[oh I haven't made a starting character in years, so I'm just going to go with a revamped favorite of mine! please tell me if there's a problem with this, I'm happy to change it if necessary to fit with the canon~]
Ø - - { Runningstep } -- { Warrior } - - Golden eyes darted nervously around the forest's edge. They had been able to escape notice from the patrols for two days, but luck and cunning can only get you so far, and after that close call with a fox kit a while ago finally steeled their nerves enough to seek out the clan cats. It's time. Runningstep is an Abyssinian with a coat of burnt sienna and ticked with darker brown, yellow eyes, and an above average knowledge of the warrior code for a former loner. They like the strict codes of honor and the mysticism of the rituals and so would give their life to protect them both. This sometimes causes a problem, as this jumpiness more often starts fights rather than ends them. In battle, Runningstep favors fast blows and jumping due to their lithe, almost streamlined body not taking heavy hits well. Overall, they're just eager to please and ready at any moment to help. - - {Roleplayed by runningstep (what a shocker)} - - fixed! where should I go from here once with the okay? |

♀ - - { Fawnlight } -- { Warrior } - - Fawnlight is a very stunning cream she-cat. She has brown torbie spots covering her legs and tail. Her face and right ear also sport the same markings. Her eyes are a sky blue with flecks of silver. Her paws and tail tip are the same cream as the rest of her fur. Her nose is bright pink in color. This she-cat has shorter fur with a long lithe body that she received from her Abyssinian heritage. Fawnlight is a very gentle and delicate she-cat that often lets her caring nature get the best of her. She is very loyal and dutiful to her clan, putting others before herself. The torbie is extroverted and a bit of a fast talker. She isn’t the quietest of the clan, but where she lacks in the ability of stealth is only gained by her quick wit and fast feet. Fawnlight is an excellent runner and could almost easily outrun most of the warriors. Her speed is however short-lived, seeing that she doesn’t have the stamina for it. - - { Roleplayed by calliopemarie } - - [ ✣ ] { Male Form } ♂ - - { Brokensmoke } -- { Warrior } - - Brokensmoke is a close descendant of a Maine Coon with a black smoke and white combination on his coat. He has white paws and a white chest along with a scar on his hind right leg from a fox fight he had when he was an apprentice. He is very large for a cat due to his Maine Coon heritage. He has bright fern green eyes. Brokensmoke considers himself a charmer. He is a very laid back tom with a cunning personality. Though he's a charmer, there's only one she-cat that has captivated his heart from long ago. He thinks of her often, but hopes when the time is right , he can move on. He is often very goofy and loves to make jokes and entertain others. A pretty decent tom really. Brokensmoke is an excellent hunter and warrior. Because of his big body, he is not as agile as many of the other cats. He is hardly afraid of anything and absolutely loves the water. He loves to hunt and help train other apprentices, often trying to teach them how to hunt and swim in the river. yall i did it... making characters from scratch is both fun and infuriating. i got lazy with blair but i hope she's ok :'O
♂ - - { Deerberry } -- { Medicine Cat } - - This medicine cat tom's looks are nothing to sniff at, certainly. His fur is short and well-kept, mainly being a bronze color that looks ginger upon hitting the light. His face, ear tips, and tail tip all consist of a much darker brown. He has long whiskers, and a pale pink nose and paw pads. Deerberry has bright green eyes that stand out very much against the darker fur of his face. His tail is long and plumed. As a medicine cat, there is no doubt that he is quick and efficient at what he does. What there might be doubts about, though, is the sharp tongue that usually accompanies his work. He's sharp, but he doesn't think very quick. That is especially to say, he doesn't think before he talks. Although Deerberry is willing to help anyone, it's not uncommon he'll put up a fuss about it. He quite enjoys the atmosphere of being a medicine cat, though. Herbs and flowers carry some of his favorite scents, and he's enjoyed the aura of this life way more than the concept of getting his paws dirty chasing rabbits or fighting off cats. His sharp tongue isn't to say he dislikes helping cats, though. He'd never admit it out loud, but he is quite fond of all his Clanmates. Surely, he'd give his life to help them. - - { Roleplayed by jer bear ! ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ } - -♀ - - { Blair } -- { Rogue } - - Blair is a dilute calico, mostly white with pale ginger and gray in various splotches against her body. Her fur was once pretty and pampered, but it has grown matted and torn in different places. Her eyes are a very light green color. She had been a kittypet, once, but was abandoned by her Twoleg owners. Ever since that moment, she became untrustful and decided to live out her life without being tied to anything. Oh man has this clan been closed since forever, taking my chance to join >:D ♀ - - { Adderleaf } -- { Warrior } - - Adderleaf is a lithe, ticked tabby she-cat with a warm cinnamon coat and rather long legs. Her eyes are a shade of golden green most comparable to that of a lime or pear and she has a slightly cream-colored muzzle. Adderleaf's origin is most notably that of an Abyssinian cat with her sharp and large almond-shaped eyes. And she suffers from a condition common for the breed with her being completely deaf in her left ear. Adderleaf is almost as eccentric as it gets being the excitable fur-ball she is. She often has her head in the clouds, pondering over matters of "utmost importance" which makes her clumsy and unfocused most of the time. At times she even has complete yet internal conversations with herself on a dime. Defensive and loud-mouthed, Adderleaf is touchy and gushes at the smallest of complements. But, she is adaptable and calculated under the right circumstances. - - { Roleplayed by ᴄᴀʟᴀᴍɪᴛʏ } - -♂ - - { Whirlsplash } -- { Warrior } - - Whirlsplash is a rather tall black classic tabby tom, yet he isn't actually all too sturdy or muscular. He is loyal, valuing his clan highly, although Whirlsplash only holds this true to the very clan and its ideals, not those within it. But with his clan-centric mindset, Whirlsplash is hesitant to do things that may jeopardize his reputation such as risks and rule-breaking. The previous deputy (Cinderspark) just got demoted for “falling in Love” with an outsider who became pregnant. This outsider was killed and Silverstar found out about it so he was demoted. Brown, black, and grey run across this warrior's pelt alongside the scars he's received as a warrior. The black dominates the main portion of his body while grey takes up his legs and tail. Only in sunlight can you see small sections of black are actually dark brown. Sharp amber eyes never seem to miss a thing. Most of his time is spent out of camp. Restless by nature, Vipershade doesn't enjoy beating around the bush. Even if he tends to not have a filter, he isn't the type to go out of his way to say anything mean. When asked for an opinion, he'll typically give it and then become confused if it upsets a more sensitive cat. Although his respect isn't easily earned, he does show a certain amount of caring for all his clanmates. He's a bit more stubborn. He will take advice, but it would take a lot to make him change his mind about a decision once he's made it.

Redsky is a pure white tom with red socks. His left eye is a dark amber color and his right a blue. When he isn't hunting or patrolling for his clan, this tom can be found lounging by the riverbank. Occasionally when it's warm enough, he'll go for a swim. He tends to act like an elder, though, and will often fill kits' heads with adventurous stories of ancestral cats. Of course, he always informs them that they're fictional, although it may be under his breath. He's also rather mischievous and enjoys trying to play matchmaker with his clanmates. Often times the trouble he's gotten into it hasn't been anything serious, but he has succeeded in matching a few before and so he likes to continue to do it because "who else will?"
