But try as he wanted to he was frozen still in place. The rushing image of each and every part of his past surged through and took it's terrible toll on the tom. All of it crisp and clear now. His ears twitched slight at her question, acknowledging that he heard her. "I-I'm- I was not a follower of hers, not a willing one anyway," He managed to get out, green eyes clouded with guilt. Even after all of this, Silverdapple still didn't want him to leave her? His heart sank hearing her say those words alone. He watched all of what happened to her and her siblings yet she still wanted to keep him near. The tom really didn't deserve such treatment. But those eyes of hers, wide and pleading. It was hard to resist wanting to tell her everything and keep her near. Protect her in the way he wasn't able to in the past.
With his position in all of this, she really did deserve the truth.
With a shaky breath, he tried to calm himself down well enough to speak. Though he couldn't meet her gaze. "That group of rogues you talked of before.. I-I was one of them. Whatever nasty thing you could think of that happened to you when you were younger.. I, I was there for.." His voice grew hoarse. "I was there for all of it. I watched your siblings die and I didn't do a single thing about it!" He finished quickly. Truly he wanted to add on how he wanted to stop it all. But what would that matter to the warrior now? Her siblings were already dead. No apologies could bring them back. There was no excuse for what he was unable to do back then. Even if he managed to get the she-cat safe and back to camp back then, what did that matter now? He was there for it and therefore at blame. That's the way he'd seen it. Even if he never did lay a paw on any of them.

After the accident with Cinderspark, truth be told she was unsure of what to do. The thought of the tom laying injured in the medicine cat den tugged at her heart in a way that she didn't know. At the moment truthfully, it felt like she was more worried about him than the steps to replace him at the moment. And knowing that, it upset her deeply. A new deputy. Though she shuffled through the faces in her head of her clanmates.. it was hard for her to think of any that she trusted enough to take care of the clan in case anything happened to her. StarClan would be angry with her for waiting.. but she couldn't just choose someone for the sake of choosing someone! The leader pawed at the moss in her nest fitfully before she heard murmurs from the medicine cat den. A sense of urgency hit her the moment she scented blood along with the voices. Quickly the she-cat lifted herself from her nest and made her way out down the tunnel and into the medicine cat den. Though she remained calm on the outside, fear struck her once she'd seen how bloody and battered both Crowfang and Fallingsnow were. "What happened?" She mewed as she approached them with quick pawsteps. Concern clear in her lavender eyes. Their clan was already weak without a deputy, why did StarClan allow her warriors to be hurt too?

♡ Bun ♡ here's the starter. I took a break with friends to make this up :3 ] Echomist yawned daintily from her nest in the nursery while blinking away sleep from her eyes. Once awake she looked out of the den entrance curiously. It seemed that the entire clan was awake already. Silently she gazed down to the kits that share her nest. A melancholic flicker in her teal hued eyes. Some time had passed since they arrived to the clan. And though she did try to help them fit in and grow comfortable with clan life, the she-cat knew it was hard on them. She released a soft sigh before she nuzzled their heads gently. Taking moments after to carefully rise from her nest and leave them to their sleep. Rest while you can. She thought wistfully before she decidedly turned away from them and exited the den. Sundance should be having her kits soon. The reminder clear once she caught sight of the other queens brightly coloured pelt. Hopefully they would be able to play with Augustpetal's kits even sooner. The queen had no doubt in her mind that even with her care.. they were lonely. Even though they had one another she knew they longed for the companionship of others. Everyone did at one point or another.

{ Sorry guys, so I guess my internet provider decided to charge us a $500 bill out of nowhere and we can barely afford food rn so my internet’s been down all day. I’ve been using my phone as a hotspot so I could watch some criminal minds but that made my phone unusable as I didn’t want to disturb the whole setup thing.
It’s now 3:30am-ish and I’m so tired I want to just curl up and cry (long story, my kitten broke a vase and there was dirt and pebbles and shards everywhere and I had a panic attack but it’s all cool now lmao) so I’m gonna go to sleep. Night! }

I broke things off with pretty much a mentally abusive friend and I'm feeling a little lost right now. Like a sense of loss. But the way she talked to me when I tried to address the way she treated me just reaffirmed that I'm better off without her. I didn't really realize that it was mental abuse until just now actually.

