A couple of months ago I had a bag of lays, and when I had them they were super salty. I feel like they added more salt on them, or maybe I'm not used to having so much salt anymore? Is it just me?
No I'm not talking about the freaking word salty about someone being pissed off. The internet ruined the word "shippings" so it's really annoying.

Maybe you got the extra salt in your bag that mine didn't?
Seriously, i ended up with an ENTIRE bag of chips (low fat/original kettle cooked) that had absolutely no salt whatsoever? I had four people taste them to make sure i wasnt just going crazy but nope, no salt at all.

I normally get the lightly salted lays chips so I wouldn't know, but yeah, the original lays seem very, very salty

Both for taste and because a cardiologist literally told me to eat more salt even though I already love and eat salt on everything so no problem there, doc.

I also love salt on everything, but I've switched to pouring soy sauce (aka liquid salt) on most things now. My brother however will literally have mini snowcap piles of salt on his food. The first time my husband saw him do this, he asked if he was just showing off for his benefit, and my mom and I had to be like, "No, he always does this".

Dude whenever I get takeout chinese I always ask them to put lots of extra soy sauce in the bags because i will just open them and suck on the packets so I can relate. It has to be a specific kind of soy sauce though because the usual bottles of it at the store taste weird/gross/not as salty as the packets do.

For me it's Kikkoman soy sauce - that's what the Japanese takeout restaurant I worked at in college used, so it's what I have always stuck with.

I prefer pringles over lays, but I do agree that lays taste saltier.
