"How have you been?" The question left him, concern for Silverdapple laced in his voice. Somehow she seemed upset about something, and with how intuitive the loner is.. it made his heart ache slight. She promised to take care of his kits.. naturally he would care for her.

Silverdapple warmed at his question, the familiar comfort in speaking with him making her smile in return. “I’m doing... good,” in all honesty, she was doing good. As long as she avoided her clanmates there was no confrontation. “Your kits are doing good too. They are still... sad.” She hesitated to speak the truth to the Tom, not wanting to hurt him, but she knew that he would rather the truth than a lie. Her gaze moved over his pelt, a small pang of sadness falling over her. “How are you? Where are you staying? Are you getting any prey?” Worry laced her tone, matching his.

{ imma just make these kinda sorta shorter than usual }
Scarletfeather was resting just outside of the waterfall, small droplets of the water sprinkling her pelt and she laid in a patch of sun. The temperature difference between the water and the sunlight was soothing, as the sun would warm the chilly droplets that landed on her. It almost made her look as though she was sparkling, though the she-cat didn’t notice. She was only enjoying the gentle breeze that rugged at her whiskers, and the scent that promised the coming of greenleaf.
Ripplewave had just returned from a hunt, a few morsels hanging from his jaws. The silence that he had enjoyed while he was out had calmed him. There was no everyday bustle of the clan, there was no Heronclaw to nag him, there was no judge mental eyes at his sour attitude. It made him feel... serene, at peace, and that made him slightly happy. Happiness was a rare feeling for the Tom, most of the time he spent being annoyed, or embarrassed, but not usually happy. { I CANT WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO STEAL HIS HEART UUUGGH }

(I live! So sorry for my absence, I had some final projects due last week and this week was finals week, so its been rough and stressful for me with nonstop work and studying haha. But I am now finished with the semester and I will be more active on here! I hope you've all been doing well and doing good with finals and everything, I missed you all!!)
