(What season are we in again rn? Newleaf??)
Leopardfrost emerged from the medicine cat’s den, having just had a fresh plup of herbs put on her injured ear. The wound was healing well, which was no surprise to the begal warrior, since her body was capable of only remarkable things. The fox (it was a fox right?) has been feisty, but it had been no match for her and a certain scarlet colored she-cat. The hint of a smile began to creep onto her face at the thought of her new acquaintance, which was certainly a rare occurrence. Other cats hardly excited anything inside of Leopardfrost, but there was something about Scarletfeather... she wasn’t a mousebrain like the rest of them. As her thoughts drifted, so did her eyes, and it wasn’t long before they discovered the beautiful red warrior laying just outside of camp, her pelt sparkling with water droplets. She almost looked like a Starclan warrior, with droplets of sunlight woven throughout her fur.
“Your fur is getting wet since you’re sitting so close to the waterfall, but it looks rather... nice actually.” Leopardfrost meowed as she approached the she-cat, the rather awkward words spilling out before she had time to craft a greeting. It was the most oddly robotic compliment she had ever given, that was for sure.
(Sorry that was long I haven’t rped in a while xD)

Softpaw padded out of the medicine cat’s den, her eyes slightly red and her fur ungroomed. She’d spent the night by her father’s side, the leg injury that had cost him his deputyship wasn’t looking great, and fear of yet again losing a parent had overtaken her mind. The only way it could be fatal is if an infection happened, which was unlikely, but it still scared her. She couldn’t go through that again. Glancing up from staring at her paws, the cream and orange she-cat spotted Ripplewave walking towards the fresh-kill pile. She’d never really spoken to the Tom before, but she had noticed his general grumpy and stand-offish nature, and always wondered what caused it. Usually cats with that sort of attitude had something deeper going on. Maybe some conversation would put her in a more optimistic mood. Putting on a small smile, the small she-cat padded towards him, waving her tail in greeting. “Great catches! How’s the weather out there today?”

Scarletfeather pricked her ears at the sound of approaching pawsteps, her heart skipping a beat at the sound of Leopardfrost’s voice. She turned her head to the She-cat and smiled slightly, stretching out on the rock before standing. “Well.. thank you,” She meowed softly. Her bright blue gaze made its way to Leopardfrost’s bandaged wounds and back to her companions eyes. “How are your wounds?” She asked her softly. — Ripplewave dropped his prey on the pile, his tail curling over his back. Out of instinct, he looked around for his brother but did not see him. He couldn’t tell if he was relieved or disheartened, normally he would talk to Heronclaw about his hunt and how nice it was outside, but since he wasn’t there he’d have to just think about it to himself. When Softpaw made an appearance next to him, his teal gaze swiveled to the She-cat, tilting his head slightly at her. He looked uncomfortable, flicking his ears at her and moving his gaze to the entrance of camp. Had she not been out yet? Hmm. “Thanks..” He meowed softly, curling his tail tightly around his paws and ignoring her question. { <-•Ryse•-> ^.^ } |
