The island with separated from the land around it by a forked stream, and thick oak trees hid it's interior. If the local cats didn't know better, they would say that no cats lived there, but they all had heard tell of the clan that had been destroyed. Some of the clan cats remained however, keeping there strange customs, and their kind ways. They were not kind to all cats, obviously, but they guarded there kits, and abandoned kits they found fiercly, giving them only to those that had proved themselves. So the island had became a sort of shelter of sorts, ones where cats dropped of abandoned kits, for the shelter to give to better homes.
If you crossed the fallen log that led to the island, and pushed through he long reeds and weaved through the thick oaks, you reached a clearing in the center, one where kits mewed, and queens purred, and they guarded themselves with a kind sort of malice. There were many dens for visitors, and dens for kits of all sorts. The leader of this Shelter is a stout, young she cat named Thrushpatch. She's mostly black, with a bit of white and amber eyes. She's friendly and funny, but has a sharp edge to her. Her helpers are Tawnystripe, a queen and Greyminnow, Tawnystripes mate. They have their own kits, and Thrushpatch and Faststream look after the adoptable kits. There are 5 kits to be given away at this moment from this shelter. 2 toms, and 3 she cats.
SHE CATS
Name: Rushkit.
Difficulty: Easy
Age: 6 moons old
Description: Silver grey kit with blue eyes and long fur.
Personality: Rushkit is a larger, pretty kit, with an outgoing personality. Her parents left her at the shelter when she was young, so she hasn't experianced much of the outside world and its strugles. She loves to swim more than anything else. And keeps minnows in a puddle near the watter. Her parents were kittypets, but she couldn't have more discussed for that lifestyle. She just wants to swim and hunt and fight with her friends. She loves pretty things, like shells and feathers.
Name: Honeykit
Difficulty: Medium
Age: 5 moons
Description: Cream and white kit, with amber eyes.
Personality. Honetkit is a smaller, elegant kit. She takes great pride in her appearence, and can be seen as snobby and rude. She stays close to the center of camp, as she is scared of the water, and everything really, though she tries to hide it. She has the rare attribute of wings on her back, given to her by her parents, who flew away and left her. She has never flown though, she is too scared she will fall and break her neck. She had a hard childhood, and saw some rough stuff, and suppreses it by acting snobby and avoiding action. Honeykit also loves pretty things, but in her mind those include herself, and if she's being honest, her "Arch nemesis" Ivykit.
Name: Ivykit
Difficulty: Hard
Age: 7 moons
Description: Mostly white she cat with black markings.
Personality: Ivykit just wants to fight everything, including anyone who tries to take her from the shelter. (Unless there adopting Honeykit as well, shhh don't tell her I told you that) She had a rogue childhood as an alleycat, and loves the tree's that she never got to see when she was really young. Her parents were killed by a dog, and she lived on her own for a few moons, forming and leading a gang of kits in till the deadpan Faststream brought her back to the shelter a moon ago, along with another kit in this gang, Crowkit.
TOMS
Name:Crowkit
Difficulty: Medium
Age: 6 moons
Description: Black and brown tom with green eyes.
Personality: Crowkit is a scrappy, resoursfull little kit, who will side with whatever principles or leader keep him alive. He's fast friends with Ivykit, bit would quickly amandon her to get out of this place. He hates water, and being trapped on an island is not his ideal situation. He thrives in a group of cats, and would love to join one of the mistacly "clans" He's heard about, though he knows nothing about honer and the warrior code and would need to be taught that.
Name: Marshkit
Difficulty: Hard
Age: 5 moons
Description: A small brown, plain looking kit.
Personality: Marshkit is a polite, cute little kit, but whimpers when he goes to sleep and shivers in the corner when he meets anyone new. He tries to be polite to everyone, but stammers when he speaks and is easily scared. He will need a gentle paw.
