I totally agree.
When I first read about how he left I had felt bad for Leopardfoot and their kits without understanding why. Knowing why he did so makes it a bit better, in that he didn't leave for just being too tired of Clan life (not that that isn't a valid reason, but still nice to know it was deeper than that)
I really liked his novella.
I hate the whole destiny plotline. It shouldn't be up to anyone else how a cat lives their life, or how they turn out. But then again I don't believe in destiny anyways.
They did it with Tigerkit, Jaykit, and even tried with Bramblekit (when Fireheart had his doubt about him)

Like, I can just imagine how brokenhearted they were and then how happy they would be to get a new cat like that. But yeah, it was interesting to have the whole angle with not wanting to interfere with Tigerkit. TBH, I feel like StarClan dug their own grave so to speak when it came to Tigerkit. Yes, let's try to get his own father to kill him and say how evil this cat will be that'll make EVERYTHING better. :/ |

Nonetheless, Pinestar remains one of the leaders that I still like. |

I've always been sort of neutral/borderline like on Pinestar, even after reading PC. Although it is interesting how Doestar is the only one who tells Pinestar to be there for his son, while the rest of StarClan tell him to kill him, so it's just as possible that it could've been Pinestar's own mind turning against him (his old age, being on his last life, as well as plenty of other things couldn't have helped either).
What's even more interesting is that Vicky said that Tigerstar was always going to turn evil anyway, though Pinestar stating just might've made him less dreadful.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, StarClan is really corrupted, it's supposed to be cat heaven, but it never feels like it for some reason.
