@ Tiny: (Alrighty~! I'm really liking their friendship. uvu Rai could seriously use more friends the little antisocial kid.) Rai had been sitting in the back of the large room, having arrived pretty early on and getting a nice space where hardly anyone would bother him. He didn't have time to hit up his home before arriving, only wearing his one jacket and pants. The only thing he had on him aside from his clothing was his phone and a camera he had been using earlier. Sure things had gone bad really fast, but he had taken some really amazing photos. The Jolteon catches sight of someone he had meet before and hops up from his seating position, running off towards the Swadloon. "Heather!" He calls out as he approaches her and a man that Rai had not seen before.(Yesss have moar friends Rai at least he has smol leaf bug for now) Heather sat up at the sound of a familiar voice, nearly spilling her juice in the process. "Oh, Rai! I guess y-you came here, too," the swadloon said with a smile. Thankfully, the juice was warming her up enough so that she wasn't shivering like, well... a leaf. The leavanny next to her looked up at the electric type, to Heather, and back again. "By the way, this is Uncle Aspen. Uncle Aspen, Rai," she quickly added. Aspen gave Rai a small wave before focusing on his drink.

Scorch Concern took over Riley's features before Skylar could even finish what she wanted to say. Despite Skylar being a fire type, and a powerful one it seemed at that, Riley just couldn't bring herself to agree to let the girl go off on her own. What if there was an avalanche, and it brought down more than snow? What if Skylar was somehow hurt? No, she couldn't leave Skylar alone in this sort of situation. "I'm coming with you," she told the ninetails, a determined look in her eyes as she followed the older girl to the door. Allene had been about to respond to Skylar when her daughter spoke up. She turned and looked her daughter dead in the eye, mixed emotions playing out on her face. Pride. Worry. Fear. "Riley." Riley glanced at her mother. "I cannot just watch someone go off on their own without any help in a situation like this," she said, now turning to Skylar. "Don't get me wrong, I'm sure you can handle yourself just fine on your own, but there are some things you might not be able to face on your own if this really takes a turn for the worse. So please let me tag along."
( I was thinking the same thing as soon as I read Skylar saying she needed to get home. )

@ Wild: (Omg rip Moon. I really wanna draw this interaction now oh man.) Pyre opens the door when he hears Moon's distressed voice, looking at her with a slight smile on his face. "Okay, hold still." He says as he walks up to her, helping pull the hoodie down so that it was no longer tangled up. "Is there anything else you need help with? Do you want me to carry Midnight?" Pyre asks, looking Moon in the eyes. He looked worried and a bit scared, but there was determination there too. He needed to get Moon and Midnight to safety. "nah" she said throwing some food for herself that was also midnight-safe and such into her old black backpack. Her oversized hoodie pocket was empty before she looked at midnight saying "c'mere girl" and putting her in her pocket with a warm washcloth or two so the cub stayed warm even if she was old enough to not really need it. She said "lets go... Ill need you to let her sit on your lap in the car so i can focus on driving in this" she aaid moving to stand by the door.

And the second we're done securing my home, you're returning to your family." She didn't want to make them her enemies now. Not after that night. She opened the door and slipped on the jacket. "Come on. We're running there." She stepped out of the house, waited for Riley to follow her out, then took off at a run for her house.

@ Zubat: Tomoko/Yumiko“It’s a good thing you were watching the TV, sis.” The only response was a shrug. Tomoko didn’t feel like talking right now. They were working on opening up the hot springs, and this happened… so much for their goal of finishing today. And if the hail got bad enough, they could have some setbacks. That’d only make things take even longer. Yumiko picked up on her sister’s bad mood, but didn’t say anything to cheer Tomoko up. She knew how Tomoko could get with trying to give consolation; it just didn’t work. Tomoko had to get over it in her own way, in her own time. All Yumiko could do was act like normal, and show that things would be okay. “Well, I’m glad we’re making good time. We’re already inside the city, after all. And the hail’s getting a little rough! We could’ve gotten trapped in our house if we didn’t get such a good notice about the storm.” And yet… Yumiko made the mistake of not putting on heavier clothing. It was summer for crying out loud! It’s not supposed to get cold! Whatever! I’ve trained a long time to get strong. That includes enduring cold weather.“We should pick up the pace,” Tomoko spoke, despite not wanting to. She didn’t like the way the weather took a turn for the worse. They were still pretty far from the hospital, too. Taking their time wouldn’t cut it. And with that, she began to jog, not bothering to wait for a reply. OOC: I'm almost vibrating right now. Don't know why but everything's going a million miles a minute. BIC: Keegan had pulled the drawstrings on his hoodie so tight, that the hole for his face was really only big enough for his nose. He held tightly to June's hand as she pulled him toward the hospital, tripping over the ground because he couldn't see where he was going and she was going so freaking fast, "Keegan!" She snapped, pulling hard on his arm to make him go around the Gyarados and Milotic they were passing. "Ow!" He said, " June!" His arm felt like it had been pulled out of his socket. June paid him no mind, "sorry," she said to Tomoko and Yumiko, "I wanna get him to the hospital quick..." He'd probably be buried completely if they didn't.

