Drake laughed. "Oh please, you don't want to know what I was doing at five." Because none of it was good, or even remotely appropriate. "Hey, as long you aren't arrested or, I dunno, doing illegal-y things, you're a great role model!" He may have changed his opinion had he known about her list and some of the crazier things she did, but for now, Drake thought she was the bee's knees of role models.
"I wanna meet guys." Drake whined. "I will exchange my guys for your guys, and by my guys I literally just mean Mason, so it really isn't that great of a deal." He laughed.
"I sense that there is some unspoken thing going on here..." He said, referencing the seemingly meaningful looks back and forth that, although he didn't know this, referenced Kyle. Drake was suspicious, although his suspicion only lasted so long before he got distracted.
"Bring it on. You haven't even played. I'm just going to take off my shirt and my pants so they don't hit the lasers." True story. Baggy clothes were the worst thing when you were playing in the laser maze.

Most people seemed to want to be cool. "Please tell me you are kidding and not coming over for another sugar high rush." Jace groaned. "Or go ruin your house, not ours." Ash hadn't expected to have Chase's arm around her, or to pretend to date him, but she figured why not mess with Jace? "Yes, we're madly in love now. Isn't that right?" She would have inserted some gross nickname, but couldn't think of any. "Oh you have got to..." Jace took in a deep breath to relax himself. Sometimes, Ash really tended to push his buttons, but he knew he needed to push pass this... and mess with her back. "So, if you two are dating, prove it." Ash hesitated. "I'm sorry, prove it?" "Yeah, otherwise I don't believe you. Y'know, prove it... like... umm... whatever proving it means." Jace said, unable to think of any of the very good, potential options. He looked at Zia. "Back me up here and then we can leave." He whispered to her, rather loudly. |

"It's kinda his thing," Chase said. "But enough about my brother. We're talking to yours now and he clearly missed the memo that we were dating?" he asked, pulling Ash closer to him. "I even bought you ice cream."
"No, you see. I have a little sister. She's six. I have to be a good influence and a sugar high would not be beneficial. Sorry, bro, but Ash and I planned another sugar fest for next week. I'll be providing the cake. She's got juice. Feel free to join us," he said, sending a playful smirk in Jace's direction.
He knew he other boy wouldn't accept it.
"What? You don't honk I'm good enough for your sister?" He asked, but paused at Jace's request. "I will prove it," he said.
He faced Ash. "I love you, sweetie," he said. He knew it wouldn't be enough to please Jace but he didn't want to just outright kiss her. It seemed rude. He just hoped Ash would get his implication and expect a kiss next.
Of course it didn't mean anything. They were just friends trying to mess with her brother, right?
His brown eyes locked onto Ash's trying to pass some kind of message that kissing her was the only way to prove to Jace that their dating story was true.

"I am an amazing role model," Kris lied, thinking to what exactly she's let Jordan get away with, as well as what she's let Jordan convince her to do. So long as Richie didn't exactly know what she occasionally did, she figured he would continue to think her a good sister. With exaggerated reluctance, she handed Richie off to Jordan. Richie accepted the new designation easily, wrapping his arms around her neck.
"Um, yeah, I don't think I'll exchange any guy for Mason," Kris said, making a face. Then she paused. Actually, Mason might actually be better than Kyle. "Hmm... nah, no deal."
She looked at Jordan and smirked, nodding. "Of course. Well, maybe not, but it'll definitely help to at least meet people. And like, stay far, far away." She just wanted Jordan to get over Kyle. He wasn't really anything special, and he wasn't a good person. Mason, at least, just made very bad choices. And he was a bit of a bad person, but maybe she was just being biased. She pointedly did not acknowledge Drake obviously being suspicious.
"But are you flexible enough to pull it off?" Kris asked, leaning forward with a grin. "Are we going to make this a competition? I'm totally prepared." She wasn't actually all that competitive, but she did kind of want to win.

Jordan took the child, holding him tightly. She normally wasn't a huge fan of children. They were boring and adults got mad if you weren't responsible and mature around them, but she'd always had a soft spot for Richie. "I say I'm the best role model. I can teach him how to have fun," Jordan said.
"Who's Mason?" Jordan asked, looking between the two. She then turned to Kris. "Where is he on a scale from James Parker to Kyle Kadinger?" she asked. Though she had never dated James, Jordan had had a major crush on the seemingly perfect guy. A scale from Kyle to James was the perfect scale for rating guys.
"Okay, that may not be wrong. At least here, of all places, is like the least likely place for me to be," she said, picking her words carefully around Drake so she didn't talk about East Grove or Kyle.
"Competition? Now you losers really need to step aside. We got four people. Let's go in teams. Me and Richie. Drake and Kris," she said. She had no idea of Kris was planning on bringing her brother song, but she figured it'd be easy to lift Richie over or around lasers before she directed her own body around them.
"So, legs figure out a plan. We need to do this laser maze, grocery shopping, cart races, and have our talk," she said to Kris. "What order do you want to do stuff?"

