{I've honestly just been under the assumption that Arlo's name has been Arlington this whole time lmao.
I had an appointment so I couldn't get on until now whoops ^^;}
Keilana blushed at the compliment. She usually found herself blushing at compliments, and the only reason she hadn't when Arlo complimented her was because she had been caught up in considering it progress in their friendship. "Oh, could I have chocolate?" she asked politely. It was a far cry from how she was with Arlo. It was all too easy for her entire demeanor to change now that she was talking to someone new. In fact, it was pretty much an automatic change for her.

((As it turns out, there is a street next to my boyfriend's called Arlington and it almost made me squeal. XD)) ((*pats Drake* Looks like you've done your job and everyone already loves you and literally all you've done is comfort Mia and try to get her to steal a pallet of candy and talked potatoes with Jack. XD Which means I can unleash my master plan at any time. *evil laughter again* Anyone, I'm cooling with wrapping things up whenever you all want to. XD I'd say we could skip to the next day of school, but we need a next day epilogue of Chase and Ash waking up, sugar wasted.)) Drake stuck his tongue out at Mia. "You're no fun, but... alright. Mason told me to never turn down anything free, especially candy." Now that Drake was saying it, it almost sounded like Mason had been trying to get him kidnapped by some guy in a white van offering him candy. He'd have to speak with Mason about this later but for now, he checked the time on his phone. "Woo. It's getting late. Let's get this candy quickly." Drake said and rubbed his hands together in excitement. -- "Yeah, I totally have the same problem with my friends." Jace laughed since it was a joke because he had no friends. He walked over and dropped to the ground beside Sophia, starting to help her fashion a sand castle. "It's sad that when you get older, making sand castles is frowned upon. I mean, they're fun. Why do we, as teenagers, have to spend our entire time at the beach tanning?" Well, maybe Jace should spend a day or two tanning at the beach to get rid of that strange paleness that the poor kid had. -- "Sure. To all of... that," Ash laughed and clinked her juice box to Chase's before sipping it until it ran out. How many juice boxes had she been through? She'd lost count and looking around the balcony now, it looked like it had to be at least four. If not more. And the cake was almost gone... wow, Ash hadn't done anything like this since she was a kid. "Y'know, usually you can't get me away from parties, but I'm glad you did because this has been the most fun I've had in a while." (what better way to make friends? And also I just let Mia suffer. Waffles is fine. Don't worry about him) "That's good advice as long as you're careful who you're taking candy from," Mia said. She didn't want Drake to get kid napped by taking free candy from the wrong person. Jack's keys magically appeared in her pocket so she'd have a way to drive them to the store. "Shall we go?" she asked, twisting the door knob and leading the way out of the house. "We're taking Jack's car cause mine's at home and I really don't want to walk right now," she said with a laugh. She unlocked the car and hopped into the drivers seat. *** "Here, we can go tanning together during the day and build sand castles at night. It's the best of both worlds," Sophia said, noticing that jace was rather pale. She tanned well, but knew Jack and Mia both suffered from pale skin. Sophia finished the tower she was working on and found a cool rock to to top it off. She then started on a tower. "Ooooh, we should build a moat," she said, starting to dig out a most for their castle. *** "I'll take that as a compliment," Chase said, starting to feel the sugar kick in. "But now I kinda wanna do something. Do you have twister? Twister would be fun. Or swimming. Or Red Bull. And birds. Do you have a pet bird?" he asked, talking rapidly as he cracked open another juice box. (I can't wait to see these two in the morning. Thy should just pass out next to each other I the middle of a hall to make them even more confused) |

"Alright, alright, alright!" Drake dismissively waved at her with his hand and hopped into the car with Mia, eager to get going to the store for candy. "I wonder what I'm going to get. I really like everything so this is a hard decision. Maybe I'll just close my eyes, spin in a circle, and then flail around until I touch some and choose that!"
The very idea was making him practically bounce in his seat. Well, not even practically. Drake was bouncing with excitement, quite literally, a habit he was known for doing.

"Sounds like a hard life, being at the beach all day, but I might just take you up on that." Jace said with a grin. His tower was kind of horrible and as he finished it, he grabbed a leaf from nearby and stuck it in the top with a "Tada!" expression and jazz hands on either side of it.
He looked over at Sophia's and was instantly disappointed in his. "Ok, yours is pretty cool, not going to lie. You are a master of sand castles and tanning."

"I don't have a bird but I do have a ferret but I don't think he likes Red Bull although I've never tried to give him Red Bull because why would you do that and give something Red Bull. Wait, we don't even have Red Bull." Ash hesitated, having forgotten where she was going with this conversation.
"I do have a pool, though. And twister! We could play water twister! Although you can't really play Twister in the water, can you? Unless you weighted it down with weights." She hopped out of her chair, juice boxes toppling to the ground and grabbed Chase's hand, pulling him off of the balcony and back into her house and leaving all of the empty juice boxes and cake behind.
"C'mon, c'mon. Keep shooting ideas. We can do everything tonight. All the fun stuff."

