(I realize that I’m pretty late to say good morning xD but I’ve been at school all day till now! Me and my best buddy tackled some of that horrid math together and it made it a lot easier and bearable so woo for that!  🎃❅❖.Şp໐໐kฯຟiຖ໓.❖❅🎃 yea it wasn’t too hard tbh, just a small application but the money is really nice hehe it’s 26.50 an hour!! I’ve been involved in theater since 2nd grade, so it’s a beloved hobby of mine but not a career path I’m looking into :3 ღ ιcєƒιяє ღ That’s so exciting! Also I still have lil Lionpaw open if anyone else wants to rp! ] Darkspeck with Honeysplash If Honeysplash were any other she-cat besides the one he loved, Darkspeck probably would have flattened his ears and hissed at her for laughing at him. But as it was, the light-hearted sound was like music to his ears; if she was able to laugh about it now, perhaps she forgave him for his insensitive behavior? He was glad, though, that she agreed to continue accompanying him. They could at least salvage some of their morning, ruined by such a simple misunderstanding. The tom wanted to say something more in apology for his rude actions, but nothing came to mind. Instead, he allowed a comfortable silence to stretch between them as he padded after her. Although they had lost sight of the bird they'd been following, it seemed to him that Honeysplash knew where she was going, and he trusted her instincts. Certainly, he wished he had the same instinct - it would have made his whole morning much easier and much less embarrassing to begin with! It didn't take long to dawn on Darkspeck just where Honeysplash was leading him. As snow-filled trees filled his vision less and less, a field of snow came into view. He recognized this as the Bright Meadow, though it certainly did not live up to its name during leaf-bare. All around, where vibrant flowers would normally color the landscape in any other season, was the bare blanket of fresh snow. Surprisingly, though, the tom's amber gaze caught the sight of canna lilies blooming amidst the field of white. How odd, he thought to himself. Cannas normally did not grow during leaf-bare. Perhaps it was a telltale sign that newleaf was fast approaching. Taking the lead, Darkspeck padded past Honeysplash and made a beeline for the batch of pink and red flowers. Pink like Honeysplash's eyes, he couldn't help but think to himself. However, once he was close enough to the cannas, he spotted a flash of blue... a jay's feather? The tom couldn't believe his luck. "I can't believe it," he said in shock, glancing back at Honeysplash. Cloudpaw with Coalpaw and Echomist At the queen's assurances, Cloudpaw glanced back at Coalpaw, giving her what he hoped was an encouraging smile - she seemed a bit tense, maybe even uncomfortable, and he hoped to make her feel more at ease. After all, he was the one who had invited her in the first place. Then, the small tom crept quietly into the cave. Instantly, the sweet and nostalgic smell of the nursery flooded his senses. He normally didn't reflect on his days as a kit, impatiently waiting for the chance to be made an apprentice and prove himself, but sometimes bygones got the better of him, and he briefly wondered if Coalpaw felt the same way. But nevertheless, Cloudpaw was here for business, and he sidled up to the three newcomers. "Thanks for looking out for them, Echomist," he meowed softly so as to avoid disturbing their sleeping denmates. All three of the kits seemed to be sleeping comfortably, so it was unlikely any of them suffered from fever. Outwardly, the only thing he could conclude was that they were a bit small and thin, likely due to a lack of proper nourishment from growing up with Silas. Hopefully, that would be resolved soon enough now that they had a whole clan looking after them; Cloudpaw could only imagine how disgruntled some of his clanmates would be, knowing they would have to share some fresh-kill with these kits, borne to a traitor and a loner, especially considering food was already scarce during leaf-bare. On the other hand, any mental scars they suffered would take far longer to heal... he vividly recalled seeing one of the three having an outburst the day before as Silas was leaving. Finally, after a moment's respite to inspect the kits as properly as possible without actually waking them, Cloudpaw turned to Echomist. "Can you make sure they eat enough?" Then, turning back to Coalpaw, his blue eye softened. "Want to see them?"
Nightraven with Cloudfrost, Vipershade, Aurorabreeze, and Cherrypetal Once Cloudfrost gave her assurances, Nightraven smiled. "Glad we're on the same page," he said, somewhat relieved that she didn't seem keen on prying into his own feelings on the matter regarding Cinderspark - the tom wasn't quite sure he was ready to share. Then, he turned and led the way toward Vipershade, Aurorabreeze, and Cherrypetal, waiting near the waterfall. Once he reached them, he dipped his head in greeting. "Good morning everyone!" he said chirpily, hoping to set the tone for a cheerful patrol. "You all look like you're planning to head out soon. Mind if we join you?" After framing the question, Nightraven glanced back, as if making a gesture to his white-and-gray companion. He was a bit antsy to get out of camp and escape the tense atmosphere - it was only a further reminder of everything that had gone down the day before. Now that he thought about it, though, the tom certainly hoped no one was planning on bringing that up as a conversation starter during the patrol. He knew that he and Cloudfrost didn't want to talk about it so, needless to say, that would certainly be rather awkward.

