Lilypaw jerked awake with a small gasp and the young cat flailed for a brief moment before she found her way to her paws. She let out a loud yawn and blinked her eyes slowly, as she got used to being awake. It was a lot brighter than it was when she started to snooze outside. She caught sight of TImbperaw in the corner of her and waved her tail at the tom. "Hey Timberpaw," she meowed, letting out another yawn.

Lilypaw yawned and shrugged her shoulders. "I am just tired," she meowed with a faint laugh as she padded over to sit next to Timberpaw.

"Wonder what our mentors will want to do today." Timberpaw said, licking his paw and running it over his ear. "Let's maybe get ourselves something to eat first."

Lilypaw shrugged her shoulders and looked over towards Sunshadow who was speaking with Aspensong. "I am not sure if he is going to do anything today," she mused and nodded her head. She pushed herself to her paws and padded over towards the fresh kill pile.

Timberpaw stood up and followed her to the fresh-kill pile. "We could always practice battle moves or hunting moves here anyway, after we eat of course." He picked a squirrel off of the pile. "Want to share this or is it not enough?"

Lilypaw purred and swished her tail, "Either sounds like fun to me," she meowed and let out a small laugh, "Anything is better than staying in camp." She watched him go through the fresh-kill pile before he picked up a squirrel. She gave a small dip of her head, "I can share that with you, it's big enough," she mused.

"We shouldn't leave camp without a warrior though, I was thinking we practice moves here in camp." Timberpaw set the squirrely down between them and crouched down to start eating.

Lilypaw gave Timberpaw a sidelong glance but shrugged her shoulders, she didn't honestly mind where they chose to go. She laid down on the ground and pulled a piece off of the squirrel to eat.

Timberpaw took his time eating, leaving her one half of the squirrel and eating only from his. His tail swept back and forth along the ground. When he was finished he sat up and licked his muzzle.

Lilypaw slowly chewed on her piece of a squirrel and before neatly placing all the bones in a stack to be taken out.

Timberpaw stretched his legs and yawned widely again. "What would you like to start with?" He asked, padding over to a space in the camp that was out of the way.

Lilypaw pushed herself to her paws and trailed after behind Timberpaw. She titled her head to think for a second before sinking down into a playful fighter crouch as she faced him.

Timberpaw turned around and crouched low as well, mimicking her stance. His tail lashed back and forth playfully as he folded his ears back, looking like he was going to pounce at her.

Lilypaw let out a laugh as Timberpaw mirrored her crouch. She narrowed her eyes before lunging towards her fellow apprentice, instinctively going for his back.

Timberpaw rolled out to the side and kicked his hindlegs out at her as she pounced to where he used to be. He scrambled back onto his paws quickly.

Lilypaw landed neatly on her paws as she rebuffed from Timberpaw's counter move. She flickered her tail and decided to wait for Timbperaw to strike first as she stalked around him.

Timberpaw stalked around her as well. He jumped forward and bluffed right before he turned and jumped to her left, hooking out his forepaw to unbalance her.

His mother, Skywing, a former MoonClan warrior, abandoned him at her Twoleg's house and left him. Lilypaw let out a laugh and took off like a rocket as she saw Timberpaw lunge at her. "No, no, no," she mumbled under her breath as she ran before spinning around to swipe Timberpaw's paws out from under him.
