You wander through the whispering woods, light dappling the ground as the rose sunlight of dusk filtered through the canopy. The air is pleasantly cool against your skin, with the refreshing scents of peat, soft mist, and mint filling your nose. A soft, somewhat distant laughter breaks through the rhythm of twigs snapping underneath your feet. You see a log cabin a short distance away. Approaching the front porch, you see warm cream curtains on the other side of the windows, with peach flowers carefully embroidered on the soft cotton fabric. You begin to knock on the smooth umber door, but it creaks open at your first touch. Welcoming faces greet you as you enter. They're relaxing on the bean bags, hammocks and patchwork sofa that are spread around the room, swathed in soft blankets and leaning on fluffy cushions. The furniture has a comforting, worn feeling to it, as though each item had been loved and used by many groups of friends before. You wonder where the sweet vanilla smell is coming from, and your gaze lands on the incense sticks that are illuminated by pink and cream fairy lights. You hear footsteps from the back of the room, and see a figure appear from what looks like a miniature kitchen. Carrying excessive mugs of tea and balancing a packet of cookies in the crook of her elbow, you see a tall teenage girl with long brown hair and kind grey blue eyes. She smiles at you, and gestures with her slippered foot to take a seat while she hands out the tea. Chucking the cookies to one of her friends, she settles onto the sofa seat next to you and brushes a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "Hey! I'm Ellie," she begins, and proceeds to introduce the surrounding people. "Want to stay a while?"
