Echowisp nodded, "I'll be right back," she meowed. Whisking away quietly and quickly she dissapeared into the herb storage, coming back with the necessary herbs. [ive always been bad with the herb names so I'm just gonna say that lol ] she chewed them up quickly before spitting them onto her own paw. "This shouldn't sting," she spoke quietly to the she-cat before rubbing it on the injury.

Great, now he'd made her feel bad. "No, of course not!" He looked up at her with a smile, tail flicking. His tone was the teeniest bit frantic, as he was now trying to comfort her and make up for making her uncomfortable. "It wasn't you, honestly. I'm just -" he stopped himself there, really not wanting to ruin things by mentioning his stupid crush. Obviously she didn't feel that way, right? "Sorry for making this so awkward." He huffed, gaze turning to the trees. Peach huffed lowly, sending him another teasing glance. "You're terrible at making things not awkward," she smiled. Shuffling her paws, "well... I should probably go and you know.. Prepare for my departure." She spoke quietly, almost expecting him to tell her no, and not to leave.

Cinderspark & Mayra // Mayra's Den // Late MorningCinderspark wasn't expecting her to be concerned about him being caught seeing her, she seemed like the type of cat who would be thrilled to break the rules every so often. Just like Sweetstory, he remarked to himself with a sigh. "I'm not worried. My clanmates trust me, they know I wouldn't do anything without good reason." He remarked, reaching forward to give her light brown cheek an affectionate lick. His own words should have fired off an alarm in his mind that seeing Mayra was not in good reason, but he was so caught up in her beautiful eyes, that the though didn't cross his mind.Quietpaw & Hawkpaw // Valley // Late MorningQuietpaw laughed at Hawkpaw's words, nodding his head to agree that, yes, he was indeed bad at this sort of thing. Opening his jaws to give a teasing reply, he closed them suddenly as he realized she had continued talking. He padded over the crunchy leaves underpaw as his mind rapidly tried to decide how to answer her question. "Stress and anxiety really, being an apprentice is stressful, at least for me." He replied, hastily adding the last part and then realizing that he almost told her his secret. His nerves sky-rocketing, he tore his gaze away from her and focused intensely on his moving paws. Fawnleap & Nightwind // Camp // Late MorningFawnleap giggled at his question, feeling her cheeks flush under his deep, warm gaze. "Because you look so adorable when you get tickled, even a little bit." She purred, resting her front paws and head on his belly, a glint of mischievous energy flashing in her emerald colored eyes. Taking a deep breath in, she savored the peaceful moment they were sharing despite the darkness that seemed to be consuming their clan. Among all of it, they had found happiness, and each other. Lifting her right front paw delicately into the air, she brought it down swiftly onto his stomach and began moving to back and forth, attempting to tickle the darkly colored tom. Mayra nodded slowly, smiling at the feeling of his touch, which sent a spark shooting across her back. "Okay, good.." [ I literally already forgot what our plan was, is she telling him about the kits the next time they meet? ]

Sorrelfrost kept still so that the she-cat's work would be much easier. She shut her eyes again, the tiredness from before still lingering within her. I need a long rest.

[ @fireh I love them too ;----; ]
Augustpetal purred, the rumbling in her chest light and happy. "Yes, I mean it, of course I mean it," she sighed lowly. Pressing herself to him she could still feel the flame that he had lit inside of her so many moons ago, making her feel as though no one else mattered, which couldn't be more true to Augustpetal than anything else. "I love you, I love you.." She spoke the words so serenely, so intensely, and there was so much truth to them. The pretty calico didn't know what she would do without her handsome silver tom, the thought made her heart stop.

Sunfrost stayed next to Sorrelfrost and flicked his ear. The tom felt slightly better now that she was getting treatment from Echowisp, but he still felt guilty for inflicting the pain, even though he inadvertently caused it. "Are you okay?" The tom asked Sorrelfrost, his greenish-yellow eyes still clouded with worry. "Can I get you anything? Like something to eat?"

Once Echowisp had finished placing the herb over the wound she took cobweb and draped it over the herbs to keep everything in place. She inwardly critiqued her handiwork, feeling it could have been much neater, though in reality it was near perfect. "There you are, it should be fine as long as you don't overwork yourself. I don't want you out gallivanting around and only make it worse. Come back in a couple of days so I can check it, okay?" She meowed in her usual quiet voice. As small as her voice was, her blue eyes blazed into Sorrelfrost's with an intensity. There was to much going on with the sickness for the medicine cats to be worrying about silly wounds.

Trying to keep still, Sorrelfrost replied slowly. "Y-you don't have to, but a bird of any kind would be nice. I'd prefer it to be small, though." Seeing that Echowisp had finished, she nodded. "Yes, Echowisp. I will be sure not to forget."