@ Wild: Pyre nods his head in understanding as he moves to join Moon by the door, glancing out one of the windows to watch the hail for a moment. "You sure its safe to drive in this weather?" He asks with a worried look, shoving his hands into his jacket pockets. "Though I guess its probably better than just running through that weather. Its coming down pretty hard now.""I should be fine if i dont go too fast" she said nonchalantly. before sharply inhaling and dashing outside and jumping into the seat of her unlocked car.

Riley nodded in agreement with Skylar, then turned a reassuring smile on her mother. As Skylar left out the front door, Allene came forward and wrapped her daughter in a tight hug. "Be safe," she whispered in Riley's ear, brushing her daughter's hair back further up into her hat. "And pay attention to your surroundings." Riley smiled and nodded as she drew away. "Don't worry, mom," he hummed, zipping her coat up. It was her ranger's coat. "I've almost completed all of my ranger training! And you've taught me well." She backed toward the door. "I'll be just fine." "I know you will. Go." Riley looked hard at her younger siblings. "Mind mom," she said, then turned and ran out to be by Skylar's side. Once Skylar took off at a run, Riley quickly followed, finding it easy to keep pace with Skylar, though worrying that Skylar was going slower for her sake. "Go as fast as you need to," she said through steady puffs of air as they ran. "I'll be able to match you stride for stride."

(@ Zubat: Oh, that’s odd x.x I hope you’re okay.)
Tomoko/Yumiko Tomoko didn’t bother to say anything to the two strangers. Rushing wasn’t a bad idea, but going too fast could just make things worse. But, whatever, not like she cared. Yumiko, on the other hand, decided to offer some help. She gave Keegan a quick inspection. “Want me to help? I could carry him for you.” This could make up for missing out on training while the hot springs were being set up. She could definitely carry this boy; he couldn’t be more than what, 13? And the weight of someone his size wouldn’t slow her down much, if any. The Milotic sighed. Of course Yumiko would offer to help. Then again, that just showed she was kind, didn’t it? Yumiko always seemed to care more about the village than her. “At the very least, we may as well stick together. Four is better than two,” Tomoko admitted. And she really didn't like the idea of being stuck out in this place any longer than possible. The hail started to hurt, even!
(@ Pokemon: Ah, don’t worry about how long it’ll take. You know I’m patient X) I understand you’re having a bit of stress troubles, so I wouldn’t try to rush you or anything .3. And, I’ll post up a starter as well, to make things a bit easier for you. Starters are always annoying, so XD I’ll take care of that.)
Ian The man stayed as far away from the main crowd as possible. Of all the times for some stupid emergency to happen! Now he’d be stuck in a building with literally every other person in the entire town for Arceus knows how long? Anger bubbled inside, yet there wasn’t anything he could do to get rid of it. He couldn’t just go and break stuff, that’d cause a scene. And not to mention it’d waste energy he’d need if the hailstorm got bad enough. He sat down in a corner, gazing at the crowd. So many worried and puzzles expressions… but for what reason? A hailstorm wouldn’t kill anyone, it’d just be an inconvenience for a few hours at worst. Or… maybe… They’re worried about each other. They have people they want to protect.

