Also known as college. Same thing, or so I've heard.

Here's hoping you make out ok! College is...definitely an experience. I feel like it's one of those parts of life I'll look back on someday and just wonder what the heck I was even doing at the time? x3
Keep us all updated! If you can survive the first day, the worst is behind you!

If you can survive the first day, the worst is behind you! Sure thing. And since my two classes are going to be long, I'll make sure to drink coffee and maybe eat a candy bar on the way.

So, I finished my classes for the day and bought some Godiva chocolate afterwards. It was better than I expected, though that's probably because we were only doing introductions and going over the syllabus, as well as just discussing things like politics. sweetclover1 Partially, though I'm glad you got the reference (even though the Underworld and Hell are completely different concepts from completely different religions).

(Lol I know sometimes people interchange the two words /looking at you Rick Riordan// You have a Saturday class?) This is why I have mixed feelings on his books. Anyway, yeah, I do. Two, actually, and I have another one tomorrow.

(Same though. Plus he changed some of the stories around to make them kid friendly (like medusa) which in a way I could under stand but honestly he should have left those myths out instead of totally changing them. Youch. What classes are you taking?) Exactly! I feel like the movie is worse in its portrayal of the gods, especially for Hades and Persephone. If I ever write something like the Percy Jackson series (at least in terms of gods in the modern world), I'll be sure to be accurate to at least the Homeric interpretations of the myths. As for my classes, I take American Government and Sociology on Saturdays and Fund of Speech on Sundays.

College really isn't that bad from everything i've been told and seen so far. Don't get me wrong, it's gonna be challenging. But there's less social pressure than high school. Everyone's a lot more mature about stuff and there's no social hierarchy to contest with. And a lot more fun things to do.
You'll be a-okay

So, Speech class was today and it wasn't that bad, either. The professor was funny and it seems to be an easy class in general, since the only way to fail is to just not present at all, and he said that he'd help out with my stammering. He gave the class homework, but it's just to pick a poem and recite it (I already chose The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe).
