Aspensong let out a small laugh, "Don't sound so disappointed, Sunshadow," she purred and wandered down a thin forest path. She sniffed the air and started to stalk a mouse scent.

Sunshadow stood and watched her go for a moment before sniffing the air and stalking toward where he smelled a squirrel.

Bearpaw shrugged at her, seeming to still not be upset of anything as he scooted a bit over and out of the way of the entrance to the den. "Then we're both a little at fault, eh?" he meowed, whiskers twitching slightly. His head tilted a bit before looking around the camp. "It was a little silly to be sitting right here in front of the den. But I wanted to see if I could grab a quick wash and find my mentor."
Rabbit, I just wanna tell you that you have Bearpaw's mentor listed as two different cats. On his form, it's Marshshadow and then it also says that Wolfeye's apprentice is Bearpaw. lol))

Aspensong dropped easily into a crouch and started forward. She narrowed her eyes as she glanced around brush. She could hear the mouse scratching close by and she wandered closer and closer. Aspensong pounced on the mouse and gave it a sharp nip.

(Oops, that was my bad! Wolfeye is Bearpaw's mentor, not Marshshadow. Sorry about that, and thank you for letting me know!)
Pondpaw purred and looked at him. "Well, I guess I can forgive you this once," she mewed playfully.
Sunshadow leaped toward the squirrel, but it darted away from him and up a tree. Sunshadow yowled and raced after it, up the tree. He pinned it on a high branch and snapped its neck before he heard a loud crack. With a screech, he plummeted to the ground and landed with a loud thud!

"We keep trying I supposed, there can only be two or three more layers to go." Timberpaw said. "And now we have a spot to focus on tearing."

Got caught up in stuff.)) Bearpaw offered a purr in return, giving her shoulder a soft prod with his paw. "How sweet of you. I am forever in your debt for this act of kindness," he teased in an equally playful tone.

Pondpaw laughed and crouched down, ready to pounce on the other apprentice. She wiggled her hindquarters and leaped, bowling him over.

The stocky young tom let out a soft 'oof' as he was pounced on, dramatically falling onto his side and flailing his paws. "Oh no, this mighty warrior has attacked me! Whatever shall I do?" Bearpaw cried, going limp and rolling his eyes about.

Bearpaw let out a deep, rumbling laugh, gently swiping a paw over her ears and dropping back down, crouching and playfully growling at her. From across the clearing, an angry yowl came from the dozing Batwing, who was hissing at the two noisy apprentices to go play somewhere else, to which the younger tom offered a somewhat sheepish and embarrassed look.

Pondpaw came back down onto all four paws. She rolled her eyes at Bearpaw, chuckling. "Someone's a little grumpy today," she murmured to him.

He chuckled as well, nodding his head after glancing over at the grumbling elder. "He's always grumpy. I think it's more than just something he ate now," Bearpaw added, whiskers twitching a bit.

Timberpaw climbed down from the tree with a robin in his jaws and tried to find his way back to camp. He found the path eventually and followed it back, putting the robin on the fresh-kill pile. He was disappointed that it was his only catch but it was better than nothing.

Streampaw was sorting herbs in the med den. As she was peeling herbs apart and making piles, she saw they were low on marigold. "Hey Frostfeather. I think we are low on marigold...." she said in her usual calm voice. She had only recently become a med app. Which meant she was still getting marigold and golden rod mixed up. "Or is it golden rod... it might be both. Frostfeather can you just come see? Please?"

Frostfeather padded over to where Streampaw was in the herb store and looked at the piles. "You were right, it is marigold that we're running low on. Although we could use with some goldenrod, too." She looked around at the herbs carefully. "We should probably collect some juniper, as well." She looked at her apprentice, deciding to quiz her. "Can you tell me what those are used for?"

Lakepaw trotted over to Puddlestep. "Hi Puddlestep!" She meowed. "How are you doing today?" She looked at the queen happily - she was looking forward to having more kits in the Clan.
(By the way, I would like to mention that I adore the name Puddlestep - it's a really cute name!)

Timberpaw spotted a bit of moss just laying out in the camp and he crouched low, creeping towards it before eventually pouncing on it. He tossed the moss towards the nursery before heading to the apprentice's den.

Pondpaw raced through the forest, relishing the fresh air. She slowed down once she was far enough away from camp. Bearpaw sped after her, enjoying the feeling of stretching his legs as he bounded through the forest. He nearly ran straight into Pondpaw when she finally slowed, skidding nearly to a halt so that he could walk beside her.
