- or or apprentice shenanigans with Cliffpaw and either Tansypaw or Pebblepaw? Both my apprentices are pretty bossy LOL so I could see them convincing Cliffpaw to sneak out of camp with them, and then of course getting into trouble because of the flooding rain.
- or, finally, I see that Cliffpaw is mentored by Lionheart so we could do a training session of some sort? 🤔 not sure what training they can do when they're basically stuck in camp but you get what I mean! ] { Ebonyflame prying into the conversation, "Ok i see you Willowsong tryna take my man, catch me outside." Lavendersong - Camp - Morning/ Mid-day Lavendersong listened as the downpour got heavier, she lay on the cavern floor after tending to her children all morning; although they were already apprentice's they were still her beloved children. Her paw pads were a bit sore and she sighed in relief as she finally got to rest for a moment. The ache in her paws slowly faded, her let a low purr escape, her tail flick ever so gently against the cool stone floor. She listened to the sound of the rain against the roar of the waterfall, both soothing. As they always had been since she was a young kit, her peaceful moment was disturbed by another low rumble but this one came from her tummy. She looked around the clearing, not wanting to get up she searched the camp with her gaze for Sharpfang, Oh where could he be? she thought. |

I wouldn't mind if timber and ice did get stuck somewhere for a bit lol ] Icerose couldn't help her shivering as she continued with Timberlegs back on their long trek to camp. Her pelt was soaked and the rain that continued to fall against her fur made any hopes of drying off futile. All she could do was trudge back to camp despite the cold settling into her bones. She blinked away raindrops from her eyes before she sneezed. Her heart was still racing from the feeling of being surrounded by water, and the powerlessness that came with it. It was horrifying. She did not want to think of what could have happened had she never met Timberlegs while out on her own in the territory. The warrior felt indebted to the tom and that didn't sit well with her either. Just about everything right now was just perfect. Her ear twitched upon hearing his sudden question but what she understood made her want to claw his ears off. Was it not obvious?! But Icerose refrained from snapping at him for now. "Everything is fine. Let's just get back to camp already!" She huffed tiredly, keeping her gaze ahead of her and nowhere else. On top of getting frozen to the bone, they had no prey to bring back to camp! How humiliating..Cherrypaw found herself near the back of the cave wall, sitting still as her blush eyes scanned camp with disinterest. While the rain outside felt unsettling in her belly, she just wanted to be free from the suffocating clutches of camp. Her clanmates' anxiety hung in the air and affected the young apprentice more than she would like. She sighed, quite unlike herself before hearing Sedgepaw. Suddenly, the she-cat's expression became lively with the appearance of the other apprentice. "Hi Sedgepaw!" She greeted and waved her tail back in greeting. Though the she-cat couldn't help the small giggle she had from noticing the unkemptness of Sedgepaw's fur. "This rain is awful, isn't it? Ghostlight hasn't even tried to bring me out!" Cherrypaw glanced to the camp entrance as she complained, much unlike herself again. But she'd never lived through rain like this before, and it was obvious enough no training would be happening much to her dismay. All she wanted was to go out and be surrounded by trees and grass and not in this cold stuffy cave right now!

Azurefall is kinda slow in that area lololol what i do remember is that azurefall will take responsibility and play the dad role. That sounds interesting! I think their romance is more like just something we had discussed as a friends-to-lovers thing but haven't really started or put into action yet, if that makes sense?
Also about the SunnyAzureClover love triangle, I am also super fuzzy on the details LOL but thought I would chime in with what I remember! I think we did agree on what you said about Azure being their father figure, and Clover possibly helping raise them? Not sure about her mental state right now, like if she thinks they're together she might not be suuuper keen to help, you know?, but if she doesn't then she'd definitely be happy to co-parent!
And I think we also agreed that Hazelkit and Thornkit would die at a relatively young age, but Larkkit would survive - if that's something you're still interested in ѕρσσкуѕку

(Here ya go ♡ Bun ♡!) ~Sharpfang~Sharpfang sat thinking to himself in the middle of the camp, his head tipped to the side as he watched the camp entrance and listened to his clanmates around him. He had wondered if he would be sent out on a hunting patrol but no cat had said anything, and he couldn’t blame them, stress seemed to fill the air due to the storm and what seemed to be endless rain outside. He couldn’t help but worry himself, the fresh kill pile was getting low and he was sure that no prey would be out and about in this weather. The warrior was glad at least for the protection and safety of the camp, his clanmates and family could stay dry and warm and out of the harsh elements. Sharpfang glanced around the camp, his yellow eyes suddenly caught sight of his beautiful mate Lavendersong laying in their nest. She was looking around her and he wondered what she was looking for. The dark tabby got to his paws and trotted over to where she lay. “Hello Lavendersong.” He greeted with a purr. “Did you need anything?” |