The parking lot was practically empty, but she spotted Amelia's truck. "We're in luck," she told Drew, nodding at it. "Jack's ex is here and she'll totally give us a tour of the back room," she promised.

"Water twister," Chase said, as if all his questions had been answered. "Um do you have a chandelier? We can swing from it. I've always wanted to do that. Or, like, smash something. But maybe not something so destructive. Let's find someone passed out and put make up on them. Or draw on them with sharpie? And maybe we can do it to Arlo too. I don't know where Arlo is but I'm sure he's being boring," Chase said, trying to think.
"Or," he paused for dramatic effect. "We can get more juice and cake. It'll be so good and we can keep this sugar rush going for like three days and it'll be amazing and I'll be productive and get stuff done," his mind was muddled but he seemed to have his priorities in order.
"Bathtub scuba diving!" Or not.

She disappeared into the kitchen and zarpo grinned when he added their cakes to his basket. "There. Two large sixes of cake for only $1.99. How could you go wrong?" he asked. He led the way to the checkouts, grabbing a soda and a snickers. "Yo," the cashier said, grinning when he saw Arlo. "New girl?" he asked, nodding towards Keilaba. "Yeah, she's new. Her name is Keilana. She's pretty cool," Arli said with a shrug. That was actually a huge compliment from him, though it seemed pretty casual. "Scott," the cashier said, introducing himself. His name tag said Bryce. He had lost his and had to use an old one. Bryce quit about 3 months ago. (I'm not correcting Arlo's name anymore so if you see something odd just assume it's his name XD) |

"Oh sweet, what are we waiting for?" Before the car was probably even in park, Drake was unbuckled and launching himself out of the car door, eager to go inside and on a sugar high of his own... although his wasn't caused by sugar, but either way, he wasn't tired in the least bit.
"Hurry up, Mia!" He called over his shoulder as he started into Wal-Mart, walking rapidly.

"Aren't there people that make sand castles professionally? I swear I've seen that before." Jace replied and flopped down in the sand next to her, for a moment making a sand angel before relaxing. "I wonder how the party's going. I hope Ash has everyone under control." He commented aloud, although that wasn't important.
The sand was a little cold, but it was also nice to relax and look up at the stars that shone brightly. "I think this is the best place in Westbrook to look at the stars."

"We can do all of that. We need to make a list so we don't forget something. We do have a chandelier, but I might get murdered if we break it and it's not hung up high enough that you could swing on it. Like, your feet would totally be touching the ground." Ash replied. She stopped by a closet, opening it up and pulling out boxes of other games until she finally found Twister. By this point, the party had cleared out, leaving them alone in the house. Which was probably good so no one would see the mess they were about to make.
"Three days? If we do this right, we could stay up forever and never sleep again. We'd be legends." Ash answered. That would be magical. "And then we would get so much stuff done and we could... we could... I don't even know! We could do everything." She laughed.
"I have scuba diving gear! Scuba diving in the pool while playing Twister."
((Someone call for help. They are gonna die.))

Mia laughed at Drake's eagerness and turned off the cat. She grabbed her purse, locked the door, and followed Drake into the store. Empty Walmarts at midnight were a bit eerie, but Mia made her way to the customer service desk.
"Amelia!" she said.
"Mia!" Amelia said, grinning when she saw her friend.
"I was wondering if you could give my buddy Drake a tour of the back room?" She asked.
Amelia glanced at Drake and nodded. "I literally don't care about rules anymore. Come on, Drake," she said, walking around the desk and leading them to the back of the store.

"We could do that," Sophia said. "We'd be pretty darn good at it and get to travel around the world having fun," she said, closing her eyes. Now that they were away from the party and calmed down, she realized how tired she was. She yawned.
"I don't want to go back home, but I'm tired," she mumbled, her eyes closed as she laid on her back and faced the stars.

"No, I've always wanted to do hat," Chase said, upset for only a moment. "Cool, lets find the scuba gear," he said, ripping open the twister box. He grabbed the pad and the spinner. "Well need to spin for each other," he pointed out. It seemed to be only the two of them still awake. Most people had fallen asleep or left.
Chase wasn't going to sleep.
He gasped. "We. Should. Go. To. School. And. Steal. The. Mascot. Costume," he paused after every word for dramatic effect, his eyes wide open as if he had just discovered a cure for he common cold or won the lottery.
(And they should crash soon cause I'm out of dirás for the sugar high)

"Thank you!" Keilana said to Bridget before quickly following after Arlo. "Geez, need any more sugar?" she muttered as she saw what he'd gotten. She loved sweets, but it seemed like a bit of an overkill. She gave him a look, but didn't say anything more. She'd criticize him in the car.
When Scott spoke to her, she smiled sweetly and waved. It was a little bit fake, but the smile was mostly genuine. She really just wanted to look nicer than she was. "Hi, nice to meet you!" She looked at his name tag, smile turning a bit puzzled, but decided not to ask. "I'm making this guy ditch the party to buy me cake," she said and pointed to Arlo, as though he hadn't wanted cake too.