{Sure! Sorry, I'm still at this party so I'm still taking a while. And this is super short >.<}
Keilana was oddly excited for this plan of theirs. She hadn't done anything like it before, and while she was nervous about being caught, she still wanted to do it. It was nice that she had someone with her too. She wanted to have fun. She didn't have fun nearly enough, and with a new friend made it better.
She maybe tried a bit too hard to look good, but she justified herself by saying that they were going on a fake date anyway. She always liked to look good when she went out, but since it was a "date" she tried a bit harder. She included a small bit of make-up, though not a lot.
Her parents had work, so she was home alone while she waited for Arlo. They had texted their plans on what to do, so now it was just a matter of heading down to the restaurant. Her stomach was turning, but she didn't know if it was nervousness or excitement.

Arlo spent plenty of time making himself look the part of a loving boyfriend about to propose. He was just glad Chase was out with Ash and wouldn't bother him about this.
He had brushed his hair, though he let his facial hair grow a bit, and put on one of those fancy looking jackets over his shirt and tie. It was technically Chase's jacket but it fit him just fine.
"Thanks, Lizzy. See you later," he said, giving the babysitter a big grin.
"What's the plan, Arlo? You're looking fancy," she commented, looking him up and down.
"Just going to audition for a play. The part of a loving boyfriend," he said, laughing.
He left and had stopped to pick up a cheap bouquet. Hey, he wasn't going to spend a ton if they did this multiple times.
He stopped outside of Keilana's house and nervously fingered the box in his pocket that contained his mother's ring. He'd get it back in her jewelry box before she returned home from her trip to Canada.
He texted her to let her know he was in the driveway.

{Ugh it's midnight and I'm exhausted but I decided that I should at least write a response before I sleep}
Keilana looked at her phone when it went off and headed outside, locking the front door behind her. She bounded up to Arlo's car and grinned as she got in. "Well hello!" she said cheerfully. "You clean up well. I'm not much of a fan of facial hair, but I guess it's to help you look older." It worked for their plan, even though she didn't care much for it.
She spotted the bouquet and raised an eyebrow. "Oh, that's lovely. Not really sure what I'd do with that though." She never really knew what people actually did with bouquets they got on dates. Did they leave them inside? Did they take them with them? She could never figure it out. It was a nice gesture though, if incredibly unnecessary considering they weren't actually dating.

Drake laughed. "But can you teach him to have fun safely and legally." He had not learned to have fun safely or legally, but wasn't that what made it fun? The joy of doing it, and then running from the cops?
"James and... Kyle what now?" He shook his head before answering her question. "Mason is my older brother, so imagine me," Drake gestured to his face, "as an older, attractive bad boy with a secret soft side." He'd had much practice describing to people who Masom was.
"Let's do it!" Drake grinned. "I know the girl that's usually there running it. She'll totally let me go through it without clothes and," he looked at Kris, "I am so flexible, sometimes people confuse me for a snake because I can just wobble like I have no spine." He didn't actually know if snakes had a spine.
Drake figured he'd just be there for the laser maze, so he waited to hear how they were planning things.
((Y'know, I could see Drake being surprisingly flexible because of how active he is. XD))

Jace was obviously annoyed. "I will be packing up my stuff and staying somewhere else. I need sleep." And when Chase said love, Jace just about gagged. "It's been one day!"
Ash shrugged at her brother. "What can I say? True love happens quick." There was no way Jace could be following for this, right? Did he really think Ash was the kind of person to jump into a loving relationship that quickly?
"I love you, too," Ash hoped she sounded convincing. She caught on to Chase's plan, or at least hoped she did.
She had kissed plenty of people in her lifetime. Back in the day, she used to be a master of spin the bottle, but she'd never had to kiss someone to prove something to Jace which, for some reason, made it more difficult and nerve-racking... At least, that was why she was nervous, right?
Had to be. But it was just a kiss, just to mess with Jace. Ash was a master of meaningless kissing.
So she stood up, a little on her tippy toes (assuming Chase is taller), and pressed her lips against his in a perfectly meaningless kiss.
Jace, unamused, took Zia's hand and walked away, grumbling some nonsense under his breath.

He kept one hand on the wheel and pulled out the box with his mom's ring. "This is the ring you'll be using, but make sure to be careful. It's one of my mom's favorites and the only one she has that could pass as a wedding ring, so just don't lose it, okay?" Arlo asked. He handed her the box to let her look at the rig while he drove. |

((I was thinking either Chase or Ash, since right now they're thinking they're just friends, could start dating someone else. Like, maybe just some little dates, nothing really extreme.
But the other one gets jealous or something, and realizes their feelings.
And from there, they realize how much they like each other and go from there? XD If that makes any sense?))

Zia didn't exactly have a lot to contribute to this conversation, so she spent most of the time standing there, watching everything unfold, until Jace grabbed her hand and started pulling her away.
"Bye, guys!" She called over her shoulder politely before looking at Jace. "Do you think they're serious?" She asked.

Chase hadn't done much in the way of kissing. For pictures and dares and to get what he wanted, he might've kissed a few girls in his time, but none had mattered to him as much as Ash.
He had been debating whether or not he should actually go through with kissing her, but he didn't have to. She reached up and kissed him. Chase kissed her back before turning to Jace and watching him walk off with Zia.
He was surprised that Jace had fallen for their trick, but he grinned.
"See ya later, brother," he laughed. He lifted one hand and waved at Jace and took Ash's hand with the other.
