Her Past: Mystery.
Her Future: Unknown
Her Present life: Lonely
All three words seemed to described the small girl.
But one may wonder, why?

It was raining come the day of an almost catastrophe, and along with it, one girl felt the rain of tears. Across from her, another stood, a small grin placed upon their face. The kneeling, weeping girl had medium and spiky dark blue hair, and one evergreen eyes, and a cyan-blue eyes. The other had orange-red eyes, orange spiky hair, and a mocking grin. She was the one to speak.
"Isn't it a lovely rainy day?" She questioned, sending the smaller girl a knowing look. "I get it little Rain-bug, your too much of a loser to accept defeat, am I right?" she said mockingly.
"Shut up Vex." the smaller girl said, her cloak was slightly tattered, nearby, a girl lay passed out, her black spiky part soaked by water, yet blood curled from a wound on her arm.
"Sore loser, Rainne," Vex muttered, her dark red jeans, orange jacket, and long orange boots were clean, rather then small dots and specks of water and blood. But she remained mostly undamaged. "Enix deserved it, you two 'heroes' tried to stop me, it's not my fault you were too dumb to stop."
Rainne clenched her fists at the comment, looking briefly at her friend-Enix- who was like a sister to her. Yet her eyes glare back when Vex once again spoke.
"Look at yourself Rainne, you're too weak to do anything, your hurt, and you've barely touched upon your so called powers." Vex taunted, and turned to Enix. "She looks like she's in pain, maybe I should put her-"
"Don't say it." Rainne said through a choke of tears.
"I don't need to say, I just should do!" Vex said, turning to Enix's direction, lowly walking nearer, a orb of bright light forming in her hands.
Thunder passed the sky, blazing brightly, and Rainne opened her eyes. Now they were glowing, glowing a bright cyan, her tears lifted from her face, and the rain around her stopped falling, instead started spinning around her. Some of it froze, and some of it turned to mist. Yet as she walked closer to Vex, more water collected. As she stepped, plants with sharp thorns spiraled around her. A glare was on her face, and the area around her burned not in bright, but in glow of bright cyan.
Vex finally took notice, stopping, the light fading, and her eyes widened. "Wait, I thought you couldn't control it!" yet her shock vanished, and she got into a stance to attack. "More of a challenge now, I guess!"
More thunder, and Vex grunted as she jumped at Rainne, the skies behind her igniting in a bright light of lightning, edging on brim to strike on Vex's command. Yet Rainne simply raised a hand, the water beside her turning into a shield of ice lifting upward. As Vex's lightning stroke, the shield shattered, but before it hit the ground, it was turned to water by Rainne.
The fight continued, Vex throwing lightning or light orbs at Rainne, and Rainne easily blocking, fueled by anger. Nearby, a pair of indigo eyes flutter open, and Enix sat up, grabbing her arm and hissing in pain. But she turned her head to see the battle, and gasped at what she saw.
It was quick, Vex had went to attack, but vines had crawled up her legs. Rainne swiped her hands left, and water surrounded Vex then, quickly it came back to Rainne, and now Rainne wore a grin. Her hand pushed forward, and the water flung at Vex, forming an orb upon her and freezing into ice, only the girls head was out of it.
"Rainne!" Enix cried in joy, painfully limping to her friend, and the two gave one another a hug. Yet as the went to look at Vex, lightning crashed from the sky, hitting the orb and a loud crash came, the ice broke.
Both were blown back, and Rainne stood bewildered, looking forward, only to see shattered ice, smoke and blood.
"Is she-" Rainne choked, "Dead?"
"Doubt it, but I bet you won't have to see her anymore." Enix muttered, blinking and turning to Rainne. "We should get going." she said.
"I guess we should."

Sure. It doesn't have to be connected by the way. That was a tidbit from the past for Enix and Rainne that they keep hidden.

A flash of silver, a bit of blue, shrouded by darkness. The kid was tall, about 6', and was alone. Rain pelted at him, but he didn't have a jacket. He sighed. He looked up, searching for a sign that he wasn't alone in this. A crackle of thunder, a flash of lightning. His eyes were lost, dull, almost dead.
He felt a cold hand on his shoulder, but when he whirled around, no one was there. The hand gripped his shoulder harder.
