{ Oh that’s fun <-•Ryse•->! I went on a rafting trip with my class in 6th grade. The weather was horribly wet and there was a lot of drama and all we had for like half the meals was tortillas and strawberry jam but it ended up being a lot of fun lol. I bet that yours will be even more fun without all that crazy stuff. } |

Foxflight washed himself vigorously, his long fur having tangled a bit from his fitful sleep. He tried to bury himself in the task, intent to not let his thoughts wander. Like they always did these days. And to one thing—or cat—in particular. Flinttail always seemed to be on his mind. He had always wanted to feel this way about a she-cat, someone he could grow old with and raise a family alongside. But this? This wasn’t what he wanted. Flinttail, for one, was a tom. And that was...not what he wanted. It couldn’t be. He vigorously lapped at his fur as his discomfort built.
{ To clarify, Fox isn’t homophobic but he doesn’t want a gay relationship for himself. It conflicts with his self-image and hopes for his life. }

(Here's that reply ѕρσσкуѕку! Oh the poor baby struggling with his feelings, Foxflight is so adorable haha!) ~Flinttail~Flinttail made his way towards the camp entrance. Earlier he had noticed that the fresk-kill pile was getting low and thought it might be good to go out for a hunt. He hadn't been chosen to go on any official hunting patrols that morning but it couldn't hurt if he went out for a quick solo hunt, plus it would be nice to get some fresh air and stretch his legs, he thought. As Flinttail padded through camp movement caught his eye and he turned to see Foxflight giving himself a wash. FLinttail paused, Foxflight had become one of his closest friends. The tom was always willing to talk or sit with him and seemed to enjoy his company when not many others did, and it felt nice, he thought. Having spent most of his life in rough conditions and feeling alone, it felt nice to be in good company. Flinttail turned his attention back toward Foxflight, maybe he'd like to go out for a hunt too, he thought. The small tom began heading towards Foxflight, then hesitated, the other tom seemed busy and he surely didn't want to disturb him right? Flinttail shook his head, it could't hurt to ask, plus how was he ever going to get any better at talking with others if he couldn't even ask a simple question? Flinttail continued his way toward Foxflight and stopped in front of him, clearing his throat. "Uh, hey" he said, trying not to seem as awkward as possible. "I'm on my way out to go for a hunt, would you like to join?" |

{ Y’all these two are so cute. Sweet awkward boys lol. *Spottedpelt* } Foxflight heard pawsteps approaching and gave his chest one final lick before looking up to meet Flinttail’s eyes. Mouse dung. There were those weird feelings again. He may have been getting increasingly uncomfortable around the other tom but he still greatly enjoyed his company. This was an opportunity he would gladly take. “ Of course,” he replied with a small smile, finding it strangely endearing that the dark-furred tom was still awkward around him even after they’d been friends. Or at least that’s what he hoped they were. So why did the idea make his heart feel heavy? He shook off the idea as he got to his feet, ready to follow Flinttail wherever he wanted to go. |

He gave her a smile as he moved to seat himself by her nest, though he couldn't help the twitch of an ear once she answered his question. Sleepless nights? Since when? And why hadn't I noticed it? "Oh! I'm fine. It's a fine morning isnt it?" The warrior answered at first, holding his gaze on the white-furred she-cat for a moment. Subconsciously he checked over the other warrior. As with everyone, he was always the dedicated spirit in making sure others were okay. "When did you wake up?" He finally asked, genuine concern carried in his voice though kept his tone calm. Last he had a sleepless night was probably when he became a warrior. Duskriver was never the cat to pass up on a nap if it was possible. [/b] [/font] |

(Here ya go ѕρσσкуѕку!) ~Flinttail~ Flinttail felt his fur grow hot, Foxflight had said yes to going hunting but there was something different about him, though, he wasn't quite sure what. Had he said something weird? Did he phrase the question right? Don't be mousebrained, he thought to himself, Foxflight had sounded genuinely interested in going, he shouldn't feel worried or awkward about it. Flinttail beckoned with his tail to the other tom to follow and began to make his way to the entrance. He paused to take in a deep breath of fresh air and feel the slight breeze on his face once the two were outside of the camp, he relaxed, then turned to Foxflight. "I was thinking maybe we could try the forest, it's a good day and there's bound to be prey there." He said, then quickly added, not wanting to feel like he was in control of their little hunting party. "Unless of course you'd like to hunt somewhere else. What do you think?" |

{ Gettin this done and then sleep time for me! It’s like 3:30 and I’m tired af from my trip lol so hopefully this is all coherent. *Spottedpelt* } Foxflight hoped that Flinttail hadn’t noticed his nerves, or had at least attributed them to something else if he did. He didn’t know what he would say if he was asked...to be honest he wasn’t even sure what he felt. So what could he say? He was distracted from the internal debate when they exited camp, noticing how Flinttail relaxed at the open air. He imagined the camp felt crowded for a tom like him, and hoped that it wouldn’t get too crowded and make him even more uncomfortable than before. He didn’t ever want to lose his companion. He nodded at Flinttail’s comment, up for whichever direction the other warrior wanted to go. “ I think that’s a great idea. I don’t mind where we go, and like you said, there’s bound to be plenty of prey,” he meowed in response. |

I just wanted to get it out there that I'm considering a hiatus from this website for a while. Or at least rping. It's not that I dont like it anymore, but I'm thinking that it would be good to isolate myself for some time.
I however dont really want to leave because I fear that this place will die if I do. I'm not sure what to do. ]

(Here ya go ѕρσσкуѕку!) ~Flinttail~ Flinttail dipped his head to Foxflight's response, comforted to hear that he agreed the forest might be a good place to hunt. The small tom rarely ever made the decisions while with others on a hunt or patrol, unless he was tasked with leading the patrol, usually he was just quiet. "The forest it is then." He said, turning in the direction of where their destination was. Though it was a bit of a walk, his pace was slow. The wind felt cool on his fur and he enjoyed the sights and sounds of the territory, of how calm and quiet it was, plus they were in no rush. He glanced at Foxflight for a moment, though he had originally thought about going out alone, he was enjoying the tom's company and was glad he came with him. |

But if you think it would be good to give yourself a break for a bit then do what you think is best for you. I know it's been a bit stressful here for you in the past couple weeks and its understandable that you may want to take a bit of a breather and rest, but also know that we're always here for ya if you need. I hope that you're doing alright and feeling ok, and again I'd hate to see you go for awhile but also do what you need to do for yourself, everyone needs breaks at some point. And if ever need to talk, don't hesitate to message me!  ) |

(Hi friends, I’ve been very busy and occupied with life things. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called graves‘ disease a few days ago and have been adjusting to the medications and the diet changes, so I haven’t had the energy to be here. I apologize but I gotta put my self-care first of course :3 In response to 🎃❅❖.Şp໐໐kฯຟiຖ໓.❖❅🎃, I think that whatever you feel is best for you is what you should do, and I’m not too worried about the clan dying. I know that I will always check back in, even if it’s days apart sometimes, I will always return  The rest of us can continue to rp our relationships that got built over the skip and can hold off on large scale plots until you return self-care is the most important thing so if you feel a hiatus would be beneficial to you, then I encourage you to take one. Of course I will miss you, but I would rather you do what you need to do to feel at your best <3 |