However, I’m here today with my muse back in check! ^.^ } Silverdapple listened to his words intently, letting them soak over her as she took them in. So, he was there when her siblings were killed off, but why did he feel so miserable about it? She couldn’t quite figure it out, because if he was the only one that was willing to even think about fighting for them, why would he think she’d be upset. The pain that was coming from his voice made her wince slightly, she moved closer to him as he had done to her before. “Silas... I’m not angry with you, it was so long ago. Not to mention the fact that you’re only one cat, you couldn’t have been expected to fight for us when everything you’d known would turn against you.” She tried to comfort him, hoping what she was saying made sense. She wanted him to understand that she truly wasn’t upset with him about anything. Of course, she couldn’t shake the thought that she had been around Silas before, but that didn’t make anything clearer on why she trusted him so much. There was something else, there had to be... she dug through her thoughts of the battle, shutting her eyes tightly as she thought of it once again. She was still pressed against Silas when she realized, “you... it was you, wasn’t it? Silas...” she breathed his name as she looked up at him with wide eyes. “You took me away from there, didn’t you?” She meowed in such a hushed tone it was like she had whispered it. |

ღ ιcєƒιяє ღ thank you. Little vent; It's took me awhile to realize that I can't be around her anymore. She wanted me to be one of her outlets and just kept repeating the same things over and over again and just would not stop talking about her problems and what stressed her out and I couldn't take it anymore. When I tried to tell her that this isn't healthy and it wasn't healthy for me, she just got all mad and wouldn't try to see why I was even saying such a thing. She couldn't respect that I'd rather care about my mental health over hers. There were times where I would feel so awful because I felt awful for what was happening to her and it would ruin my day and, it's just because I'm such a empathetic and sensitive person that this would happen to me. But one day my best friend told me that she didn't like seeing me like this and ask that I stop thinking of her. And the moment that I did I felt better. After I realize that it was super hard for me to try and listen to what she had to say. Whenever I hear the same thing over and over again and whenever it's in negative context I break down. I can't listen the same thing over and over again without it wearing on me. When I confronted her about it she just brushed it off and acted like I was the bad person and she wanted me to feel bad, and she was just so condescending about it. She made me feel bad for putting myself first. But she can't realize her own problems in the same moment. I only ever really said what I said because another friend of hers told me that she feels the exact same way I felt. She can't listen to the negativity anymore. I know that my ex friend is obviously going through something right now and I should be there for her but I've been there for her for too long and it just wore down my mind too much I can't be there anymore. I'm not going to feel bad for no wanting to be upset anymore. I don't deserve that.
I think it's great when you can talk with your friends about what's bothering you with each other but with her I clearly can't do that. I can't come to a conclusion with her because she doesn't want to. I was really willing to yesterday but I woke up this morning and felt really upset over it. I felt like I didn't deserve to be treated this way and talked to in a way that wasn't constructive. I deserve better. One a side note. I really love the way Silas and Silver are connecting. It's just enjoyable to read honestly and it's like... One of the best rps I've ever had done.]

{ honestly I completely understand. I’ve had friends like that before and it is so hard. It’s not fair to you to take on someone else’s demons and be expected to continue to do it over, and over again. It’s just not fair to you, especially if it’s mentally draining you. You just can’t put yourself through that. >.<
I’m very proud of you, you’re so strong.

I really appreciate hearing that ღ ιcєƒιяє ღ I don't want to be the way that she is and only feel good about myself when people validate me but I really do appreciate hearing that from you. The only thing that's truly awful that came from this is that I work at the same place she works and she was talking to people and management about it and she's talking to co-workers about what happened and it's just not going to be good for me whenever I get back to work. I hate that she's getting work involved in this. I hate that she's involving a lot of other people in this. I've only ever vented to people about this that aren't involved at all. And it sucks that even though I respected her enough not to try and bring it up with anyone she knows, she doesn't give me that same respect back. I know I'm venting again sorry. This isn't really the place for it but I also feel comfortable bringing it up here. Side note of all side notes; 100% agree.. I love it alot. I'll hopefully be able to rp soon. It's not very great. I'm just trying to let it not affect me. I made my peace with the fact that I'm okay without her in my life. There were times where she made me want to be the better person and take care of myself better but I can find that on my own. I don't need to suffer mentally in exchange. I just really hope I'm not getting ugly or dirty looks when it comes to going back to work. I hope that it doesn't affect me getting shifts. A lot of people like her just because she projects this fake image that she's always a happy person. She told me that herself. And it's not like she's an all bad person honestly, but it sucks that they don't know how hard it is to be around her.
Also lol hard night? Fun times though right?]