Joker LMAO ] Icepaw paused once Cloverrose approached, a slightly annoyed expression came to her face. Of course Thornpaw would have training or something. How mousebrained he was to never mention it! And to think she was the one who made an offer to have him accompany her, for shame! "You are disturbing something," The annoyed she-cat spoke flatly before she sat where she was, now looking pointedly at her apprentice companion, Thornpaw. "If you have to do training or whatever with him, take him. I can do border checks on my own!" The she-cat grumbled the last part. Oddly feeling disappointed that her little getaway with the tom would be put on hold now. But regardless, she still wanted to put her leader's words into action. The apprentice now looking towards the camp entrance again before breathing a sigh. Hopefully Cloverrose would talk some sense into the tom for defending a traitor. No doubt she knew it looked bad for her, after all, to have her own apprentice talk back to their own leader. A clear reflection of her own teaching ethics. Or at least that's how Icepaw saw it. The thought remembered with ease as it came to mind last night. Azurefall too, was a terrible mentor then. Not that the black and white apprentice would have thought otherwise! Silverstar probably didn't think it over when giving a traitor-sympathizer like Ivorypaw to him either.

Ðᴏʟᴄᴇ another tag for the win!!bb is ok they at the meadow. lots of filler to rp if they weren't xD ] Honeysplash's ears still burned as she kept her gaze lowered. Her paws gaining more momentum as they came closer and closer to Bright Meadow. Clearly her thoughts had already gone a mile a minute, no a second! A mile a second! in a matter of moments once their misunderstanding was resolved. Not that she felt ashamed, but rather, just embarrassed to even be pondering the idea so soon, without having to actively think about it. Yes, she had thought of the kits she and Darkspeck might have, well, more so it happened after the night the clan had only hours ago.. With the supposed kits of Cinderspark and then the kits showing up from Silas. Kits were in the thoughts of everyone now, probably.. Lightly she shook her head. Maybe it's just me.. The she-cat smiled widely once they escaped the trees that surrounded them. Feeling a sense of freedom as her heart became light. It was easy to say that the meadow was her favorite place to be. How she longed for the beautiful flowers to return and for the snow to be no more.. Inwardly she shook the thought away, she had to focus! Any thoughts of longing for the meadow, or for kits in the future could wait! StarClan wouldn't approve of their becoming of mates if they didn't find the feather! Though it didn't take much prodding around for the she-cat before Darkspeck spoke. The warrior soon approached the tom with a curious glimmer in her magenta eyes as they then grew wide. Feasting themselves on the feather of blue hidden beneath the canna lilies. Canna lilies of all things to be hiding under, and in such a vibrant shade too.. How could she have missed them upon entering? The she-cat wouldn't know. But soon her heart pounded as she looked now to Darkspeck. Uncertain if she should be the one to fetch the feather from beneath the flowers, or let him to be the one. Though with some thought now, he had said the feather was for her. Gently the she-cat moved closer before she pawed at the feather. Now letting the feather know light once she managed to bring it out from underneath the pretty lilies. She could only stare at Darkspeck now with hesitancy pricking at her pelt. What happens next? She didn't want to mess up the moment this time around, and decided to let the tom take the lead.

