ѕρσσкуѕку ^.^ I have time!! ] Hiro withdrew his gaze from the waterfall at the sudden yet familiar voice. His red eyes brightened once he found her standing fox lengths away. "There you are!" He purred. Hurriedly the tom padded over to Olivepool as he was eager to finally see her face once more. So close, and so real. "You haven't kept me waiting long," He whispered reassuringly while nuzzling her cheek. His muzzle lifted gently away. "Has everything been alright?" Naturally the tom would pose the question. The loner always concerned himself with her clan life.

{ Okay, I did some research and have a few ideas. First of all, the most common natural disasters in spring are floods and tornadoes. Being in a mountainous area, tornadoes aren’t so likely. But floods absolutely are. Rising temperatures in the oceans causes more snow to form and fall which in turn ends up melting into a crap ton of water. Combine that with heavy rainfall and we’ve got ourselves one heck of a flood. We could also go with landslides from excess water. Rockslides and earthquakes are also common natural disasters in the mountains.

{ Since it’s spring the snowmelt might not fit but the rain absolutely still could. The lower areas could flood and all the prey could die. That would be super problematic lol. }

Well what kind of stories do we want?
Right now my brain is mush so I'm not much for an idea front. But a question is also, when will the flood be gone? And when should we have the prey come back? I dont want it to be too long of a period tbh, but I like the tensions that'll rise from it. ]

I think if we try to complicate it by adding in a story factor we may not get anywhere as fast. My idea behind this is to get the rp going, so I feel that adding story elements to solve the issue will leave us stuck. Mostly because daily rp from any of us is.... not always happening.
Keeping it a simple flood that destroys the forest (their most plentiful hunting grounds) is actually already intense on it's own. I dont even know what Hiro is gonna do yet haha ]

From what I understand it's supposed to be from rainfall alone. So probably heavy rain in the beginning that only gets worse as time goes on? On and off or something?
It should flood the territory for a good amount of time.. 🤔

He was about to ask if the tom was okay when he caught the look in Flinttail’s eyes as they scanned the terrain. Instantly, when he saw the eagle, his pelt fluffed and he felt adrenaline pump through his veins. It had been seasons since his last eagle encounter. He didn’t know if he was ready. |
