew in a small breath before exhaling quietly.
"Now, which one of us is Satoshi? Which one of us is Katashi?”
“You’re the Tiger,” she answered almost with no beat of hesitance as she indicated the elder twin with her dark eyes, “and you’re the Cat,” she said as her gaze danced over to meet those of Satoshi. After a momentary pause to her response, the smallest hint of a smile touched her lips, though it was most evidently tinged with what bordered on genuine rue and something even more indescribable. “That’s what I’d like to say, but I’m afraid it’s based on intuition; I’d be lying if I said I knew everything there is to know.”
Separately, however, internally, she thought she caught glimpses of their demeanors and quirks. Exteriorly, their choice of clothing and hair and voice differentiated them, telling a different tale of their own. Katashi wore darker articles of clothing; Satoshi wore lighter shades of color; Katashi was a little more snarky with his comments, initiating most of their remarks with an attitude; Satoshi tended to lean more against Katashi, naturally, with nothing to misplace his movements. She thought, with everything she’d seen, she caught small glances of who they were - not just only the one entity they were sold across as, but also as their own individuals. They were one, yet they were different. But it was true (she had no intention of lying to the faces of the individuals whose wellbeing meant the escape of an elaborate nightmare) that together, here as they were, it was arduous to leave it to the God of chance to guess which individual was which.
“However,” she said as she rested her chin against her propped up hand with her elbow upon the couch’s armrest. She glanced down at the table that sat in the middle of them before she let them close together completely. “If you’ll let this old obaasan tell you a bit of her thoughts, this is what I think.” Opening her dark orbs, she regarded both Katashi and Satoshi as she said very gently, “Being so identical is a talent itself, but you mustn’t also forgot that you’re independent individuals with your own personalities. Even the brightest stars harbor their differences, Katashi, Satoshi, and I won’t stop until I’ve figured it out. So you can be expecting me to bother you until I have, and I won’t take a no for an answer.”
Rising to her feet, she rested her hand on her waist as she said, “With that said, it’s my loss. I won’t hold you down from doing as you please until sunset. As long as you’re safe together, I won’t stop you. Oh, and I wouldn’t recommend diving in any body of water so casually,” she said, glancing over her shoulder in their direction with a small twinkle in her eyes. “Some of us can bite.”