It was not a good day for young Ira.
The evening before, the entire Lumiose Laughter Orphanage had boarded a plane, and had stayed airborne throughout the entire night, not landing once. Not able to get a wink of sleep, Ira had to stay awake the entire flight; throughout the babies crying, children that weren't a part of the orphanage kicking the back of his seat, and some of the passengers getting sick. The couple of times that they'd hit turbulence was on its own unsettling, but even more jarring as an older lady a few seats ahead of them screamed and insisted that they land before they crashed and all died. Even after she had settled down, her shrieks and wails had startled some of the younger orphans on the plane, and the tension and fear that swirled around the cabin remained until the plane finally landed early the next morning.
From there, the orphans waited in the airport for around an hour for their ride to finally arrive. The bus they got on was long and, while comfortable, sort of crowded as the thirteen children, two babies, and their three escorts tried to get settled in for the drive that was only supposed to last for two hours. And then, of course, they got stuck in traffic for five. By the time the bus had finally gotten in Shimaka, everyone was tired, exhausted, and just done with this transfer.
They had just gotten off the bus when the sirens went off. Dakota and Siris, at the bus stop to meet them, shared worried looks, then tried to calm the children around them.
Throughout the entire trip, Ira had been able to keep his temper, stay calm. But as the voice could be heard, the voice saying that there could be an avalanche. . . his heart stopped. An avalanche? They had to be kidding him? It would be the end to a very bad day. He had already been through one avalanche, and he wasn't keen to go through another. It was then that he felt a tiny hand loop around his fingers. Ira's red eyes slid down to see Copper, a young eevee that had often followed him around the orphanage before they had left. The brown-haired sweetheart smiled up at him, seeming to be not at all worried about the warning they had received, hugging the Basil plushie he had closer to his chest. "Its okie-dokie, Ira." Ira blinked a few times and tried to pull his hand away, to no avail. "What are you talking about?" "You looked scared, buts its all okay. We're all good." "I don't know what you're talking about."
Dakota and Siris had decided to split up. Siris led the newcomers to the hospital while Dakota went to get the orphans they had always been in charge of to safety. They would each go back to the bus stop after everyone was safe for ten minutes to wait for the other orphans supposed to arrive that day; if they didn't arrive, they would go back alone.

I didn't have time to grab anything from home."(Yus. Then he shall get a leavanny friend (evolution joke... okay I'll stop)) "Oh... well hopefully nothing will get too damaged," Heather replied, taking another sip. She glanced towards the doorway before looking down at her cup. "Why did it storm all of a sudden, though...? It's summer, yet it's hailing so hard... maybe an ice-type did this?" "Probably several ones, or a legendary," Aspen muttered, causing Heather to look up in surprise. The leavanny's voice had taken on a more serious tone now that he was recovering. His fingers drummed the edge of the chair's armrest as he stared at nothing in particular.

@ Bloodrose: (Sorry it took me a while to actually get around to starting this!) "Coal! Come on, we gotta get going!" Flint calls from the front of the house, a backpack thrown over her shoulder. It was stuffed with things that she and anyone else might need in case things got really bad. There were some spare clothes, some snacks, and a small portable charger crammed into it. The Arcanine waits for her brother to be ready, house keys clutched tightly in her hands. This storm was so odd, completely out of place considering that it was still really warm out. She glances out the window, watching the hail pelt down from the sky and shatter on the earth.Coal ran out of his room with his backpack on his back and he was holding all of his gaming systems. Coal then said," Okay big sis lets go before things get worse." Coal then walked towards the door an said," And before you ask, cause i know you will, yes I need all of this and refuse to leave without it."

@ Meteor Skylar glanced at her, then nodded. If she wanted fast, she'd give it to her. She sped up moving almost twice as fast as she had been before. Her tails streamed out behind her, almost looking like a single tail now. She knew how to run quickly, and she'd trained her body to be in top physical condition. She was definitely quick when she wanted to be. She really hoped that this storm didn't get bad. She really didn't want to rebuild her house again. She'd already had to do it three times. It was starting to become a chore. It wasn't long before her house came into view, and she started to slow down.

Scorch
Riley narrowed her eyes as she pushed herself to keep up with the ninetails. Being a Flaaffy, she wasn't naturally that fast, so she'd had to train hard to be able to reach the speeds she could now in the Ranger Academy. So, while Skylar was definitely going a little faster than Riley was used to, the Flaaffy could just barely keep up with just a tad amount of trouble. She could catch her breath when they got to the house - what mattered right now was that they got to the house in time to put up the wards that Skylar wanted.
( Good night! )