Ðᴏʟᴄᴇ Cloudpaw the business man.  ] edit. i wrote this while dead tired and so many mistakes once submitted xD ] Echomist gave the medicine cat apprentice a gentle nod. "It's my pleasure," She mewed softly now that the apprentice pair were at the queen's nest. The dreary air just outside the den seemed to be unknown here. Which was honestly a great reassurance to the mottled she-cat. The kits, above all the others in the clan didn't need to stressed out by the heavy air. And how lucky they were that they weren't given any critical stares like they would be had the nursery been out in the open as the apprentices and warrior's areas were. A small purr released from the she-cat as she now looked pointedly at the kits. With her care, they would be just fine. Though her ears pricked once the tom spoke the last bit. Now giving a stiff nod to the two. "I was just thinking they needed to eat more," She admitted, her voice carrying a more serious tone. True, she was worried about that aspect of them. Their little in weight must have happened once Augustpetal died. Sad she felt now, that she remembered that fact. These poor kits had nobody. No mother to love them, lost to the waves, and a father lost to his sorrow. It just influenced the fact that she wanted to be there for them so badly! Even if had such tragedies never happened they would have never known each other. It was unavoidable, to say the least, that they might feel the sudden relationship between her and the kits was forced. But she was hopeful to make this forced relationship grow completely away from that, and instead into something positive. Her heart swelled just thinking about it.
Coalpaw daintily crept into the nursery after Cloudpaw. Watching the happenings and words between the two with interest. Though her golden eyes drifted to her surroundings. The mossy ground, the likeness of the cave. It had been a while since she had entered this place. In some ways she almost missed it. The carefree enclosure, where she felt at peace and safe. But in the same moments it reminded her of the sibling she had that died to sickness. And then to her sweet and beautiful mother who grew utterly depressed and subsequently died not long after. This den used to harbor so many happy memories, but now she could only think of them through a saddened lens. Lost in her thinking, she jumped once being addressed. A certain hesitance being made as she paused. The look in Cloudpaw's eye though.. felt oddly reassuring. "Uh, sure.." Stiffly she nodded before she now peered closer. Still hesitating. Inwardly she shook her head at the weakness she showcased. I won't see them this way. The apprentice admitted that fact to herself before she forced her paws to move. Now brushing against the medicine cat apprentice as she looked over the sleeping fluffy bundles. A quiet flame lit within her in that moment as her breathing subconsciously slowed. Watching the three half-clan kits.. was.. oddly.. comforting. Her golden eyes soon softened and she felt a smile come to her face without wanting it to. Kits were rare since she was apprenticed, and only much more rare as she grew older and older. To look at them now, at her age just steps away from being a warrior, was completely different than how it was when she was younger. She felt as if she almost wanted to protect them. To be the one that kept them warm at night.. Had she always been like this? For her it was hard to decipher the feeling, and instead she stepped back now and looked to Cloudpaw. "Will they be okay?" She mewed softly. Concern built little by little, but she wouldn't show it. Conflicted already by the emotions she felt in a matter of seconds.

Thornpaw addressed his mentor. "We were planning on going out on the dawn border patrol." He also shared Icepaw's feelings of annoyance, but he tried to not let it show. Everywhere he seemed to look he caught some kind of look, and he was beginning to think that he was treading on thin ice around camp. He just wanted to get away and spend some time alone thinking to himself. In his mind he hadn't broken the code, just found the whole Cinderspark situation unjust and so spoke from what his heart told him. |

Vipershade with Aurorabreeze, Cherrypetal, Cloudfrost, and Nightraven, Vipershade turned towards Cherrypetal as she padded over to join himself and Aurorabreeze. "Of course." He nodded. How could he say no when the she-cat looked so eager to be out? Soon after, Cloudfrost and Nightraven came towards them. He shook his head at the question. "Not at all." He was glad to see others who felt the need to get out of camp for a bit. Not just because they had to in order to be productive, but to escape the tenseness of it all. "Looks like we're a decent sized patrol now. Shall we go?" He rose and began to make his way out of camp. "Is there any place anyone was feeling like hunting in particular?" He glanced back at his companions. Since they were all warriors, he figured they didn't need to appoint a 'leader' of the patrol and could simply take it at a majority vote. |
