I think this is considered spam. At least, advertising threads always were on the old forums.

I think this is considered spam. At least, advertising threads always were on the old forums. I don't think it's spamming if you make it its own thread, maybe if you advertised it on someone else's thread. But I advertised clans with their own thread all the time on the old forums. It was definitely considered spamming on the old forums, I know from experience. Seems like they just never caught you doing it. Idk what the rules here are, though. I'm just guessing that it is, it seems logical. There were problems on the WCF of people making advertising threads for their clans in Warriors Misc. and clogging up the board with it. My logic is that if people are looking for a clan to join, they'll probably go to FanClans to look. Not OTD, they come here to discuss, if you catch my drift. |