(Here ya go 🎃❅❖.Şp໐໐kฯຟiຖ໓.❖❅🎃 !) ~Timberlegs~Timberlegs gave Icerose a sidelong glance, the she-cat looked everything but fine, but something told him that she wasn’t going to admit that. He didn’t say anything back, just gave a grunt of acknowledgment as they trekked on, their paws sloshing on the damp and muddy earth. Timberlegs tried not to let it show, but he too was feeling miserable and cold and he felt exhausted. The tom looked at their surroundings, pools were forming on the ground and even the undergrowth looked unhappy, he shivered as he wondered how much further the river had swelled. It was dangerous then but he couldn’t imagine how it was now. A sudden flash of lighting and the crack of thunder made him jump and startled him out if his thoughts. They still had a ways to go until they made it back to camp and the weather was not looking good in their favor, with how cold they were and how awful the storm was it was not safe to be out here. He let out a sigh. “I think we should try to take shelter, it’s too dangerous to be out here.” He declared, turning to Icerose. “We can at least try to dry off a bit and then hope for a break in the weather to make it the rest of the way back.” ~Sedgepaw~Sedgepaw sat herself down next to Cherrypaw. “It really is!” She agreed, glad that Cherrypaw was feeling the same about the rain and being stuck in camp. “Coalfire told me no when I begged to go out earlier and said to keep busy in the camp in the meantime.” Going out in crazy rain like this could be a great learning opportunity, learning to hunt and make her way in the harshest of weather, that could help her to become one of the greatest warriors in the clan! “I’ve been trying to keep myself busy, but I’ve started to run out of ideas and it’s been driving me crazy. I hate being stuck in camp!” The apprentice said with a pout. She was grateful for the shelter of their camp and knew the warriors said that it was dangerous to go out, especially alone, but it had been days of this horrible weather and relentless rain and she was very much getting tired of it and just wanted to be out of the camp. “What have you been up to?” Sedgepaw asked, perking up a bit, she was at least happy to be talking with her friend and fellow apprentice. |

[ Finally have some replies ready!! Later than I anticipated but they're here nevertheless. Sorry for the wait *Spottedpelt* ѕρσσкуѕку <3 busy work week and all that so I was too tired to write tbh. You know how it is :') ]𝐋𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓 ❝ every night i lie in bed, the brightest colors fill my head. a million dreams are keeping me awake. ❞ Lionheart shook out his mottled fur as he stumbled back into the shelter of camp. He'd tried to tag onto a border patrol earlier, his desire to help the clan winning out over his preference to stay dry, but they hadn't made it very far before the terrible conditions had forced them to fall back. He let out a sigh of frustration; the rain was really starting to get restrictive. Now, he was planning to dry out his fur, maybe take a little nap, and try to go out again later — but just as he was making his way to the warriors area, he spotted one of his fellow warriors, Willowsong, tending to one of the empty nests. Admittedly, he didn't know the dusty gray-brown she-cat too well, especially as it seemed that she erred to the more introverted side and tended to stick close to her littermates, but now was a good a time as any to change that. If there was one thing Lionheart enjoyed, it was making friends with his denmates; that had been the case when he was an apprentice, and hadn't changed even after his naming ceremony! Feeling suddenly rejuvenated from his earlier fatigue at this idea, Lionheart bounded over to her with his usual verve, pausing once he was closer and calling out a hearty greeting, "Hi, Willowsong! Are you changing the bedding?" he asked, even though the answer to that was rather obvious. Now, that was definitely more an apprentice's job - and AetherClan was not lacking in that department! - but, hey, he certainly wasn't going to tell her off for that. Every little bit helps, and he was sure the apprentices were glad to have a break from such menial tasks! "Need any help with that? Two paws are better than one!"𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 ❝ tell me, what makes you so afraid that you try and hide your heart away? ❞ There was an unmistakable gleam in those leafy greens, a fire that hadn't been there a few heartbeats before, one that Firelight didn't fail to miss; as a tom who rather liked to compliment she-cats on their traits, physical or otherwise, how could he not notice? It stood in stark contrast to her otherwise demure actions and words, the way her eyes continuously flitted this way and that as if she suddenly found eye contact to be utterly unbearable. It seemed that she wanted something more from him beyond pretty words and empty promises — the only question, then, was what exactly she wanted, and how far he was willing to indulge her. Although it was a conversation he had started, he found he rather didn't like where this tête-a-tête was going; it was dragging on and starting to feel like they were playing a game of her choosing, not one that he had agreed to. But, he supposed it wouldn't hurt to play along a little longer! Undaunted by the contact of her tail against his, he instead leaned even closer, his smile never faltering even though it didn't quite reach his eyes; wrapping his own tail around her, he took the opportunity to whisper into her ear: "Of course you're special. How can I prove that to you?"
