( 🎃❅❖.Şp໐໐kฯຟiຖ໓.❖❅🎃 Sounds great!) ~Timberlegs~ Timberlegs trudged across the sodden earth, his face in a deep frown. Mud caked on his paws and his thick fur lay plastered and soaked on his body from the rain pouring down. Why'd he ever think it was a good idea to go out for a hunt? He saw the rain clouds in the distance but didn't expect the rain to be this bad! He could have been curled up in his nest right now, warm and sheltered from the weather, but no he had thought it a good time to go out for a solo hunt and no he was caught in the downpour of rain of a storm that looked it wasn't stopping any time soon. He paused and opened his mouth to taste the air, nothing, nothing but mud and wet earth. Of course. He thought sourly. With this weather all prey will have taken to shelter, smart. He looked around at his surroundings, looking for any kind of undergrowth or cover, the least he could do was find some sort of place to hunker down for a bit. |

*Spottedpelt* Icerose found herself sheltering under the undergrowth within the forest. She shivered softly as she felt small drops of cold rain water fall to her pelt. Her white paws were stained a darker creamy-brown, leaving the warrior to sigh uncaringly loudly to herself. Not like anyone would hear me now anyway, She noted bitterly as her icy blue gaze met the gray clouds above as they thundered on with rainfall. Icerose thought that it would have been better to try hunting instead of being all cooped up inside that tiny cave she called home, but now she was not so sure. "No prey would be out in weather like this," She whispered to herself begrudgingly. Still, she wouldn't return to camp just yet. She was determined to come home with something.

He looked up at the darkened clouds through the canopy of trees, his amber eyes narrowing as rain pelted his face. This storm was relentless, hopefully it won't be long before it stops. The tall warrior thought. As his mind wandered to the sky, Timberlegs paw gave out from underneath him as he slid on the wet earth, collapsing into the mud. "Great." he muttered, just what he needed. The dark warrior rose to his paws and shook out his sodden fur, at least there was nobody there to see that, he thought grumpily to himself. His eyes wandered to a patch of undergrowth ahead and he began to trot toward it. Finally, a place to get out of this onslaught of rain! He thought bitterly. Though as he began to make his way into the undergrowth, Timberlegs jumped back in alarm as he nearly collided with another creature, no a cat, a clanmate? "Icerose?" He said in bewilderment, he was not expecting anyone else to be out in this awful weather. "What in StarClan's name are you doing here?"

*Spottedpelt* Icerose stared out into the forest uncharacteristically patient, though her vision blurred by the torrential downpour. She hoped in vain that the storm would lessen even the slightest bit so she could continue on her mission to bring the clan some prey. It was before she could even try to catch anything when she was halted by Timberlegs's sudden appearance. Her blue eyes were wide for a moment as she realized the intruder within her undergrowth shelter was none other than a clanmate. Just the slightest bit of worry pricked her heart as she saw just how badly the storm battered the larger tom. At his question she shifted her blue eyes away and regained her distant gaze. "I was just trying to do some hunting. Better than being inside camp." She replied cooly, her voice slightly elevated so the older tom would hear. "And what are you doing out here Timberlegs? You don't look nearly as prepared to be out in this weather as you should," The warrior soon criticized. Noting the mud caked in his fur. For someone who was her mentors littermate, she felt he didn't resemble Cedarstripes at all!

🎃❅❖.Şp໐໐kฯຟiຖ໓.❖❅🎃~Timberlegs~ Timberlegs wide amber eyes returned to narrowed slits and he gave a little grunt at Icerose's remark. "Speak for yourself." He replied gruffly as he towered over her, gesturing around the undergrowth she crouched in, sheltering from the rain and weather. The dark tom shook out his fur, spraying clumps of mud and drops of water everywhere, not caring where it went. Though he stood where he was, he was grateful to at least be out of the cold rain. And the dreadful mud. He thought inspecting the mud caked between his claws. "Thought I'd go out for a hunt too, didn't think the weather would get this bad." he replied simply to Icerose's question after a moment. "Haven't found a single sign of prey at all with this StarClan forsaken weather." Timberlegs let out a low growl of frustration as he glanced back at the downpour of rain.

"I don't think this storm's going to get any better." he said, shaking out his whiskers and turning his soft gaze toward his mate, Lavendersong, at his side. He had hoped for a nice and quiet stroll with Lavendersong, it seemed that between clan duties and their growing kits, they rarely got a chance to have a moment alone. Don't get him wrong, he enjoyed spending time with his kits, he was proud of all of them and couldn't believe that they were already apprentices. How they grew so fast! He thought with a little smile even as the rain fell down upon the two of them, how lucky he was to have a wonderful mate and kits! "What do you think?" Sharpfang said, pressing himself against Lavendersong. "Would you like to keep going or think we should head back?" |

Lavendersong had been looking up at the sky as well, her face and whole body drenched. After a moment she brought her face down, so now she was gazing at her dashing mate, who looked like a wet mouse. "It doesn't seem so." She agreed, also shaking out her whiskers. What was supposed to be a peaceful walk turned into a wet one, it had seemed that after having kits they could never get a quite moment to themselves. She returned her mates soft gaze as well as returning his smile, when she felt his wet pelt against her wet pet; she couldn't help but think that it was perfect. "I think we should find a cave and rest there for a bit." Her sweet smile then turned into a mischievous one, "Our alone time doesn't have to be over just because of a little rain." She teased, gently bumping into him; in a playful manner.

*Spottedpelt* Icerose exhaled a firm 'hmph' when the tom retorted just as harshly. Obviously, the tiny warrior noticed their size difference the moment she knew who ended up in this bush with her. She brought her icy blue gaze upwards to glare at the larger tom, not backing down until he was the one to break away. The munchkin warrior felt oddly surprised to hear that the other warrior was out in this StarClan forsaken weather for the same reasons as her. She took this moment to breathe a triumphant chuckle. "Ha, Well that's alright Timberlegs, you can run on home to camp now! Rain as light as this wouldn't stop me from going out and trying anyway. Maybe if I can catch something I can say you caught it, that is, only if you asked nicely.. " She mused with an ugly but smug grin. The warrior did not wait for the tom's response either before she stepped back into the downpour. Timberlegs gave her just what she needed to continue again. Someone to be better than, and she was going to show him that no storm could stop her! Rain or shine the short-legged she-cat was a determined soul. The harsh wind beat against her face and had her fur fly everywhere, yet she didn't back down as she took several more steps forward. Finding herself growing closer to the Low Falls. I didn't realize I was this close, She thought with interest as she shivered once more. When she tried to make out the aforementioned destination it was then that she noticed water poking up at her paws. Icerose gazed down to her paws curious but hesitant. Though she didn't register it just yet, the Low Falls ahead were filled to the brim and overflowing with water.