Sunfrost looked from Sorrelfrost, to Echowisp, and then back to Sorrelfrost as the two she-cats spoke. The tom nodded at Sorrelfrost's words and left Echowisp's den. He made his way over to the fresh-kill pile, trying his best to hurry so the ginger she-cat didn't have to wait. Sunfrost didn't want her day to get any worse. He sniffed out the fresh-kill pile and finally found a small bird, before bounding back over to Sorrelfrost. "Here you go." He mewed, placing the bird at her paws before turning to Echowisp. "Thank you, Echowisp." The tom said quietly, body crouched a bit. He knew he wasn't Sorrelfrost's mate, but he still felt the need to watch over her after this.

(I've already thought of kit names for SorrelSun why do I do this to myself?)
Sorrelfrost smiled graciously, and dipped her head into the prey. She took a big bite, relishing the juiciness of the small mammal. "Even after this experience," she meowed, looking to Sunfrost. "I still had a really good time today. We should do this more often."

Echowisp had started back towards the herb storage when she heard her name once again, oh no, I hope there isn't another sick cat... she thought to herself with slight panic as she turned to jaguarear. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" She asked quietly.

[ SO HAVE I ROSE OMG YOU'RE NOT ALONE i already have his personality and looks planned out too haha i'm not weird]
---
Sunfrost smiled at Sorrelfrost in return. He stayed crouched next to her. The tom didn't want to be a bother, but he wanted to make sure that she really was alright. When the ginger she-cat spoke up, he perked his ears and gave out a small purr. "So you don't blame me?" He asked, eyes bright. Normally the tom was more confident and sure of himself, but this time not so much. He needed to make sure that Sorrelfrost didn't blame him like he blamed himself.

"Blame you? Why would I ever even think of doing such a thing? You only wanted to have some fun by climbing up a tree, and I agreed to it. If anything, it's my fault I fell. I should of realized that I couldn't make it all the way up there from the beginning," Sorrelfrost mewed.
(I'm so tempted to have the kit's name begin with an 'S'.)

[ ooh you should keep the tradition alive x3 ]
---
Sunfrost flicked and ear. He was glad the she-cat didn't blame him for what happened. It was a mistake. It could have happened to anyone. The fact that she thought it was her own fault hurt the tom slightly. Sunfrost shook his head. "It isn't your fault. There was no way either of us could have known the branch was loose. It could have happened to anyone. You're a good climber." He wanted Sorrelfrost to know how good she was. Maybe in her mind she wasn't good at hunting and fighting, but Sunfrost knew for a fact that she was good at climbing trees, and that was something.

Greenpool couldn't help chuckling at her words, though her next statement made his heart drop. Was she leaving so soon? "Well um, you could -" He stopped, knowing that saying anything at this point was going to make things worse. "I didn't realize you were leaving so soon. Do... do you want some help or anything?" Although his mind screamed to stop her and say that he didn't want her to leave, he couldn't bring himself to do it. It was so selfish of him, wanting the she-cat to stick around when it would only mean a horrible winter for her. "I'm gonna miss you," was all he could get out before clearing his throat, fur burning.

"Thanks. I've never really been complemented on anything," Sorrelfrost mewed. There were those times that my mentor would congratulate me on a scrawny bird, but that was probably out of pity. A small glimmer of happiness showed in her eyes, for this was when she formally realized something- Sunfrost and her were going to become friends. Close friends, she hoped.

Sunfrost blinked at Sorrelfrost and nodded his head with a small smile. Never been complimented? Sunfrost found that hard to imagine. Sorrelfrost was great. Who wouldn't compliment her on things? "Well. There's a lot I could compliment you on, but I don't think you'd want to hear it all." The tom teased, nudging her playful and friendly manner.

Sorrelfrost purred. "Unfortunately, I can't have any races because... You know." The she-cat glanced down at her paw which was holding almost none of her weight. She had focused everything onto her other three paws, being careful not to defy what Echowisp had told her.

Sunfrost purred in response. "Soon enough you can. You'll be back to normal in no time." He mewed, then looked at her paw. "Do you want to go to the warriors' area or something? That way you don't have to stay in here and get sick." Sunfrost flicked an ear. He'd be happy to help Sorrelfrost to another part of camp. He didn't want the she-cat to hurt her paw even more.

(That's what I've been giving you all this time, right? And can I reply to you in a few minutes? For now, let me just say that I already have a plan on the birthing of the SorrelSun kits. Why? I don't know. Actually, I do know. I plan way too ahead. But would you like to hear my mini plan? Even though it's moons away?)
